Not far from the old town

To start off, a lady called Marina who came to supposedly give us a warm welcome. She came in a rush, spoke quickly, didn’t give us much details except to text her if necessary but when later I did so, she barely answered. She said that the safe wasn’t working as other guests had taken the key. That was in another comment and it wasn’t repaired. Wifi was not working and she directly didn’t answer my message when I texted her about it. The wifi info wasn’t in the apartment and she took 5 hours to send it to me. The garbage from the previous guests wasn’t taken away, there were no kitchen towels and the kitchen seemed to be the one of a camping site, everything was different and some things missing like tea spoons. The apartment wasn’t clean, there was hair all over and dust on the floor. The table was sticky. The sofa was extremely hard and uncomfortable to sleep on. The sheets were not even the size of neither the sofa nor the double bed. The pillows were just a decoration, they seemed to be for a dog s kennel. The bed cover were shabby and dirty. The beach nearby is horrible and full of people. Please think about paying to stay here. READ ALL THE COMMENTS BEFORE. I ignored one which is exactly what I have experienced. The pics on booking are not what you see inside. BE CAREFUL. This is by far neither Chic nor deluxe!

The bed for 3rd person was extremely uncomfortable.

Very nice apartment close to the tourist area of Split. Easy walk to the waterfront and restaurants. Good on site parking.

The property needed maintenance as one Air conditioner did not work and windows and some other aspects needed attending to. The internet was so slow we couldn’t use it. Still a good apartment, but it reduced the value for money aspect.

This apartment is nicely done - very fresh and modern and spaceous. Located in a quiet area, a walkable distance from the old town, but it's uphill all the way to the apartment. When the AC is on, it's good. Once we reminded the host that they had agreed to arrange airport transfer, they arranged very good airport transfer. Still (read below) - I would never recommend you rent this apartment. I thought I spent a little bit more to get a nice experience but it didn't work out that way.

I will try to describe my gripes as objectively as possible. 1. We were told we would be met at the apartment but were not. Instead, we were left waiting in the heat, after a long hot walk with luggage, for 20 minutes before getting a text that the key was under the carpet. This doesn't sound like a lot of time but when you don't know how long it's gonna be, it feels long. We also had a family member that needed to get out of the heat asap. 2. The apartment was not well cleaned. Bed were not made. There were a pile of sheets on the sofa, but some were missing, some were very damp, bordering on wet, and some had big yellow stains and most felt very worn. The host returned when we were out to dinner to give us the missing ones. 3. All doors and windows need to be closed for the AC to start. I knew this. Sounds like a good idea. Except one of the balcony doors has a broken handle and the other has a very well hidden switch you need to flip to be able to close it. The broken handle needs to be closed in a particular way and then shoved upwards as hard as you can before the AC can be turned on. This took me about an hour to figure out, during which time my contact person did very little to help me, except ask me to send photos of the doors and give unhelpful suggestions. You'd think they could have told me about the switch at least. 4. This apartment is getting zero love. No thought goes into what you might need in a kitchen (bunch of mismatched old stuff) or bathroom (almost no hooks or shelves) and no information at all about how things work in the apartment (which would have been great, considering the balcony doors). It feels like an agency that handles a bunch of apartments and don't really care. It may not be the case but that what it feels like. I have rented A LOT of apartments in this area. I can't recall a place that ever frustrated me this much. There are other places to stay - pick one of them and save yourself the grief.

Very comfortable and clean. The host was very accomodating with allowing us to store luggage securely until the room was available. The host also accommodated an early checkin very easily, and provided great information regarding surrounds and recommendations

Really modern and big apartment! Would definitely stay there again ☺️
