Staying away from home is typically hard for me. I have owned and operated a high end Furniture store with interior design clients for over twenty five years , so finding something that attracts me is really hard. This home has the WOW factor that I appreciate . You can tell that Linda put in so much love and energy into this home to make sure your experience would be lovely. She is really a kind lady and really cares for her clients. I will be coming back to stay at this property . We also loved walking to the springs for a swim it's magical there and I highly recommend checking out this spot. I loved all the textures in her selection of lighting fixtures and accessories as well . Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful, whimsical spot !

We came for a weekend visit with our daughter & grandkids, and it was a perfect weekend! The house is so relaxing, like an oasis - and the layout is so impressive! Relaxing beds and couches, beautiful decor and functional kitchen. The location is steps away from the Barton Creek Pool, where we could just pop over & also near great food places. Truly a gem in Austin!

What a wonderful stay! Spacious! Beautiful decor! Lovely views of famous pecan tree and Barton Springs entrance from the deck. Our teenagers also loved it. Our dogs have never been happier! Long walks in the park & refreshing swim in the springs. Museums & fabulous restaurants close by. Lisa was amazing. We can’t wait to come back!

Well, the interior of the house is jaw-dropping. Airy and exotic dreamy. Eye-catching details everywhere you look!
Oh, and the wonderful, peaceful deck overlooks Zilker Park.
It has a captivating, far-away resort feel. Right in the thick of the coolest action in awesome Austin.
Walking distance to all sorts of outdoorsy stuff, including scads of pretty walking trails along the springs.
Lots of fun restaurants just down the road.

We rented this charming house for our family to stay during our son's graduation. It comfortably housed six adults. Walking distance to Zilker Park, Lady Bird Trail and fun restaurants. We hope to have family stay here again during their next visit and will recommend it to others. LOVED IT!

We had an absolutely incredible stay at the Glass Treehouse. The pictures really didn't do it justice. The location couldn't have been more perfect as well - just a quick walk to the Barton Springs/Creek, and a short Uber ride into Downtown Austin. The best of both worlds! Lisa was super accommodative and a great communicator - made an early check-in/late check-out happen for our group. Hope to be able to stay there again soon.

What a magical place in the best location. We stayed here with family to celebrate my mom’s 70th. Our host, Lisa, was great, had plenty of suggestions, and so responsive. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. Such nice evenings on the patio watching the sunset and great days exploring the neighborhood. Definitely would recommend!

We were in Austin with a few family members for our son’s UT graduation. This home was the perfect place to hang out between events. Awesome large backyard patio to hang out on with great views. Very serene and peaceful and quiet. The hostess Lisa was very responsive when we had questions. We will definitely be staying here again when we are in Austin. Thank you!

A group of five 50 + women stayed in the treehouse for a 3 night visit to Austin from Boston. One of the best VRBOs I have stayed in. The location is ideal and the outdoor feel of the property goes with all that goes on within steps of the front door. So many hiking/biking and swimming options literally steps away. It's rare to find such a tranquil, Zen-like atmosphere without leaving the city, but in this absolute gem of a home, I found complete rest and relaxation while still enjoying the amenities of beautiful Austin right at our doorstep.

Our extended family enjoyed the space, comfort and location. Clean and comfortable with space to stretch out for all of us. The deck was lovely and comfortable. Easy walk to Barton sprigs for kayaking and swimming. Close to great restaurants in the neighborhood and just a short drive to everything Austin.

We’ve stayed in many VRBO properties, but hands down, THIS place far exceeded our expectations by a landslide! The pictures are fantastic, but it’s even better in person! The ability to walk to so many activities was just the icing on the cake. The property is as described- well cared for, beautiful, spacious. The bedrooms are outfitted well with comfortable beds and comfortably sized bathrooms. Towels, blankets, bedding, cookware, coffee - thanks for setting us up so well.
The outdoor opportunities here are endless- it was difficult to decide between being in the house and enjoying all the activities in Barton Springs. We had good meals nearby and utilized the Bcycle to bike around town. I already miss Thom's breakfast burritos. Uber never took more than 10 minutes for longer trips.

This house is insanely awesome, every aspect and detail is so unique and beautiful, we wanted to stay at the house more than go explore the city, it was that awesome! The view is beautiful and the porch is out of this world. The host is amazing and super helpful! i will be back and would recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Austin!

On our third day, there was a plumbing issue that meant relocating to another bedroom and losing use of 2 of our 4 bathrooms. Lisa responded quickly, the problem was repaired and she sent a nice basket of treats which my grandsons quickly devoured. I was given a refund for the days we were inconvenienced. The living areas (indoors and outside) are beautiful.

Great place, fun decor, wonderful view of the city Christmas tree. It was like every one of our wants, expectations were fulfilled. We walked along the lake and enjoyed the people and the views. Instead of leaving the ambiance of this wonderful place, we ordered delivery from True Foods for one of our meals. Perfect, delicious and on time. Made all the rest of our meals in the well equipped kitchen. The large decks were great and the weather made it possible for relaxing breakfasts. We will come back!

My family loved staying in this naturalistic, light-filled “treehouse” situated atop a hill overlooking the beautiful Zilker Park and a short walk to Barton Springs as well as the Umlauf sculpture garden. Great location and marvelous artsy vibe made for a restorative stay. The host was so responsive and a pleasure to work with. We look forward to returning very soon!

We loved the treehouse for our group of friends. We stayed in a few nights because it was so enjoyable to hang on the patio. Everything was super smooth and Lisa is super easy to communicate and work with. Would definitely recommend for all kinds of groups/families. Just not a raging party house.
