Terrific host - responsive, friendly, honest Deciding what to bring? Don't bother, everything you need is there. Everything very clean - house, furniture, sheets, towels...all clean and in good shape.

Had a great time with our dogs. Marie was very helpful. We really enjoyed our time.

My family enjoyed this beach house! It was comfortable, roomy, private and the view from the deck watching the sunsets was amazing. The beach was just across the street and also private. Parking was not a problem. The neighbors were very friendly . The owner was very nice to deal with and it was a comfort to know that she was available if there were any questions. My husband, dog, and I enjoyed our stay here very much. The kitchen has nice dishes and flatware, the bed is made up with colorful sheets, and for me the enclosed front porch was the perfect reading room. The house had a lovely calming effect on me, just what I needed for a week's getaway!

Lovely, clean cottage steps from the beach and close to all of the area's best seafood restaurants. Grocery store just around the corner. Loved the location, and the cottage had everything we needed.

My wife and I (and our dogs!) have been staying here for a week every summer for many years. We love it and that's why we keep coming back. It's so peaceful and quiet and we are truly able to "refuel" during our stays there. We haven't even looked to stay anywhere else since coming upon this find! We'll definitely be back...

I stayed in this house for the 2015-16 academic year. It is an absolutely beautiful spot and a terrific location - sunrises in the morning, sunsets in the evening, right across the street from the Sound - and yet only a few minutes from shopping, restaurants etc. The house is spotless, comfortable, and very well equipped with everything you'd need, and Marie, the owner, is extremely helpful and kind.

This was our first time renting a beach cottage for our family vacation. The experience we had with Marie, the house, the beach, the community and everything else was absolutely perfect! It started with a warm friendly greeting from Marie. Then the cottage came with all the amenities listed and then some! It was so nice having 2 different areas for 2 groups of people to do different things, watch different shows, etc. The cleanliness and open floor plan was so nice. The beds were very comfortable and abundance of pillows and blankets was perfect! Central air was such a nice bonus. When it was cool we loved all the windows and fans for plenty of fresh air. The private scenic view from the back porch was priceless and where we spent quite a bit of time watching wildlife. Three Ospreys perched and slept every night in a tree 20 ft. from the porch. All the different birds, squirrels and even some rabbits were so relaxing to watch. In addition to the beautiful direct view of the sunset. The closeness of the ocean was incredible. It was so relaxing sitting on the private beach at any hour and there not be people everywhere you look. Our 3 year old had a wonderful time collecting shells and pebbles and building sandcastles while we played with the sand beneath our toes. What was so thoughtful was that there were chairs and some toys on the beach, which means not having to bring ours back and forth! The neighborhood seemed so family oriented and quiet we did not have to be bothered by noisy young folks partying. Anything we needed to run out and get was conveniently close and easy to get to. This was a perfect, quiet, relaxing family vacation spot. Marie was so thoughtful in every way of prepping this cottage for renters! I would rate her and this cottage a 6 out of 5 stars if I could.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. The house came with everything we could have needed and then some. I never expected a dishwasher while on vacation! The beach was directly across the street and the marsh in back was full of wild life that we enjoyed watching. I would definitely return to this property if the occasion arose!
