Clean, comfortable, and well-equipped.

The code we were given to open the electronic lock was incomplete and we had to call the host for clarification.

The location was really close to the beach, easy key access, the house was clean and was able to accommodate our stay. The orange couch was our favorite.

The house was super cute, the beds super comfortable, and the kitchen space great to cook in for a family. The homeowners have a very unique style of decorating a beach house but it was very fun and the house was spotless. T. There was also a BBQ on the back deck that was nice. The house is walking distance to the beach, which was very convenient.

Sadly, when we arrived, we figured out that the house was on a main road. Not being from around the area, this was something we were very unaware of and it was not shown in any of the photos. The road noise was terrible in the master bedroom since it at the front of the house. When we called to complain to the rental company, they offered us a box fan to drown out the sound. This was extremely frustrating and a very sad way to offer help. Also, the photos do not show it, but the back yard is visible from 7 other neighboring houses. We thought the back deck would be private but is is NOT private at all and we would have probably chosen a different house because of it, had we known before booking. It didn't help that while booking, there was a glitch in the system and they tried to charge us a $700 cleaning fee (the cost for an entire month when we were only staying 4 nights). So when we asked for a discount because of the road noise and the lack of privacy in the back yard (falsely advertised in the photos as private), they said they couldn't discount us anymore because they had already discounted us their cleaning fee mistake. I would like to say that our frustrations are solely with booking.com and Meredith Lodging, and not with the homeowners or the home itself. We just felt like these companies were very difficult to work with and misleading in their advertising.
