first of all we got their floors were absolutely dirty filthy, and then on the decks you had nails popping up and maintenance never showed up to clean the pool or the hot tub. also, on the second floor by the door the register smelled like cat urine.

Beautiful Place
We had a great time. Definitely get your exercise in with all the steps! The pool was great. We rented a golf cart to explore the development. Wasn’t crazy about the beach, def need one closer and a better day on it! All in all GREAT TIME!

The property was in good shape the only complaint I heard was some of the nails in the balconies was sticking up but the rest of the house was in excellent condition everyone enjoyed the house. The pool, hot tub, and pool table seemed to be the main attractions

This property is far from what it appears to be in pictures. The beds were broken in several rooms, the sun chairs are cracked or broken, the hot tub cover was torn and needed replacement, only one burner on the stove top worked, screws were raised on the deck surrounding the house and pool, decking around the exterior of the house and pool should be replaced, the house needed to be pressure washed and repainted, 2nd story exterior staircase needs to be replaced due to safety issues, floor tile in the game room was cracked and the tile on the side of pool was coming off.

Fire island was a great rental property, our family enjoyed the pool, beach and kayaking in the bay. Lots of space for the whole family to have fun.

We enjoyed everything this house had to offer. We would definitely rank this house at the top of our vacation rentals.

Wouldn't recommend
This property is very pleasing to the eye in the online pictures,
but they are very deceiving.
The house needs a lot of upgrades, painting, new woodwork,
bedding needs to be replaced, not just cleaned, REPLACED. It's disgusting, the mattresses and mattress covers are full of urine stains and who knows what else.
Three coffeemakers none of which were clean or worked.
The house itself was in a very nice location and had great views. Aside from that I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

We love the Outer Banks! We have stayed down in Hatteras a few times. We enjoyed staying on the sound and watching the beautiful sunset this time. The house was large and accommodating everyone. Renting this property from this site was a rip off. I paid VRBO $300 to book a place that cost me 6K for two weeks. I could have gone to the actual website for the house and rented for free. This site a scam.

Great week. Enjoyed the home and the view!!
Loved the property. It worked well for our large family especially the kitchen, dining and living room area. The only negative comment is that there was a lot of standing water and we had to take off our shoes off to get in our vehicle. Extremely high water when getting out to the main street. Other than that, wonderful property!!
