Dirty and dodgy

It was unclean. There were hairs and dirt everywhere.The shower the first time was broken. The doors the second were broken, indeed the outer door had been tampered with by placing a screw in the locking mechanism to prevent locking. The first night we stayed a drug dealer was clearly in the next room (arrived back at 1:30) we have enough French to know a deal was being set up for the next day, loudly, on a mobile. The only reason we stayed on the return journey was pre payment and lack of time to make alternative arrangements. It appears to be being used to house people indefinitely so poor kids are playing there.

In the evening it was quite loud,there were people living in some rooms. We were charged twice for the electricity tax once on booking.com and once at place(2eur) Small room, window looking at the entrance couldn't really leave it open.

in general everything was kind of ok but could better if it was refurbished or slightly younger ....marks of elderey or age starts to appear . But the bulding is well maintained in good shape of functionning.

Check-in procedure was a disaster. And when you have children at the cold in your car this matters! The check-in kiosk was not properly functioning: the screen was not a real touch screen and it was really hard to type numbers and characters because it was not a real touch screen but a mouse pointer moving on the screen and often not pointing to the right place. The system could not recognize our reservation by any parameter (code, first name, last name, whatever). When we contacted the service desk the person were laughing in the background and sort of assuming we were not capable to manage simple things like type a name on a touch screen. Finally a receptionist was activated and gave us the keys but when we tried to enter the keys were not working and I had to recycle again on the service desk and then on the receptionist. They were always assuming that we were not capable to open a lock with a card. I have travelled all other the world in multiple hotels and location with different stars level and I know perfectly how an hotel lock based on a card mechanism should work. I am super unhappy about that and it is not that I do not understand that sometimes such computers/cards/keys can have defects but it is mostly the attitude of the people not understanding that a family arriving at late night with children needs a smooth mechanism to enter the room for having the deserved rest. Guessing why, instead, the payments were automatically managed without any issue ...

Only the parking space.

1. The shower. There were no pictures on Booking of the shower. Once we see it, we understood immediately why there weren’t pictures on Booking. 2. The beds were small and with curves. 3. The room was clean, except under the bed. 4. There was no good water pressure, sometimes you got cold water instead of hot. 5. No good sound isolation. You can hear almost anyone in the hotel. 6. Nobody from the staff spoke English. Even one word. It’s known french people refuse to speak English, but at least when you have guests, you can try. 7. Paying almost 70€ per night for this room and staying 13min ca. from Colmar city by car, it’s not acceptable.

The worst ever

It was -7 degrees,and heating didn’t work,And they have no reception,I was dying of cold and no body responds. the worst cleanness ever.

- good placement, near Germany, Swiss and beautiful cities like Colmar and Strasbourg

- dirty room, especially the floor, and they did not wash it during our 5-days stay - there was a stain on sheet - the towels did not smell like clean - breakfasts don’t cost such money

Good location for travellers. 5 Min. From motorway exit. Was a last minute booking and wasn't looking for more than a bed and a shower for the night. Fair price for the accomodation and good breakfast selection

Place could do with a lick of paint. Only 1 electric socket by the sink.

Pre booked Gluten free breakfast, this did not materialise. Had to have tea and yogurt only. Room extremely small. Toilet and shower were clean but extremely tight fit. Wash basin area dirty and very small. Smell of damp in here as well.

After all the receptionist help us as much as he could.

The room wasn't clean at all, the shower was a little bit dirty. We have found insects in the room. We had to ask for towel's and toilet paper, we haven't had hangers . The second day the card wasn't working and we had to go to the receptionist to activate again and lucky that was two minutos before time to close the reception otherwise we would have had to use the automatic machine which wasn't working at all. The first day the receptionist gave us a card with room number 46 when our room was 43, and we could open the other room with all the belongs of other customers...

bathroom: it was so noisy and the bathroom and the shower were together. While we were having a shower the rest of the bathroom was getting wet. It was crazy. bed: the quality of the mattress was so low, it was really unconfortable. chech-in hour: the check-in hour was so limitate.

Staff was friendly. breakfast was edible. location is good.

terrible smell in the room. synthetic thin blankets. The towels are not clean!!!! they were clearly not washed after the previous guests. it is impossible to leave the window open at night - unsafe, but how to ventilate the room?!

The comfort of the rooms was ok, but it was not cleaned at all. Sticky ground. Dirty toilet. Not worth the price, not even for 1 night. If it was clean, ok, but it was really a dirty room
