We loved staying at this cabin during our ski trip, excellent location, beautiful cabin, warm & cozy, private yet close to everything. Only 2 suggestions-1- hot tub should feel cleaner, there were pieces from hot tub cover floating in. 2- It would be nice to have more plush towels. Would definitely stay again.

Cabin is absolutely beautiful! Super clean with new cabin feel! The location is perfect and close to the mountain for skiing. Will be back!!!

Clean spacious and comfortable cabin which we expected. I hope they provide us a full roll of good quality paper towel and at least two full rolls of toilet paper. We were left with 1/2 roll of cheap paper towel and 2 pcs of 1/4 roll of toilet papers. We have to buy our own. We are paying full price, I hope this is a consideration. A chopping board will be useful.

This is a very nice cabin for 2-4 people (upstairs loft is just a bunk bed fyi) in a great location close to Banner Elk. We would stay here again, but would hope that some details are better attended to. We noticed at least 4 light bulbs in the cabin that were out, a small deal obviously, but it speaks to attention to detail. The kitchen, while generally well stocked, was missing some items like a cutting board (I tried to slice veggies on a glass plate before reverting to a plastic place mat) and actual matching lids for the various pots/pans in the cupboard. Also was annoyed that is no way to view regular over the air broadcast TV signals for Sunday football/world cup... if you have a 65 inch TV and internet service you can also afford a $50 antenna for HD OTA signals. Sadly this is a trend in many rental properties - just use roku/streaming and forget the rest...

The wooded, mostly secluded lot was great. Convenient to area activities. Clean, comfortable place. Loved the fireplace and hot tub.

Plenty of kitchen utensils, plates, cups, mugs and 2 coffee pots (i is like a Mr Coffee and the other is a K-cup). We not only loved the cabin but also the community. Be cautious on the road up to the cabin because it had so many sharp curves that our GPS was dizzy.

This was a very clean and comfortable vacation home. It was 5 mins from skiing but felt like we had our own space on the mountain. The fireplace and hot tub were perfect after a day on the slopes.

The cabin was in a quiet neighborhood. It was close to Sugar Mountain and downtown Banner Elk. The cabin was very charming and they even put up decorations as we spent Christmas there. Fire pit and hot tub were a bonus!!!

Lovely little cabin for my kids first mountain ski experience! Hot tub was a great bonus. Had everything you needed in a quaint setting! 4wd in snow season a must! We will be back!

This cabin was perfect for us and our friends while here for a wedding. After reading other reviews and having stayed at many rentals the past few years, I was nervous about cleanliness. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean this place was! Very well organized in the kitchen cabinets also! We definitely took advantage of the hot tub and fire pit! I really felt at home here. Beautiful house in a gorgeous area!

This is a good cabin if you find it at the right price. The location is pretty good. There is a grocery store a few minutes down the road if you need anything. The hot tub isn't covered so if it's raining/snowing hard you may not be able to use it. Luckily it just sprinkled on us so it was pretty good with the cool rain actually. The furniture could use an upgrade. The chair next to the couch is very worn out. The couch is OK. The bed is a little too firm for me but I'm sure it's fine for most people. I liked that the decorating was fairly minimal so the cabin didn't feel overly cluttered with themed junk crammed in every spot they could find like a lot of other rental cabins. It seemed very clean for the most part. It smelled very clean when we walked in. The only thing we saw was a few cobwebs above the shower but it wasn't really a problem.. I've seen worse in these cabins before. They really should spend an extra $20 a month and put HD channels on the cable package instead of just standard definition. It rained a lot on our trip so many of the outdoor stuff we planned got canceled and we spent a decent amount of time in the cabin watching tv, cooking, and using the hot tub. If you're going to put an HD TV in the cabin, provide HD channels. It's 2021. A lot of light bulbs were blown. None of the bulbs in the upstairs room worked. And a few others didn't work either. Since we didn't need that room and were only gonna be there a couple days we didn't bother calling to have them replaced. They don't have outside dumpsters so you have to haul your trash to the community dump/recycling center a few miles down the road. Overall I would stay here again if the price is right.

Had a fantastic golf trip with this cabin as our home base. There are at least 4 golf courses within 20 min with sugar being a 2 min drive! Such a relaxing setting to come back to after a long day of activities. Clean and nice amenities. Will definitely be back.
