We stayed here the last week in March - the house was beautiful! There are 4 bedrooms and a very large and open and spacious living room and dining/kitchen area. The screened in porch was so pretty, and there was an outdoor porch and yard behind the house as well. Just minutes from Bethany Beach, and not too far from Rehoboth Beach too. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Nice cozy townhouse. Plenty of room for a group. Comfortable living room, kitchen and dining. Great size dining table with flint stone heavy chairs. Needs a better cleaning job. Useless TV remotes. Grill is a disaster. It has no power to grill. The first floor bedroom floor squeaked loud and wired.

Family enjoyed our holiday here. Plenty of space for all. Wish we had a regular coffee pot (Keurig was provided) but we were unable to purchase one. Frying pans were old and scratched but we made do. Overall a nice property.

We picked Bethany and this not-at-the-beach-but-close townhouse to adjust our trip and minimize exposure risk.The house was much more space than we needed, but at night and had there been rain it was perfect to spread out. The back porch was quiet and private- much coffee, wine and beer was enjoyed there!Bethany Beach itself is small, charming, not too crowded the week leading into Labor Day. People wore masks almost universally, 'beach' shopping is adequate without being too redundant, and people were generally respectful, friendly and patient. We'll be back-and while we'll probably stay closer to the water next time (teenage girls), this was a quick 6 or 7 minute drive and (pay but not too much) parking was always easily available!

Beautiful and spacious home! Loaded with anything you may need in the kitchen, many TVs and bathrooms to accommodate all, relaxing screened in porch, easy access to beaches and shops and in a beautiful neighborhood. Definitely a home we will rent again!

The house and location were fantastic because it was between O.C. Md. and Rehoboth Bch.. Couple problems with the internet but no big deal. I think the storm had something to do with that. I contacted Steve and he addressed the problem immediately. There was ample room for all of my family so no one was on top of anyone unless that was what they wanted. The bedrooms were a great size with ample space to move around and the beds were very comfortable. The property amenities were great and well worth the fees charged because all you had to bring was yourself. There was everything on the premises from ping pong to swimming vests. The down side of the stay was the house could have been a little cleaner and by that I mean a thorough dusting. There were spider webs everywhere and quite a bit of dust on the blinds and the curtain toppers in the kitchen. I feel as though the property just needs to be checked by Steve because I do feel it is something that needs to be addressed with his cleaning company. I do believe he cares about the comfort of his renters because he was easy to get a hold of and took care of any problems that came up pronto. So for that reason I had to give 4 stars instead of 5. But if you want to know if I would rent from him again, Most Definitely!

Wife was ill so we left a day late for our family vacation. I heard from my daughters as soon as they arrived and the reported all was as good as expected. Wife & I arrived the following day to see happy smiling faces! I realized we couldn't have picked a better spot to act as our "Home Base" for a week in the area. Extremely quiet neighborhood to rest up in every night before taking our Grandkids out for an adventure every day!

everything perfect

It was an easy and relaxing weekend for our bike rides. The house was beautiful and in a great neighborhood. We wished we bought the pool passes. We will stay again.

Stayed two nights in late April. Nice house in a good location with lots of beds to accommodate a large party.

We always enjoy spending our winter vacation here, we are looking forward to next year

A group of 8 women stayed in house for MLK weekend.. we really enjoyed ourselves and felt right at home. The beds were very comfortable and Netflix was a PLUS!

Our overall experience was that we love this property this is our second stay at this home .

The property is really nice and is a place to stay in. It has sufficient space for a big family and the rooms are very wide and neat. We enjoyed our stay there.

Clean, comfortable, spacious house for 3 generations of my family. Bear Trap Dunes was great for golf, pools, and proximity to the beach. I highly recommend this property & location.

Owner is very kind. The house was clean, maintained well and very welcoming. Enough space for us to all feel comfortable. Centrally located to both DE (Bethany) and MD (Ocean City) beaches with tons of local restaurants to try. Lots of FREE parks and playgrounds for younger children to play. Bethany beach is just enough beach and boardwalk for those with younger children to have fun, play in the sand, have a treat or two and get tired out. :) Would definitely recommend to a friend and plan to return again in the near future. :) THANK YOU...

All of us were very pleased with the accommodations. The house was clean, comfortable, spacious, and met our needs. We enjoyed traveling to the nearby beaches;; the nearby shops were handy for purchases. We were siblings and spouses celebrating significant birthdays. This was great. Nothing distracted us from having a good time. A few suggestions for future rentals might include bath mats for the tubs, especially for us elderly and dish towels for the kitchen. But we certainly would come again given the opportunity. All our best for a successful summer season. Shirley

Great 4 bedroom for golfers

My family and friends truly enjoyed our stay here! We stayed here for 3 nights, 3/24 - 27, 2018. House was really clean and nice. The owner, Mr. Steve Gilbert was very responsive to any concerns and questions. My son, 10 yr old boy raised Two Thumbs Up for this home.

My husband and I stayed at this home January 14-21 2018. We were surprised to see all the snow in Delaware when we arrived but had no difficulty accessing the home as the driveway and steps and porch were cleared for our arrival. The home is welcoming and cozy with all the modern conveniences we needed. Bethany Beach, Fenwick Island and Ocean City are all close by. We cooked in and also went out to a few very good restaurants such as Harpoon Hannah's and A Touch of Italy. Staying for the week allowed us the time to review some real estate listings as we are planning a move in the future to this area. Would love to return to this property when the weather is warmer to be able to take advantage of all the amenities Bear Trap Dunes has to offer. A final note-this home is beautifully decorated and was immaculate when we arrived. This makes all the difference to me when I am renting. Not one issue the whole week and the owners were extremely cordial and welcoming. Will definitely return.

We loved staying at the Gilbert's home in Oceanview. The place was more than we ever imagined. Everyone had a very relaxing time and look forward to renting the home again.

House was beautiful, nice & clean, great location, community was wonderful, pools were great & owners were great! I would definitely stay there again.

Quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed the amenities of the pool, club and golf course. Just minutes to the beach.

Home is lovely and well kept. House was perfect for our family; relaxing and very spacious. I am glad we were able to have our first family vacation here. Great place for our guys annual golf trip!

The house was wonderful. A couple things I could not get the microwave to beat anything and I tried all the settings. Also one of the dining room chairs was wobbly so I used the wood glue in the kitchen drawer to repair it. The pool was closed a lot longer than we were advised slso. Overall wonderful family vacation.

I have a scrapbooking group with 7 other ladies. We have been renting this house for 11 years. Beth and Steve Gilbert are wonderful to work with and very acommodating. We always rent in the off season so it is very quiet neighborhood. I would recommend this house to everyone.

We loved this spacious well equipped condo. Truly a home away from home experience. Beds were very comfortable and well equipped with entertainment in every room. 5 college friends and I stayed in the house this past weekend. It was a perfect fit for our weekend! The fully stocked kitchen was helpful for the couple of meals we prepared. The house was impeccably clean and nicely updated. It was a nice short drive to the darling beach town of Bethany Beach. We would love to be back one day!
