"Palm Paradise" is a very accurate description of this place. Located in a quiet palm grove right next to the beach, very green and quiet (except for the crashing waves - but that's the kind of noise I could listen to all day). Peacocks walking around in the garden and sometimes coming to the pool to drink, all sorts of other birds, squirrels and monkeys can be seen all day round but never cause any trouble. Back in the day they used to have only the minimalistic cabanas (which are great btw), but I was very happy to discover that they have expanded quite a bit since 2010 and now they have the villas, a new restaurant and a pool. The villa where I chose to stay this time was very spacious, air-conditioned and had a large balcony/patio. Both the pool and the beach are less than a minute away. Super-friendly staff, helped me organize the transfer from Ella and then to Colombo for a very reasonable price without requiring any sort of prepayment. The ocean can be a bit rough at times, but that's not a bad thing, just something to be aware of. The restaurant offers excellent quality food, which applies to both the breakfast and the a-la carte dining options. Very clean and warm pool just outside the restaurant with comfortable wooden sunbeds. There's a small grocery store just on the corner of the main road (~5 min walk), and if you need more shopping then Tangalle is only ~10 minutes and ~500LKR away by tuktuk, which can be found just outside the main gate.

The window blinds in V6 could use some fixing. Other than that, there's really nothing to complain about.

Living in villa was great: enough space, 2 glass walls provide the feeling of living in the forest, air condition and Wi-Fi worked good, room was clean. additional advantage is territory which is quite big. Note: Tangalle is 20 mins by tuk-tuk.

1)main point: no shower at the beach or nearby on the territory - you have to go and wash the salt from your body to your room or to the pool, which is not close. 2)we were not really satisfied with breakfast: the smallest plate of fruits we had here within 2 weeks. Sri-Lanka style breakfast was not good as well. 3)many hungry dogs. Dear staff, please feed the dogs!! 4)massage we ordered was not-so-great :(

The resort is next to a beautiful beach, which is unspoiled with some rustic beach bars. The garden of the resort is big and well maintained.

The food at the restaurant is average, as well as the swimming pool. We stayed in a villa and it was not clean with dirty bedsheets and some cockroaches at night. The value for money is not attractive.

The property is lovely immersed in a very curated green jungle. The access to the sea is few steps away. At the time of our stay the situation was such that not many local restaurants were opened or offered much food choice, the resort’s restaurant by the pool offers very tasty choices.

When making reservation through Booking do make sure to get what booked for. Hotels in general tend to give a downgraded version of what offered in the Booking site. Also we found the food at the main restaurant missing the zest of a good and passionate chef.

This was our favorite stay for our trip! The AC cabanas are beautiful and surrounded by lush green. The beach right next to it is gorgeous and really chill. Food and service were both excellent.

Absolutely stunning palm garden, right at the beautiful beach. Very comfortable accomodation - super nice villas, nicely decorated and comfortable. Decent breakfast, tasty lunch/ dinner options (seafood platter highly recommended). Fantastic staff - helpful, kind, smiling. Nice pool with beautiful high trees and palm trees above, lovely, non-invasive animals (peacocks, monkeys, mungos, squirrels and lots of birds). Quick and easy commuting nearby by tuk-tuks. Very convenient transportation from/ to the airport organized by hotel and delivered personally by manager - Rohan (thank you!).

Bungalows are not very mosquito proof. but that’s to be expected. there were 2 of us but we only got one towel for shower. water pressure from hit shower was almost nonexistent.

Location by the ocean was good, but they lock the gates to the water.

Everything in the complex is very dated. It looks like nothing has been updated in over 20 years! The cabins, because they are not villas, are dark with little natural light. With the shutters open at night, you are on display. Designed mosquito friendly, too!I never did find the pool. There was only one sign and all I found in that area were cabanas!

Everything: extraordinary personnel, the hotel amenities, the nature around.

Not relatedd to the hotel: beach to the ocean has too many local shops, maybe some of them are not needed so beach could stay more natural.

The place was a beautiful garden and very thoughtfully designed.

Nothing to dislike really, skill of kitchen staff in one restaurant was lacking, but then in the current economic environment the owners are doing their best to keep the place running.

The property was well maintained, beautiful and peaceful. We stayed in a Villa and booked family villa with attic for the rest of the family. Both Villas were very clean and had plenty of space. Beds were very comfortable. Garden was lovely and various animals, such as squirrels and peacocks were roaming.

Very chill. Well spaced cabanas. Two restaurants on site selling a good variety of food and drinks. Beautiful beach on your doorstep with bars restaurants (closed during our stay due to the low season). Nice pool with one of the restaurants alongside, numerous sunloungers Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Lots of very friendly dogs! Despite the low season and the current struggles in sri lanka this was a fantastic place to stay and we would definitely recommend it

Not a negative for us as we were anticipating it, but it is worth noting that the cabanas are open to the elements. This means that they can't stay very clean due to sand blowing from the beach and lots of insects. There is a mosquito net above the bed that helps with this and we were provided with a mosquito coil to keep them away. The wifi wasn't very strong in the cabana we were staying in, in the villa/pool it was good though.

The room was elegant, quiet and comfortable and the walk through the gardens to the beach was lovely.

I liked the beach very much. The staff was very helpfull and friendly. The villas were in a beatifull garden with lots of treas and animals, that make you forget all your problems.

In one word, extraordinary! The facility is stunning and in front of our cabana we were able to watch monkeys and other animals. In just a few steps you are at the beach and during the night you can listen the ocean. The pool is as well an eye catcher. The breakfast and food in the restaurants was amazingly delicious and the staff was simply incredible. Indeed, living in a paradise and the perfect place to rest and balance your mind and soul.

This is an absolutely fantastic place! Friendly staff beautiful cabanas and a great location.

I don`t even know how to begin to describe the beauty of this place. Is truly is Paradise. We stayed in one of the AC villas as we were travelling with a child, but the bungalows looked amazing as well, especially those immediately next to the beach. There is so much green there, i think this is how i imagine Sri Lanka generally: green, quiet and a bit savage. The beach was absolutely perfect, never crowded, quiet, with perfect shades of blue. The resort itself is huge and every corner is instagramable. The restaurants are very good and the staff was so nice and friendly. The room was huge, very clean and it gave you that feeling that you are on e deserted island, it was absolutely perfect. The swimming pool is nice and you could watch monkeys jumping in the trees from it. There was not a single thing we didn`t like here. Try it for yourself.

Beautiful place right on the best beach!! You can here the sea waves from the villas. Nice pool, nice food, welcoming staff, arranged tuk tuks (who was very informative about the area) brilliant stay!
