I liked the place cause it's located right on the beach, so you can swim in the ocean or in the pool. very comfortable rooms and beds. very polite and attentive staff, very nice owner and manager.

the kitchen is weak. expensive, but not tasty. maybe it would be better to cook local dishes

Very comfy accommodation, excellent bed quality, good bathroom, spacious, modern, spotless with a great swimming pool. Direct access to a characterful little beach with a shallow tidal pool. Breakfasts are good quality and generous and both breakfasts and dinner are served in a delightful and airy little pavillion almost on the beachfront. Excellent staff and owner Manitz is a lovely, gentle person. Definitely recommended.

It’s a short tuk tuk ride to fabulous Marissa swimming beach and slightly longer to lovely Waligama surfing and bathing beach. Both are must do’s but beyond walking distance from the hotel.

Great, calm place on the edge of ocean! We stay here for one week with family! Highly recommend for family with kids and couples slat any age. Here you could find everything for happy holiday time. Great hotel team cleaning rooms every day, towels changed every day, great breakfast services individually. Swimming pool and area around all what you need to chill. Ocean in front of hotel not for swimming, but any moment you could take TukTuk to go to Mirrisa or Weligama beach (5-10 min), price for transfer less than cheap.

Hard to say, just some tips to travelers, please just in case have with you physical credit card to pay for hotel, because bank terminal not support Apple Pay ( that is usual for SriLanka).

Beautiful hotel in a stunning location. Staff were brilliant-so helpful and friendly. Food was excellent, very comfortable bed…. everything was super. Highly recommend this hotel - you won’t be disappointed!

This Hotel is excellent, I would describe it as a boutique hotel very close to 5* when comparing to anything else local. The quality of service from the team was top classthe atmosphere and the environment created throughout the day was top notch. I ate breakfast here everyday and it was excellent quality and value and Im had one evening meal which was also excellent quality and value. All in all and in consideration of what then Hotel sector in Sri Lanka has had to go through the past couple of years, I would highly recommend.

Imagine Villa Hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are amazing. Nothing was too much trouble.

The (very small) restaurant for the hotel is outside dining by the ocean which is lovely - breakfast and dinner is served here. Menu wasnt huge but a decent variety of mostly european dishes. Staff keep the hotel and pool clean and always easy to find someone if you need anything. They were happy to accomodate our later checkout which was excellent of them and they also photocopied a few things for us to support our Covid 19 testing documents we needed before flying home. Overall a pleasant hotel to stay in!

It is far from Mirissa - we hoped to be able to walk there, wish I had checked in more detail - you need to rely on your driver or tuktuk, if we return i would stay in a hotel in Mirissa itself as we would have more flexibility of coming and going from the hotel to the surf beach and making us of Mirissas cafe and restaurants. we felt in the evening we just ate in the hotel rather than going into mirissa because of the inconvenience of getting to and from. Also this hotel - although lovely and clean and a nice pool - it is very pricey for what you get, compared to other similar priced hotels we stayed in in Sri Lanka, this didnt have the same level of luxury at all, it says it has a spa but i think this is just a place in the garden someone can be arranged to come and give you a massage in, rather than a fully functioning and operational spa thats easily accessible. for the money I was expecting much greater luxury in terms of the facilities and offerings at the hotel. other than being nice and clean with a pool, this hotel was distinctly average in that sense for the money.

Nice design/ layout close to a beach. Clean and tidy except the shower needed a really good scrub with some bleach as the corners were going mouldy.

The room and bed were very comfortable. Lovely view from the balcony and comfortable lounge chairs to watch the sunset from. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious both the western and sri lankan. The pool area was really nice, good quality pool towels. The beach was right in front of the hotel and really beautiful, hardly anyone else on it and a really nice walk to the left. The water was a bit rough for swimming but there was a natural pool area just the right of the hotel which was perfect for taking a dip in if you wanted a change from the pool.

The WiFi didn't quite reach the room we were in so had to walk down the shared balcony to get any coverage. There aren't many places to eat in walking distance from the hotel, the curry and rice we had at the hotel was lovely but we felt the other food was a bit overpriced.

The pool and garden area are beautiful and the beachfront location is gorgeous. The staff are really welcoming and friendly and accommodated a late check out when we went on one of the hotel's recommended whale watching trips. The breakfast was delicious. There is a nice relaxed atmosphere around Imagine Villa.

Our room was really tired looking and didn't have some basic facilities like a telephone or a kettle that worked and it wasn't very clean. The location states Mirissa but the property is actually a ten minute drive from Mirissa which will cost you 500 rupees each way. Many taxi drivers didn't know where it was. The food menu is very European and not ideal if you are looking for a Sri Lankan experience. We had an issue with noise - on one night there was a rave in the derelict hotel behind the Villa from 12am - 3am and it was so loud our room was vibrating. Whilst this couldn't be helped by the Villa, we weren't able to sleep at all. We then went on a Villa recommended excursion the next day and in the booklet we were told our breakfast would be available after the trip as a lunch. However when we returned and ate lunch, we were then charged for this on top of breakfast (that we hadn't eaten) and given the issues with the noise the night before, it would have been a nice gesture to not be charged for this as the room rate really wasn't good value for money on this occassion.

Loved our stay here. The owner and staff were so lovely and helpful, and even took time to walk our little toddler around the garden. They really look after the hotel and it shows. The food is AMAZING you wont be disappointed. Overall, this hotel has great standards and we would love to come back.

This place is totally fantastic. Very well designed spacious rooms right near the beautiful swimming pool. Downstairs rooms have their own private terrace. Breakfast and dinner are served right next to the ocean on a lush green lawn. All very cosy and intimate. Bathroom also very nice; big, clean and great shower with plenty of water. The owner and the staff are very pleasant people and make you feel welcome and at home.

Amazing stay at imagine villa, breakfast was delicious and some of the best dinners ever eaten! Seafood platter was amazing and so fresh. Staff all very friendly, welcoming and attentive. Very Comfy beds. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect balance to chill out on the beach but, also take in the sites of the south of Sri Lanka. Thank you very much!

Awesome view. Try to get room on first floor (it has 10 rooms, 5 on first floor), you will have pool facing with ocean in front Breakfast is good. Pool and rooms are clean. Location is good, 10 min ride to main mirrisa beach and market.

Food prices bit higher side.
