My mom and I had an incredible time at Satin Doll. The staff there were ever so helpful and proactive to ensure we had everything we could possibly want. The property is gorgeous with lots of seating areas and chairs. We would usually start our morning with a big French press of coffee on the outdoor couches, go for a walk on the beach and return for a late breakfast/brunch. We shared a curry for dinner two nights which was excellent. My expectations were low for the beach due to other reviews but when the tide is out in the morning it’s easy to walk to Dalawella and Unawatuna beach from the hotel. This hotel was a splurge for us and exceeded every expectation. Book for luxury, relaxation, style, service and beachfront location!
