This house was and had what one needs to enjoy while vacationing by yourself or with family and friends. There were games, television and ample space to kick back after a busy day exploring or shopping. Every little thing you need at home was right there waiting on you. Find out for yourself.

My wife, Mother-in-law and I stayed at this property while visiting Blairsville for a wedding. It was nice because the location was convenient for us. The fireplace was awesome and we used it every evening. We liked how it was decorated for Christmas. We visited Helen which wasn't far away. The driveway was pretty steep so in harsh weather conditions it could be an issue but it wasn't for us. House was very clean.

We loved our stay at the cabin. There was a minor issue with the internet the first night, but they were quick to respond and we didn’t have any other issues.

We used this location as a base from which to take several different day trips to some of north Georgia's beautiful waterfalls and to enjoy the spectacular fall colors in the area. The property provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

The whole rental process was smooth and easy - from reservation to check-in. The property had everything we needed for a comfy stay, and was centrally located to accommodate our tour of area waterfalls and spectacular fall colors.

Property was just as expected, clean & welcoming! It was located a little further out than we expected, but was worth the trip. We recommend this house for any family or friends retreat.

This place was absolutely wonderful!!! My sister and a friend went to make cards and we stayed inside all 5 days!!! So clean and everything was perfect! Plenty of towels, toilet paper and paper towels!!! I've stayed in allot of places, but this one is my favorite!!!!

Our first time using the App, VRBO, and it was the best decision, We loved the property since we got there, the views during the trip are spectacular, cleanliness and space of the unit perfect, with everything a tourist needs, if you like the adventure is a perfect option to get, Franks is a super nice guy and always available with any inquiry, price super affordable for all pockets we are super happy with our vacation and family time, just be careful with bears

If you are looking for a mountain view you may be disappointed. There are beautiful trees surrounding the property, but unfortunately the trees block most of the mountain views. The 3 bedroom/2 bath home is well-maintained and very comfortable. We had a minor issue with a lock malfunction on one of the bedroom doors. The maintenance man, Frank, came to the house right away and remedied the issue. I highly recommend this property and will rent it again if available.

I like the property very nice. In one room the TV didn't work. Had to wait 3 days to get a new one.

We very much enjoyed the time we stayed at Serenity Retreat property. And could not ask of better communications with Collins. I recomend this rental to anyone who is looking for a awesome place and feeling of security while your there.

This property was great! It was clean and in great condition when we arrived, and the check-in and check-out instructions were succinct and easy to understand. I loved the mountain setting. The house is definitely in a secluded setting, which I appreciated very much, and it's only about 10-15 minutes away from dining and grocery options in Blairsville as well as about half an hour from Helen. My family and I had a wonderful time using this as our base to explore north Georgia!

We very much enjoyed the time we stayed at Serenity Retreat property. And could not ask of better communications with Collins. I recomend this rental to anyone who is looking for a awesome place and feeling of security while your there.

It was so beautiful the view from any which way you look was amazing very steep up to the property itself. It was so dreamy my family and I we all enjoyed it so much hoping to book later this year and comeback to see snow. Thank you so much for opening up your beautiful home to us.

The house was beautiful, beautiful decorations for Christmas. We can’t wait to come bck

My family stayed at this mountain home in Blairsville for Thanksgiving. When unpacking in the kitchen I noticed the fire alarm had the battery compartment open exposing the battery. This left that unit inoperable which was my first concern. My second issue was the fire alarm in the hall between the 2 smaller bedrooms was totally missing. Only the wire was hanging from the ceiling. This was now 2 fire alarms that were not functional. The third problem that occurred was our first night of the vacation. At 12:40 AM the fire alarm in our bedroom began to chirp. This chirp occurred every minute or two. My husband attempted to stop the annoying noise by removing the battery. This did not help as the unit was wired to the electrical system. We tried to sleep through the noise but after an hour I called the maintenance man and asked him how to stop the noise. He told us to remove the unit from the ceiling and put it in the garage. My husband did this so we could get back to sleep. I was under the impression that the maintenance man was coming the next day to fix the issue but when we checked out Saturday (2 days later) he still hadn’t come. This means our entire stay was with 3 non functioning fire alarms. This is not acceptable. The safety of my family should be a priority to you. The issue with the alarms must be ongoing which is evident from the missing hall alarm. The fourth issue was at times the water flow in the shower was a trickle. It would fluctuate from trickle to extremely low. It seems as if there could be sediment in the lines somewhere that needs to be corrected. The fifth and final issue is the tiny roaches that come out after dark. The night we woke due to the chirping alarm we spotted them on the walls. I also had a few run out from around the dishwasher. The home is festive with Christmas decorations and cozy with the personal additions but the issues I have previously mentioned destroyed your efforts.

Serenity retreat is a beautiful house in a very convenient location for seeing the state parks and hiking trails of North Georgia. It has a modern kitchen with plenty of space, a separate dining room, and a large living room with sofa, love seat, and two recliners. The bedrooms are spacious, and the bathrooms were in good condition. There is an enclosed garage that looks like it could hold two cars in a pinch. There's a nice porch on the back side of the house with rockers and a swing. The neighborhood is beautiful and very quiet. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent it again. There are a few minor things that some people might consider downsides that I will mention. The house is not a "cabin." It doesn't have the faux log cabin exterior, or paneling on the interior walls typical of rental cabins. It's just a nice three bedroom, two bath home. This didn't bother us at all, but it might bother some. All the beds are queen-sized, as it says in the description. It would have been nice to have a king-sized bed in the master bedroom. We knew this ahead of time, though, and it wasn't a deal-breaker for us. Entry to the house is gained through the garage, which has a keypad that's used to open and close it from the outside. The keypad stopped functioning on the second or third day, and we had to call the repairman out to help us. He showed up very quickly, and gave us a key to the back door. From then on, when we left the house, I would have to close the garage after everyone had gone out. Then I would go out by the back door, locking it as I went, and walk around the side of the house. Then I would have to reverse that process on our return. Inconvenient, but still not a deal breaker. The keypad was known to be flaky, though, and I think we should have been provided with a key to the house from the beginning.
