We were so happy we chose High Seas for our vacation! The house was so spacious and bright. The beds were huge and comfy. There was air conditioning in both bedrooms and the main room, and when it wasn't too hot out the doors let in a wonderful breeze. The kitchen was well equipped for all our cooking (and cocktail making) needs. We enjoyed sipping coffee on the deck and watching the sun rise over the Atlantic every morning. The location is nice and secluded, but we were able to get to all the central Eleuthera amenities easily.

House was the cutest beach cottage with an amazing view. Unfortunately, the weather was absolutely terrible which caused the power to go out for a few days and nights, as well as no running water. A generator would be nice as it sounds like the power goes out a lot, but Jackie was extremely accommodating throughout our whole stay! Also, Laura the housekeeper is a great person to have while staying there! Both Jackie and Laura made the experience well, even though the weather wasn’t ideal

This house was in the perfect location for exploring both the north and south sides of the island. The road to it was clear and in good shape, which is not always the case. Everything was clean and comfy, and the house had everything we needed for a successful trip!

The property’s cottage has an extraordinary view of the ocean as well as sunrise and sunset views! Loved to look up at the bright and beautiful stars each night. The air conditioning in all rooms was awesome. The cottage 2/2 was clean as a whistle. The power to cottage went out briefly twice but resolved quickly. Thank you Laura for your role in making our “Girls Trip” smooth and easy! Thank you Jackie for sharing your home with us❤️❗️

Very quiet, and central for exploring the island.

We had a wonderful week at High Seas. The location in Rainbow Bay was super, it is so near the lovely beach there. The cottage was secluded, comfortable and well-equipped with lots of towels, games, Netflix, and a nice large fridge.

We loved staying here. Jackie was so helpful and communicative, and got us hooked up with car (necessary on Eleuthra). We loved Rainbow Beach, which is a quick drive from the house, as well as eating at Delish (our favorite restaraunt). AC in the bedrooms works great -- and the view at night from the back deck was transcendent -- so many stars! Yes, Eleuthra is a bit "rustic" as an experience, but the property is lovely and the calm is addictive. Will definitely be trying to return.

My husband and I loved staying at High Seas! As this was our first time on Eleuthera, the location was perfect. It enabled us to explore the entire area. The view from the deck was breathtaking- both for sunrises and sunsets. We loved the Sunset Cove and Rainbow Room for supper/drinks and sunset views and friendly staff. Daddy Joe’s, near Gaulding Cay Beach, is a great place for drinks, lite bites and dinner with some dancing! Tippy’s and Poponi Beach are must visits. Be sure to try fresh fruits- pineapple , sugar apples, soursop, sapodilla, etc. We’d come home after our day’s adventure and sleep soundly in our comfy bed and awaken to the morning bird song! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I find it hard to put into words out trip to Eleuthera! We had been wanting to visit for over 5 years & it did not dissappoint. It was everything we expected & more! High Seas is exactly as advertised - great location, comfortable, clean & had everything we needed during our stay. Laura, who takes care of the property was super easy to deal with - we rented a car from her which was very reliable. We had gotten over to the island earlied then expected & she was quick to accomdate us. Jackie the owner was also super easy to comminicate with. We flew over on Westjet, who were positioned to strike the week before out trip & she was very understaning. Would highly recommend High Seas! Overall wonderful experience! Can't wait to go back

What a wonderful experience! The island of Eleuthera is magical! We loved our little yellow house - Jackie, the owner, was easy to communicate with and answered any questions we had. She set us up with our car rental also (thank you Laura!) The house was in a great central location, as it was not too far from many fantastic sights and beaches. The evenings were cool so we could open the windows and hear the waves crashing on the rocks below. The deck is awesome and we spent every morning out there with our breakfast and coffee. The house comes with kayaks, snorkeling equipment, beach chairs, cooler and many other items necessary for the beach which we took advantage of and thoroughly enjoyed. As my husband said, "Eleuthera is not for everyone, but if you want an adventure - GO!!" It will be well worth your while and an experience you will never forget! And oh yea, rent Jackie's house too!! :)

House is located in a quiet area of the island, on a street with very few other houses (I think two others) so it felt secluded and private. You can hear the Atlantic waves crashing from the balcony! House was very clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. Beds and couches were comfortable. Nice decor. Wi-fi worked great. The natural walk way up to the house is a little uneven and I think railings would be useful for the two sets of stairs to get to the front door (as a person with bilateral knee injuries I just took my time and was fine). Very glad for the bright outdoor lights at night. Had issues with closing the side doors to the porch on the first night. I was able to let Laura know and she sent someone to look at it. He said it was due to the high salted environment and some repairs needed to be done to accommodate. Of note there is a washer in the en suite bathroom with line drying outside at the side of the house. It was so nice having a large amount of clean drinking water available to us when we arrived. You do have to refill this and take out the trash upon departure (trash location is a few minutes drive south; was easy enough to find with the directions provided). Host Jackie was great with communication and provided a very helpful and detailed resource about the island. The Rainbow Room restaurant is a short 5-10 minute walk and it has great food (did not get any drinks) and nice staff. James Cistern neighborhood is about 10 minutes away (has conch stands, bars and restaurants with great views of the sunset). House is about 30 minutes away from Governors Harbor and about 20 minutes from glass window bridge. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property. I was able to find the HGTV episode on Discovery Plus: season 1 episode 12 (entitled “This is not Los Angeles”) of Bahamas Life. Was pretty cool to see this before we arrived!

The house is nice and we loved sitting on the back porch. The shrubs and trees block the ocean view but we could hear the waves crash. The island is long and skinny and this house is located in a central area away from noise and crowds. Really nothing is within walking distance which was a little disappointing. The beaches are really beautiful with crystal-clear, blue water but there is a lot of coral rock so there are only a few long beaches to walk on. It is difficult to access some of the better beaches because of lack of signage or good roads. Power and Internet are unreliable but you get use to it. It’s a gorgeous piece of paradise. Don’t miss Hatchet Bay Cave!

We very much enjoyed our third visit to Eleuthera! Rainbow Bay is perfectly located for visiting all parts of the island. House is an easy drive from North Eleuthera Airport. House itself is cozy and well stocked for all needs. Bed is very comfortable. Plenty of markets right nearby and nice restaurant with super owners and service right there in Rainbow Bay. Rope swings and hammock on the deck are very comfy! We recommended adding two loungers for couples who might want to sun on the deck. Also, view is a little obscured by the now overgrown trees/bushes behind the house but we were informed that is being taken care of soon and will open up the view again. Otherwise, a super house and experience! Jackie (Owner) and Laura (Caretaker) communicated very well and graciously arranged for a rental car for our week. Made it easy! Thanks for a great week’s stay!

This 2 bedroom home has it all. We loved our stay at High Seas. Jackie was so easy to communicate with and very quick to respond. The home is beautiful, in a quiet location and fully stocked with all the amenities a beach traveler would need. The large back patio is a great place to relax. Everyone on the island was so nice and helpful. It is a place we will definitely visit again.

The house was perfectly located and had more than everything we needed. Clean, very comfortable, spectacular views, total privacy and peace. We snorkeled, kayaked and/or swam every day. Beautiful sunsets from Rainbow Beach. I look forward to staying there again!! Jackie and Laura were great!!! Thank you!!

We were very impressed with the accommodations (sunny, clean and welcoming). The house book with details about the house, points of interest, stores and restaurants were on point. We truly had a wonderful time !!

This place was very beautiful and a lot of light throughout the entire house and a lot of space to hosts guests as well just wonderfully decorated inside and they give you a lot of amenities any where from snorkeling gear to kayaking extra towels for beach and spacious deck all around a lovely vacation place. This place isn’t far from the carribean beach or the Atlantic side . Jackie was always in perfect communication with me and was very helpful getting my car rental situation hooked up for me so I didn’t have to stress or worry about that this was a pleasant experience and will come again in future.

Because of COVID, It took us a couple of years to get to High Seas, but it was certainly worth the wait. The owner, Jackie, is a dream to work with and her property manager Laura also does a great job. This property, located in Rainbow Bay, is a perfect launch point for all of your adventures. Head north and you’ll quickly arrive at The Queen’s Bath and the Glass Bridge. Head south to continue your adventures at Governor’s Harbor and beyond. Right close by you can snorkel and kayak at beautiful Rainbow Beach. For dinner you can walk from High Seas down to our go to place for supper, the Rainbow Inn Restaurant. High Seas is a wonderful place to stay in beautiful Eluethera and we hope you’ll enjoy it as much as we did!

High Seas is well-equipped with beach gear, kitchen necessities and plentiful linens and towels. The serenity of being able to watch the sun rise and feel the ocean breeze, in a quiet residential area, is very relaxing. The proximity to dining options is great, the beach at Rainbow is fantastic, crystal clear water, sand bottom and colourful fish, we loved our stay!

High ceilings, large bedrooms and kitchen/ living room. Awesome deck with views of the Atlantic side. Enjoyed the hammocks. AC worked great. Kitchen was well stocked. A very nice rental home in the heart of Rainbow Bay. Short walk down to the Rainbow Inn for dinner. Would definitely rent again.

My husband and I, and my sister spent a week at High Seas in early February. This was our 2nd time at High Seas and it delivered everything we wanted and needed. The house is nice and clean, has very comfortable beds, 2 full bathrooms with plenty of towels for bath and beach. The house is spacious and the deck is absoluteley fabulous with a hammock and two swing chairs, and a lounge, and a new gorgeous pergola for some shade.. We all loved sitting out on the deck in the breeze, looking out over the ocean and up at the stars at night. We highly recommend High Seas because of the perfect location and, it is very safe and quiet there. The house has everything you need in the kitchen and also has beach chairs and beach umbrella, and use of kayaks at beautiful Rainbow Beach which is a few minutes drive from the house. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay at High Seas. Beautiful house, deck, yard, it's all just the perfect get- away. Also it is very close to a wonderful store, Big Rock, which has all the groceries you might need. We will return again as soon as we can.

It’s so challenging to put into words just how special this vacation home was to us. It delivered all that we needed for our spirits and then some. Jackie, the owner, was so extraordinary from the start..right to the finish. She’s like your forever friend who always comes through. And Laura, the gatekeeper of the property did a phenomenal job sanitizing and cleaning before we got there. We also rented a vehicle from her and when we had a problem with it she helped us secure another vehicle. And William, her husband was incredibly caring, nice and responsive. What am A Team! The house is in a cute neighborhood…very walkable from ocean side to the sea. And friendly neighbors. We ‘toured’ different streets everyday and came to live the hood. The house is spacious and has fans in every space, which we used for the most part. Ocean breezes kept us cool. And the few hours we needed the AC, it worked great and quickly. The showers were great and having a washer on site was perfect. Line drying the clothes was quick because of the breezes. If you’re thinking of renting High Seas, stop searching and just do it! Perfect location, perfect host and housekeeper and you won’t be disappointed. Promise!

The property was exactly as described. Rainbow Bay beach is just minutes away and absolutely pristine. Kayaks were a nice amenity too.

Pure bliss! Open floor living, bright, airy, creative, peaceful and with gorgeous views! Wonderful areas to eat in, relax on the deck, play games, read, or just relax. The beds are super comfortable and the bathrooms large. So many extras, like beach chairs, coolers, floats, games, and more!

This was our first visit to Eleuthera and we hit the jackpot with the little yellow cottage called High Seas! It's the perfect centrally located place on the island, in between the airport and ferries and the fun spots like Tippy's and Governors Harbour. The cottage itself is larger than it's 1200 sq ft. With high ceilings and perfect layout, it provided a sense of space while the setting was amazingly tranquil. We had sun rise views and breezes all day long. The A/C works great! But we rarely used it. The cottage is equipped with everything you need including Tommy Bahama beach chairs, snorkel gear, beach towels, kitchen accoutrements for cooking and meals, and games/books and candles. It's as if Jackie the owner knew all of my favorite things! Jackie was incredibly responsive to any question and she even helped me rent a car on the island and gave me local tips about favorite spots on the island. This was our first vacation since the pandemic began and somehow, we chose Paradise, not just Eleuthera, but in staying at High Seas. We might book it for a month next time!! Thank you Jackie for such a lovely stay!

The best house in rainbow and I’ve stayed to a lot. This house everything you can think of needing and more. Breeze was amazing! House was amazing! Everything was amazing! We will be back!!!

We had a wonderful experience staying at High Seas. From the initial booking, Jackie was very responsive and sent some helpful emails on car rentals, etc. The house is roomy, clean, and well-appointed. The caretaker, Laura, was friendly and always accessible via texting. The location of the property is really perfect. You can easily get up north to Glass Window Bridge, the Queen's Bath, etc as well as heading over to Governor's Harbour in under 30 minutes. One of our favorite spots was the Big Rock General Store operated by Tony and his extended family. They even have a small restaurant that we went to three times! The proximity to both the Atlantic and the Caribbean is unparalleled. Walk down the hill and you are right on the rocky shores of the Atlantic with the waves crashing. A five minute drive has you at Rainbow Bay Beach which is exactly what you think of when you think of a white sand, sapphire blue water beach - except there's nobody else there! We found the entire experience with Jackie and the area to be just what we needed after a year of COVID lockdown!

This was our second stay here, we are so comfortable at High Seas and it is very clean. The stars at night are breathtaking! The communication with the owner and the caretaker have been wonderful!
