Zimmer sehr sauber, Personal sehr freundlich.... Top Lage

Ich habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt und würde da jederzeit wieder übernachten. Unkomplizierter Check in/ Check out. Sehr freundlicher Besitzer, saubere Zimmer, gutes Frühstück und mega Aussicht.

Perfect little hotel over a traditional German bakery. First-row views over the lake from your private balcony. Clean and modern rooms, which is not always a given in Germany. Very well planned out and comfortable. The breakfast was marvellous and very varied (the bread!), free coffee for guests in the hotel area. The staff were super helpful and friendly, although it was not clear to us at first where to check in (FYI: at the café itself).

Would be nice to have a fridge in the room. :) Mind, it does not have air conditioning, but the nice breeze from the lake makes all the difference. The room was nice and cool, even though it was 30C outside. The parking in front of the hotel is pretty small, but you can also park at a bigger hotel close-by.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was amazing. The most important thing was the view, it was breathtaking and exceptional.

Wir hatten einen sehr erholsamen Aufenthalt. Die Lage des Hotes ist perfekt, direkt am See und sehr ruhig. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und gemütlich. Die Mitarbeiter/innen waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war umfangreich und uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Die Atmosphäre im Hotel war entspannt und wir haben uns wohlgefühlt. Wir kommen wieder!!

Unser Zimmer hatte einen schönen Balkon mit Blick auf den Rursee. Das Frühstücksbüffet war reichhaltig.

The restaurant was closed in the evenings as it is a coffee and cake place rather the a complete restaurant. It was a shame as it was a wonderful location

The location of the hotel is great. The area around the hotel is beautiful an quiet. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is also good.

The rooms do not have air conditioning so it can get warm in the evening.

The location is the main feature of this hotel. It's just near the lake and the ferry boat pick-up point. The hotel is very clean, it has a small communal room with a good coffee maker and a well equipped mini-bar. The clean and well kept bathroom had a great shower, with plenty of room for toiletries. The included breakfast was absolutely delicious. Fresh bread of all sorts, eggs, bacon, muesli, juices, tea and coffee as much as you like. Most important: the bed we had was really comfortable.

The only downside was that upon arrival we were told that the room we booked didn't have a lake view, but a street view. This was a disappointment, since we've booked this room for a birthday occasion. But since we've booked very last minute, this was apparently the last room available. The description on Booking says 'view', and in the pictures you see both a lake view from the balcony, as well as the street view. So you're not sure which you're getting. Be mindful of this.

Amazing location, lovely welcome although not many of the staff spoke English. Clean and comfy.

I still can't get used to not having a kettle in the room but tea and coffee available in the lounge 24/7.

The view from our room/bed was amazing - Directly to the lake. The staff in the kitchen was very friendly and provided extra/different food for my dietary limitation (just let them know in advance).

1. The design of the room is very old. 2. The radiator in our room was making very loud noises so we turned it off (we didn't alert the hotel about it). 3. The official pictures of the hotel aren't representative anymore as the lake dried up a lot. 4. There aren't any restaurants open in the evening that are close to the hotel, and even the ones that are within driving distance you should book in advance - The staff could have warned us in advance or upon arrival.

The breakfast was great! Very quiet, comfortable rooms with lake view. Big and wide bed. The staff does excellent job! Thanks a lot!

No elevator

Superb location at the lake, and small ferry terminal. Sufficient on site parking. Good starting point for walks in the Eifel national park. Modern room with basic amenities. Great breakfast buffet, as it's a coffee and cake shop during the day. Friendly staff.

Make sure to absolutely check in before 1800. All staff leave just after 1800. Limited dining options in the neighborhood.
