Agents were the worst I have ever dealt with in 50 years of travelling all around the world

dint have salt tho. should upgrade to smart tv cause wasn’t aware there is not Netflix as its now a standard to have it

The registration/check in process & the team at Holiday by the Bay were very professional, all instructions clear. Key pickup easy & organised. The property was extremely clean & nicely furnished. Light & bright. The kind of place where you feel comfortable knowing it's been properly looked after & cleaned, so you can just relax & treat it like home. Short drive to Shoal Bay & short walk to the beach.

The location was a big let down. We didn't realise we'd booked a house right on a busy main road. The master bedroom & living rooms are both at the front of the house, so this means whether your relaxing or sleeping, you're hearing cars zipping by every 15-30 seconds. Just not what we had in mind for a relaxing getaway. Also, not a very charming feeling overall as the houses on either side are a bit rundown & charmless. If budget is your main consideration & you're after something cheap & cheerful, it's still a good pick as it is comfortable, clean & light & bright inside & it is a convenient location in terms of proximity to Fingal Beach & a short drive to Shoal Bay. It's just not our idea of a relaxing get away to be on a main road hearing cars all the time & the whole feeling of the street made us feel like we were in busy suburbia, not at the beach.

It was a beautiful place to stay. It was very cosy feeling. The books, games and kids dvds were really handy and thoughtful. The coffee machine was a nice touch. The chromecast being set up was very handy thankyou.

Perhaps the toilet could do with an exhaust fan. The $200- hold on funds was not acknowledged on booking .com. There actually was linnen provided which was great but we packed our car with all linnen we thought we might need. We were unaware there could be other people renting the upper floor, it is marketed on booking.com like a whole premise.
