really cute boutique style and a cute pool that we jumped into every day and night! staff was really nice and helpful despite the language barrier. gave us very good restaurant recommendation and helped arrange transport. we got the smallest room size but with a small balcony it feels enough, plus the pool and lounge area was beautiful so we hang out there a lot anyway.
i also noticed they use high quality stuff: pillow was super comfortable, so was the bed, some towels were really soft and different (although they later got changed into the normal, rough type)
I wish the curtains were black out type or a bit thicker, since we really slept in over our holiday.
the location would have been perfect in a nicer weather, but unfortunately we were there during the hottest time in July so even a 10-min walk to town was excruciating… (and it’s so close so you can’t really get a taxi to pick you up)

Breakfast was absolutely amazing. Beautiful property, great staff (though very little English so be prepared to use a translator). A ten minute walk from the center and very quiet at night. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

We stayed at the Alabora Hotel in Alacati for 5 days in May. We were happy with our selection. The hotel is in a quiet location and the two sisters who run the hotel and other staff were very friendly. The breakfast was prepared with love and tasted good. Every day there was a different hot meal. The room was a little small but the bed was very comfortable, we had a good wifi connection and a safe. The rooms are cleaned on request, which we didn't know from other boutique hotels and which we weren't told when we arrived. If you need new towels, etc., you will probably get them as part of the requested room cleaning.
The only tiny drawback was that our room was next to the kitchen and every morning very early, sometimes as early as 6am, we would hear noises from the corridor that would wake us up. But that's no reason for us not to book the hotel. You may also be able to request a room on the lower or upper floor. It should be quieter there.

Location of property was great. Facility was good, beds comfortable, great breakfast, and parking available.
No one spoke English. We had to use Google translate to communicate.

We had an excellent stay. The rooms are very beautifully decorated and quiet, beds are comfy. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was extraordinary!

From the quality of room and kitchen fresh breakfast, everything was just perfecf! we got a balcony room and the tiny details i must say took my heart!

Great value for money, friendly staff, available parking spaces.
Last day we got charged a lot of extras (coffees, orange juice etc) that we didn't know were not included in the breakfast. Staff should inform the guests if anything is extra and disclose the price.

The staff was the best! So lovely and caring.. the breakfast was amazing, they made it vegan for us! Close to Alacati center by foot. Highly recommended hotel!

The hotel is indeed a boutique hotel. Its a super nice old villa fully renovated and the amount of details in the decoration is unbelievable.
Rooms are super nice, super clean. Bed is super comfortable.
I recommend the room with the garden view/access.
The owners and staff are great friendly and very professional people. The helped and moved out luggage on their motorbike while we were lost on our way to the hotel.
The breakfast!!! The breafast is something else!
It was a delight for us every morning to wait for the home made breakfast and everyday they made sure to add and surprisr us with a new item even more delicious.
Location is superb. Just 5 min walk to alacati main street and yet located in a very nice classy villas street away from the hustle of alacati.
I could help myself taking photos of every signle details of this lovely hotel.

The stuff is the best, they were really helpful and kind.
They have an amazing breakfast, delicious with a lot of food.
Also the local wine they have is really good.
The room and the bathroom were very clean and nice.

Couldn’t fault this little hotel. Spotlessly clean. Beautiful white bed linen. Big comfy towels. Breakfast was excellent. Staff couldn’t do enough for us. 5 minutes walk from Alacati centre, windmills etc. We are very happy holidaymakers.

The location is perfect. It is close to city center and bus stops. You can easily get to Ilica Beach and Cark Beach. The breakfast was brilliant with fresh products and very friendly and helpful personnel. You feel like at home! Many thanks to all the stuff and special thanks to Orhan Bey for his hospitality!

I have been in a few hotels in my life and alabora is one of the best 3 hotels i’ve ever stayed in. The staff is soo friendly that you become like family in a few days. We loved it!! Ory was our best man!
