Clean spacious room. This room was adjacent to the reception - and pool area. There was a wedding but this was timeously communicated on site should we experience any noise disturbance. A large paraplegic en suite present which compliments the spacious room for wheelchair purposes. Part of the Kimberley Diamand Hole Museum so could wander around the interesting sites. Travel with own car a necessity. No loadshedding - assuming due to the Kimberley Diamand Hole operations, i.e. water pumps etc. You can enjoy on site the restaurant facilities as well as the adjoining hotel as the guest house does not offer restaurant facilities.

Nothing but if you are a light sleeper remember this is in the old part of time thus passing by traffic, people visiting museum, restaurants and functions might not be too you liking. I am but it did not bother me at all.

New Rush Guest House was perfect for our stay over in Kimberley. The layout of the two rooms that we booked worked so well for our family of 5. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The location is super if you intend on visiting the Big Hole and the town museum was an amazing experience for our whole family.

The fact that we were sleeping right there at all the old shops and big hole. We could feel history all around us.

We loved staying in the reconstructed miners village and having it all to ourselves. The security was a definite plus as well.

There was no one to check us in. The only time we met any staff was when we checked out the following morning. The lady that chatted with us was lovely. The weather was not fantastic so we decided to spend the evening watching a little tv. Unfortunately the channels were so restricted we could only watch a movie that was at least 10 years old. For the amount we paid you would expect Netflix, Prime or other streaming services.

The room is very spacious, well appointed and very clean . The location is excellent.

The location is fantastic. I loved the fact that we could wander around the old town and take in all the rich history. The room is basic but has everything that you need.

It would be handy to have a caddy in the shower to store toiletries.

Although the rooms are basic, they are comfortable. it’s a lovely stop over.

Location, location, location and the awesome and friendly staff. Always accommodating, polite and very friendly. Will definitely stay there again. Loved it.

There was no shower or bath mat, basin is in the room instead of the toilet. Otherwise everything else was clean and all the basics were available.

The beds were the only thing that was good!

No Water , but they have JoJos. We requested the Manager to assist and he was very rude! I was told that i'm causing issues with the staff when asking them to provide basic water from the JoJo! The after hour support person who was quite rude , advised that the Jojo provides the whole facility but each section of the facility has its own JoJo as per staff at the restaurant and gift shop! This after hour support person needs training handling clients and needs behaviour training.
