Stunning views. Beautiful house, rustic but finished to a very high degree. Mosquito screens which I appreciate as I have very bed reactions to being bitten. The location is fantastic. Very quiet village but had a cafe and a shop. Great communication with the owner who allowed us to arrive very late at night. He sent us local attractions and was very quick to respond to questions.

I was travelling with my son but the property owner presumed I was with a partner with whom I share a bed. I booked it because it had two bedrooms, but when we arrived very late at night one of the bedrooms was locked! My son had to sleep on a sofa bed which we had to sort out. The owner did respond very quickly the next day and sent a lovely lady to open the other bedroom. However, if you book a property with two-bedrooms that is what you expect! Some couples sleep separately anyway and I don't think this should cause a problem if you book a two-bedroom house you should get two bedrooms. The owner mentioned price and people booking for two people when they have more people staying. I travel with my son regularly but have only had this problem in hotels where you have to specify twin beds. Obviously I will make sure in future to make owners aware of our situation. Steep small hill and lots of steps in the property, shower great but small door, not for very big people. Master bedroom had poor mattress. No microwave and the "washing machine" was modern but something invented in the 1930s with no spinner. I could recommend the owner to supply a 'spinner' to wring out clothes.
