We had an early morning Eurostar train booked so it was ideal as the station was literally across the road. There was plenty of choice in where to eat the night before. The staff were friendly, the room very clean & the location superb.

The lift was very small with a weight restriction meaning two people & bags couldn't get in at the same time! Signs on the different floors to indicate room direction would be very helpful.

Not as what mentioned in picture. No space to walk or stand. unhygienic floor , stairs . Fridge not working very cold and window with think glass hotel room is not in their premises, it’s at different place, no way to contact reception in case of emergency.

Friendly and helpful staff at front of house. Location close to train station and food/drink venues. Great to have a ceiling fan and window. Very much appreciated that we could leave our luggage free of charge after we had checked out to go and do a little exploring before travelling home.

No full length mirror. Would have liked a bigger TV with more options than just freeview. We had several bags and it would have been kind if we had been offered some help up to our room as we had 2 flights of stairs to get up. An extra/even number of milk pods would have been nice for our morning coffee.

Friendly staff and really clean room! Comfortable bed with extra pillow and had everything I expected, lovely little room worth the price and good for a night or two, super nearby transport links and in walking distance to the place I was visiting whilst staying in London

My only issue was the wifi connection was poor so I had to use my data almost always

Perfect spot opposite Kings Cross Station. Our train cancelled during the rail strike.

The noise of underground’s running is annoying. The tap in the bathroom is not in good condition.

The location was as expected.

Cigarette smoke filtered through the extractor fan in the bathroom, so I had to keep the light on through the night to keep the extractor fan running. Smoke also came in through the gap under the bedroom door, so I had to put a towel on the floor to block the gap. The windows in my room were not very secure and I had to lock them as all of them were unlocked. The windows are quite big and even though I was on the first floor, they could easily be reached with a bit of imagination. I didn't feel very safe. Having a small fridge to myself was great. A small microwave would also be something to consider.

Staff was moody. No smile. Not ready to help anyway. No toiletries in small room. Lift was small and went out of order . Hard to bring our suitcases down by ourself while we were patient and senior in age at check out.

Ideal situation.

Why does the water need to run all the time, why does the bed have to have an ugly bulb? Why does a noisy minibar have to destract you from sleeping - with nothing inside??? An old fan linked to the bathroom light which cannot be turned off,crazy. Some small amendments to the room, no money involved, would turn this place around, especially the back house is silent and ideally situated. The way it is? Thank you, but no thank you.

no running hot water in the bath (tap didn’t work) so couldn’t have a shower unless it was freezing cold . reported to reception and all they said was it was working yesterday.

location is fantastic but with the proximity to the train and tube comes all the noise from traffic and partying.

VERY noisy, Planned for it and brought my earplugs. Close walk to breakfast and pubs and, most importantly, central access to the transportation hub.
