Splendid breakfast, comfortable and spacious room, kind staff facility in a green surrounding

The location was so good. The room was exrtaordinary. And the room service was good too. The bus stop was right infront of the property with frequent buses t o the city centre. The breakfast was good as well. I would be staying here if ever I will be coming back to Jena.

Everything was good, but there could have a kettle to boil the water in case one needs. This is really optional.

Hotel parking was fine

Room furniture was very old, breakfast was suprisingly poor, I would epect better choice considering the price I payed.

The hotel was very charming and a great find compared to price. I walked to town every morning. (15 minutes) via a very nice park setting. Having the brewery/restaurant next-door was great. I only ate in town just to test it. The food 15 meters from the outer door was great.

Nothing negative to say. If I ever visit Zeiss in Jena again, I will go to the same hotel!

Good sized room with a table and a desk. The restaurant is good and offers traditional Thuringian cuisine as well as other options.

Despite me changing the reservation over the phone immediately after spotting a problem, and being assured it was dealt with, it turned out not to be true on arrival. The staff reacted quickly, but it was not necessary. Breakfast was generally not satisfactory, very basic, and not nicely presented. My vegan option (the availability of which I confirmed with the hotel) turned out to be rolls and jam.
