Great staff, Robert (Venezuelan) and his wife are so nice and friendly. Super responsive. Love the terrace, vast view of the ocean. The beach is quiet and rarely populated. Nice breakfast prepared by Robert’s wife. You get to meet other travelers thru the terrace. I really liked the store onsite with essentials like water, toothpaste, shampoo, pantry items - it made things so much more convenient. Mosquito net in bedroom was lifesaver. Good hot shower. Very clean room and comfy bed. Excellent wifi and even a small office for remote work! Came in so handy when I had a day of work calls.

There was a bit of a sewage smell in my room that I eventually got used to. Also the first night I arrived there was a big cockroach on the headboard of my bed. I told Robert the next morning and he kindly checked all inches of my bed for it but didn’t find it so I was afraid of seeing it again the rest of my stay. Location is fine because everything is very accessible but just keep in mind it’s a 20 min walk from Mancora Beach and 20 min tuk tuk from Las Pocitas so you have to travel to get to the popular areas. I would stay again if I could be guaranteed there are no cockroaches in my room!

Die Location ist einfach nur toll! Gleich neben einer guten Kyteschule. Es gibt eine öffentliche Terrasse mit einem kleinen Bistro, das auch Frühstück serviert. Man kann eine öffentliche Dusche benutzen nach dem Strandtag. Die Küche ist auch super ausgestattet. Das Zimmer hat alles was man braucht, inklusive Mosquitonetz. Robert und seine Crew sind super freundlich und helfen bei allem was man braucht. Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt. Herzlichen Dank!

Die Zimmer könnten öfters gereinigt werden (derzeit nur 1x pro Woche). Wenn man bedenkt, dass das Toilettenpapier in den Mülleimer geworden wird, könnte zumindest dieser alle zwei Tage entleert werden. Ein zusätzlicher Mülleimer im Zimmer wäre super. Hin und wieder gab es etwas unangenehme Gerüche im Zimmer und draußen. Einmal ist das Frühstück ausgefallen, ohne dass es uns vorab mitgeteilt wurde - wäre super, wenn dies zeitgerecht kommuniziert werden könnte, damit man sich nach Alternativen umsehen kann.

The location right on the beach is amazing! The kitchen was really good and had everything we needed including a little shop we could buy ingredients from! The bar was great value for money and you can enjoy a drink at sunset. Staff were so friendly.

There was a slight smell coming from the back of the property that came into our room but it wouldn’t put us off coming back again at all!

The hotel is located at Playa El Amor. Playa El Amor is quiet and beautiful, not too crowded. Furthermore, the hotel is located in front of the beach.

There is no Breakfast included. Also, there are a few party hostels on the same street. Be careful if you don´t like the noise (Only on Thursdays)

We had a great stay in the hostel, the room was nice and very clean. The kitchen is well equiped, and cleaned continuously during the day. The staff is super kind and helpfull. And then there’s the location, the terrace is right at the beach so you can enjoy the sunset from there. And if you’re staying here during the right season you can see whales from the terrace!! We saw them twice during our 4 day stay!

This is the best place if you want to relax. We had a great time at Mancora Beach House. German and Robert are great hosts who are always happy to help, have a chat and help you learn Spanish. Really a super nice relaxing place!!!!!

the Mancora Beach House is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sea. for those who like to cook by them self, the kitchen is well equipped. if you need help with anything they will always help you and make you stay good.

We had the simple yet beautiful apartment at the top. Direct access to the beach, good mosquito net, nice bathroom, functional kitchen. Towels were there, too. The ventilators did good service. Robert and Edimir work incredibly hard to always provide the best experience for their guests. They have a small kiosk which is not expensive and always come up with creative solutions if something needs to be fixed. They clean frequently. They also speak English and are always there for advice or a small chat.

Normally, it doesn't rain in Máncora, but this time it did, which made thousands of big beetles and crickets emmerge at night. These beetles stink when you step on them. Even though we tried our best to keep them out, they always found ways back in, also into our clothes - the smell was always there. This was the case in the whole city, not only at our apartment, but it made the situation a bit difficult. Robert tried everything to keep them out, changed the color of the mosquito nets, sprayed, put sand sacks up etc. - Nothing to complain about the hosts or the place itself. If I would go back, I would stay at this apartment again, but I would not go again when it is raining. :) All in all, it was still a good experience.

Extremely cozy atmosphere directly at the beautiful beach spot “Playa del amor” which truly deserves its name. Nice surroundings including some great restaurants, little shops, further activities in neighboring hostels like Billard or surf lessons. Kitchen was always in excellent shape and has a small shop included for daily needs like milk, pasta or water with very fair pricing. Rooms were beautiful too and are well equipped, in addition to that the chill out area at the beach front makes it easy to mentally arrive in your holiday time. Dog and cat of the house are absolute candy and are only outperformed by the crew of the hostel which made our time truly unforgettable. Thank you Robert and Edemir and keep it up guys, you’re the best!

We have been staying for 14 days, we had a great time over there, the stafs are very nice and funny. The place is very clean. Close to the beach, we met Nice people, and its quiet the which was important for us. I defenotly recommend the MBH We really liked the little shop to. Which are more cheaper then other places. They have an nice dog and a lovely cat! Thank you guys grt

We were supposed to stay for only three nights, but ended up staying for nine nights because we loved it so much. The place was perfect for us: it was right next to the beach but also had easy access to all services of Mancora. The staff was amazing and made us feel like home. Highly recommend!!

it doesn’t get more “on the beach” than this. Beautiful location, 10 minute stroll from the centre, run by a group of incredible people. Kitchen is well equipped and they even have a work area and super fast internet if you are looking for a place for remote work. Highly recommend!

Amazing location next to the quiet beach and short walk/tuk tuk ride to the town. Room had mosquito net and hot shower. Well equipped kitchen and nice common area with terrace and hammocks. Lovely staff (amazing customer service!!) and cute pets. We could hear the waves to our bed.

The Staff were amazing! All you could hear at night was the sound of the waves!

At low tide very easy to walk to the main beach but at high tide it’s quite long to get to the main beach via the roads…you can always take a Moto taxi which takes 5 minutes

The staff (Edimir and Robert) are very friendly and nice!

There are a lot of dead animals (sea lions, turtles, birds) at the beach.

The Staff (Edemir and Robert (the Venezuelan Robert - I did not meet the Australian Robert ) were exceptional. They were pleasant, fun to chat with, interesting and interested -They sell stuff that you might need (water, coffee, beer,ect ) at a very, very competitive price - Beside the beach is nice -The lounge area overlooking the water is very nice -A few good restaurants neer by

-My main dislike was the city itself, reconsider visiting Mancora, it has very little to offer and it is quite an ugly city (nothing to do with the Beach House) -The road between the city and the beach house is dirty and ugly (1km or so) -Sewer smell in our room

I can not begin to describe how lovely this place right at the sea in Mancora is! the atmosphere is quiet and relaxed, the hosts are great and always willing to help and the location is perfect to get away from the busy party tourists in Mancora town but close enough to reach all you could desire (surf courses, shops, bars, restaurants, restaurants, parties). Whales jump up from the sea right in front of you, pelicans fly by and fish, people surf, waves roll in and out while you drink a bear in the sun and pet the dog and cat. We were really sad to have to leave after 5 days!!!
