Food is good, many dishes available. The diner has AC, so it's very pleasant to eat there when it's very hot outside. The beach is very close to the hotel. For fun, you can play for free mini golf or table tennis. In the evening, there was disco for children. The stuff is very friendly, helpful.

There were long queues (lines) at dinner. Sometimes we had to wait 15-20 minutes to get to eat. Sadly, many rooms do not have AC, so it was pretty unpleasant to sleep over some tropical nights. The parking is small and is made between the trees.

We are very pleased with the accommodation at this hotel. We were accommodated in the Beata building. Each building has a name and parking around them. All buildings are located in a large, beautiful manicured garden, with many benches. The landscape is very beautiful, you can see the mountains behind the buildings, and the beach in front of the hotel can be reached directly from the yard, in 3-4 minutes. The promenade of Makarska resort (very beautiful and long) passes in front of the Riviera hotel. The rooms are large, clean, with large refrigerator, TV, the beds have very good mattresses, the furniture is new. The room without a balcony has a window-mounted tumble dryer outside. The food is good, buffet breakfast and dinner. The hotel and restaurant staff are attentive and well prepared. I paid in euros, at the reception, on arrival, and on departure I received the kuna back, because I had 9 euros in advance and I did not spend them. Sunbeds are paid on the beach, but you can stay without, there is a lot of shade under the pines, the beach is with stones and pebbles, very beautiful. Live music was played every evening on the restaurant terrace and those who wanted to danced. We say that this hotel must be considered very good, for 2 stars / price / position / resort! We return next year, Makarska delighted us a lot, but the Riviera is also an accommodation for our taste.

Hello, We were accommodated 10 nights between August 26 - September 5, 2021 at the Rivijera hotel and we really liked it. We made our reservation and we want to return from August 26, 2022. We return with more friends. We would like for 2022, to receive rooms with balcony, all in the Beata building. It is very good at Rivijera Sunny Resort by Valamar. We wish you all good health!

Poor WiFi connection

The general atmosphere of the Resort makes you feel really comfortable and chilled plus the location with is just a few steps from the sea. Food was really tasty

I did not understand why there were no drinks provided during the dinner time and I am not talking about fancy drinks but a water . It was available during breakfast but for some reason missed at later time . Beside of that everything else was really good .

Food

Facilities do not have the aircondition and it was a horrible. We just could not sleep. We had to keep our windows opened but than we had lizzards coming in.

The hotel requires a serious investment and reconstruction.

The location of the facility near the sea and the beach. The food was good and various. The staff was very kind all the time. The room was clean and the towels were changed daily.

The queue at the dinner was very unpleasant. The dinner period should be longer than 2 hours to avoid staying in line for at least 20 minutes. The AC should be mandatory and a balcony at every room.

There was no air condition and the room was unbelievably hot during the day & night.
