The Garbos Hotel premises were adequate, and the hotel was located next to the conference center where I was attending a conference. However, the hotel is a bit isolated from restaurants in the center of town.

My main complaint is with service. The restaurant wait staff were sometimes not very attentive to bringing a menu, asking about drinks, etc. Moreover, my colleague had pre-arranged for two or three of us attending an early morning field trip to get coffee from a machine and a light breakfast from the buffet 20 minutes before the restaurant officially opened. However, this message was apparently not conveyed to the morning staff, so the individual who had set up the buffet refused to give us access to the only available coffee machine and some food in the hotel - he just looked at us through the glass door and shrugged without asking our need. The front desk attendant tried to help but could not reach the hotel manager to confirm our arrangement. We had no time afterwards to search for coffee and food in town, so the first 5 hours of the field trip were unpleasant.
