The location is absolutely amazing! Amazing room, comfortable and very big. The atmosphere of the hotel was fantastic, felt like being in a dream. Would revisit again! Staff was polite. We tried the wine tasting which was ok.

Such a hotel would benefit from a reception desk that remained open past 18.30. Also, an employee should help with the luggage, not at all convenient to carry luggage in stairs etc. Breakfast was ok but could definitely be better. Unfortunately, during our 2 days' stay we were not able to find availability to dine in the hotel, which was rather disappointing. We understand we should have booked in advance, but this was not clear to us when making the room reservation we though hotel guests would find a table to dine.

Excellent location. Amazing views of Chianti wine region. Staff was very helpful in giving us a list of activities and dining options in the nearby town. We did not eat at their Michelin ranked restaurant as the quantity of food portions was much to small for the price. The stayed in one of the apartment guest rooms with its own kitchen. I recommend buying a bottle of wine from the wine bar and going on the full wine tour and tasting. The tour guide was great and their wine excellent. I would recommend visiting the medieval town San Gimignano and hiking around that area.

Stingy with the Nespresso coffee packets. We were told you only get 1 per person per day. We had to buy more at the wine bar for 1 Euro a piece. Give me a break.

EVERYTHING was EXCEPTIONAL. It is a magical place in magical part of Tuscany..food at Osteria 1126 is amazing. Raphaela and Angela are amazing hosts. All the staff..really cannot even nitpick !..if you go to Tuscany, book your stay here. Wish we had stayed more days !

We liked everything.

The villa we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. The pool is absolutely amazing. Spotless, incredible views, quiet, shaded trellis area if needed. Fantastic breakfast and impeccable service at the wine bar.

Wifi connection was very spotty. We didn't really get reception in our villa. The food for dinner tasted amazing but service was rough. I am from the U.S. and I know our culture is different when it comes to length of meals, but I shouldn't have to wait 45 minutes between each course. Our wine glasses were empty for most of the meal because nobody stopped by our table between servings. You could have made another $50.00 per meal on wine if someone would have just checked on us. If we were aware of this, we would have purchased a bottle. We were there for over 3 hours each night we dined. 2nd time we didn't want to wait for desert because the previous night it took an hour to order and have it served. The restaurant missed out on 2 deserts and 2 desert wines. Another $50.00 on this meal. Most of the people were from Europe in the restaurant and they all looked miserable waiting for their food and checks.

Everything, the view, the room, the pool. We had an apartment to ourselves, it was beautifully set out. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere.

Just to be prepared that there is only one small restaurant, you need a car to drive into town for food and supplies. Otherwise the location is great
