The bed and the pillow menu...that pillow that was in the wardrobe was the best pillow I've ever had in a hotel

Spa full of kids jumping and splashing and sploshing about...even tho it is not completly the hotels fault, the spa area wasn't relaxing at all. Also we were considering a massage but no staff around when we checked for a long time

The hotel was like finding a hidden treasure. Not much to look at from the street, then you find the passage and the entrance to a really lovely foyer with seats, check-in desk and bar. The area by the pool was also beautiful and we were disappointed that we couldn't try the pool as it was a bit cold. The area was very central and the town had so much history. The standard twin room had much more space that anticipated.

The room smelled musty, the wallpaper was peeling due to having no extractor fan in the bathroom which of course caused mold in the bathroom. The shower was huge but was blocked so the water would run into the bathroom. We found 2/3 small cockroaches near the coffee machine and under the desk. The lunch we had on the first day was so awful that my daughter left a whole burger, so we decided not to spend 19 euros for breakfast and instead went into the village and found a great place (Tribe - much cheaper) . During our 1st night stay the fire alarm went off at 4am and when we left the room it stopped. When we informed the front desk on our way out for the day we were told, very casually, that it was most likely someone smoking in the room above and that it happens often. Not much of an apology so we really didn't bother raising any other concerns as we got the impression nothing would be done about it.

Single room was very small but very comfortable Indoor pool…a nice bonus!

Große Räume, Bad mit Licht, gemütliches Bett, Personal war nett Schön angelegter Außenpool

Im Zimmer waren die Badamaturen locker (Handtuch- und Klopapierrollen Halterung). Der Duschkopf jat in alle Richtungen gespritzt weil er so verkalkt war, der Wasserkocher war nicht gereinigt von dem Vorbesitzer, der Schalter des Nachtlichts war defekt. Zwar wurden 3 von 5 Dingen direkt behoben als wir sie genannt haben aber es sind die Kleinigkeiten die zählen und hier waren leider zu viele Kleinigkeiten, die nicht gepasst haben. Der Spa Bereich ist sehr klein und dunkel, da er im Keller liegt. man kann die Sauna nur mit Aufpreis nutzen, was so aus der Hotelbeschreibung nicht direkt lesbar war. Also als Spa Hotel würde ich es persönlich nicht bezeichnen. Auch bleiben am Pool liegengelassene Handtücher und leere Gläser von der Bar zu lange unaufgeräumt stehen. Die kleine Oase am Pool mit den vielen Pflanzen ist sehr schön, es ist jedoch auch ebenfalls ein Mückenmagnet. Daher muss man unbedingt an Mückenspray denken!!! All in all: für den Preis einfach zu teuer.

Ruhige Lage. In der Umgebung waren einige Gastrooptionen (gute Cafe's, Möglichkeiten zum Abendessen) und eine höher frequentierte Bushaltestelle. Ort war Zentral auf der Insel (mit dem Bus nach Mdina ca. 30 Minuten, mit dem Bus nach Valetta ca. 30 Minuten). Sehr nettes Personal. Super Dusche.

Hochpreisiges Essen. Tür zum Bad ging am ersten Tag sehr schwergängig (wurde aber dann gerichtet). Vom Badezimmer her, schien es am Morgen recht hell. in das Zimmer. Aber wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub. :-)

The rooms are gorgeous, very nicely designed and the bunk beds are perfect for a family with kids. Staff all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is cut off, you feel like you can really relax and unwind.

The pool area is cute and feels like a sanctuary, but when it's full up, the pool does feel slightly crammed. But still a lovely and relaxing set up.
