Really enjoyed the stay with our young family (2 kids aged 4 and under) - the waterside location, lawn games, and kayaks were especially appreciated. Joanne and Rob were thoughtful and communicative hosts :) Thank you for a great getaway!

Definitly a place that I would recommend to anyone who’s willing to mix sandbanks and fishing in tbe same trip! The view from the cottage is fantastic and you find everything you need in the cottage to stay there and relax!

This is hands down the best equipped short term rental we’ve ever had! No detail missing in terms of kitchen equipment, linens, outdoor fun equipment. The water view is lovely with the morning sun coming in; the hosts are kind and generous. Easy access to all the many cool things to do in PEC. We’ll be back!

We loved staying in this cozy cottage while we got to enjoy a few days of ice fishing on the incredible Bay of Quinte.
Easy access to the ice meant we could enjoy and extra cup tea before heading out to fish away the day.
The hosts were very accommodating and the cottage was perfect!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The property is amazing and has everything you need. The added bonus of being able to launch and moor our boat made it very convenient for fishing. Would highly recommend!

This is our second time visiting this property and is a very nice spot to stay and enjoy PEC. The cottage feels very private. It is clean and very well appointed with every thing you might need inside and outside for your visit. Just a short drive into Picton. Really enjoyed our stay again.

This was the first time my husband and I used VRBO, and we were not disappointed. The cottage was superb - clean, beautiful, and included every amenity we could have wanted. The view of the lake just steps away was fantastic - our favourite thing was to sit by the water in the comfortable adirondack chairs with our morning coffees. That and of course going out on the water with the canoe! Rob and Joanna were great hosts - warm, friendly, and always available if we ever needed anything (not that we did!). We are already looking forward to our next visit - can't wait!

This is a beautiful property which is set up so you can kick back, relax and enjoy some time away. Also lots of opportunities to enjoy the water on any one of the watercrafts available. Lots of space for the kids to have fun. Also tons of games for the kids and family alike and a lovely collection of books to get lost in. Robert was friendly and welcoming and on hand to help out with anything. Look forward to visiting again!

A beautiful home on the lake which contained everything we needed. A lot of seabirds to enjoy and beautiful trees adorn the property. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Thanks Rob and Joanne for sharing this beautiful spot with some of my family.

My wife and I stayed here to celebrate a birthday and spend the one weekend doing very little. Rob, our host was very helpful, informative and accommodating. Perfect long weekend getaway. The nicest lake cottage
Rob and Joanna have a beautiful property. The cottage is located just right in front of the water with enough space from their house and the neighbors which guarantees privacy. The cottage is unbelievably clean, definitely the cleanest place I have ever visited. Location is just what we expected: immersed in the nature and incredibly peaceful. The view from the living room in the morning is an incredible experience. Also, the cottage in person is much bigger than what we thought by looking at the pictures, that was another pleasant surprise. We have been very pleased with this getaway and we thank Rob and Joanna for being so nice and always available if needed. Planning on coming back again!

We've been to Prince Edward Country several times and never had a better experience than at the Long Reach Retreat Cottage. Fantastic location, right on the water, with wonderful amenities, great hosts, and a very clean, comfortable, cottage with everything you could need for your visit. Simply exceptional.

A beautiful property extremely well maintained by owners. Comfortable and convenient with all the major necessities on site. Drinking coffee by the water and relaxing in the hammock were some of our favourite activities.

Fall Studio Tour Long Weekend
The location of this cottage is fantastic. The Owners considered every detail to make our stay comfortable. The kitchen was perfect to cook in; the beds were comfy; and the outdoor games and watercraft were in excellent condition and easy to access. We were very happy with how well everything was organized. The cottage is located just outside of Picton but in easy reach of all local activities. It was a delight to stay here and we look forward to coming back in the future and spending more time on the patio watching the herons and water fowl. Rob and Joanna were wonderful hosts.

Perfection in Picton
The cottage was pristine, views of the Bay amazing, Rob and Joanna were wonderful hosts, and looked after the small details that made our stay so special. We stayed for three days, but will definitely be back for a week to further enjoy the cottage and surroundings. Perfect Cottage Experience
We couldn’t have been happier staying here and we kept saying how the cottage exceeded our expectations. The cottage is absolutely beautiful with comfortable and tasteful furnishings. It was outfitted with everything you could possibly need on a cottage vacation. We were close to wineries and everything else that Prince Edward County has to offer. There were passes for the Sandbanks beach but we preferred to swim right off the dock. Rob was so friendly and helpful and my husband really enjoyed talking to him about the history and details of the region. A wonderful experience in every respect!

Wonderful vacation!
Everything about it from the time we arrived at our vacation spot until we left was absolutely beautiful! The pics don’t even do it justice! The hosts were
so helpful with info and even helped us with getting dinghy in and out of water! Our place was spotless and enjoyed every bit of it from fishing to fire to even swimming, although weather was not the warmest! Thanks so much Robert and Joanna for everything! We will definitely return for another vacation one day!
