We had an amazing time at this place. A beautiful location to enjoy the mountain view. The staff were exceptional and always there to assist wherever possible. The owner Prince and his son Akram gives every effort to make their guests happy. And the sister who cooks and serves is a very kind hearted human. So many things to love about this property. Definitely worth the money. Rooms are well designed with a modern touch. Felt so home everyday there. We will definitely love to return.

I highly recommend taking the upstairs room with the beautiful view. the other rooms are directly in the living room so if you can I’d chose to stay upstairs, it’s very beautiful and a huge room. Very hot shower, comfy bed, lots of blankets and good amenities

I spent a weekend here in March and would happily stay again. My friend and I arrived after dark and fully exhausted, but Akram met us at the door, made us tea, and helped us order some very good roti wraps off the house menu since we didn't want to go out again. He helped us plan our itinerary for the next day and arranged a tuk tuk for transport, and gave us his WhatsApp for any questions. The downstairs rooms (where we stayed) branched off a living room area with couches, a fireplace, and a breakfast table -- it sort of felt like staying in a home, which was nice. Good views out the front windows and from the front porch of the surrounding hills. Even though it's up the hill a bit, the walk into town wasn't that bad, and they gave us a map with some pedestrian shortcuts upon arrival. I definitely recommend Pigeons Nest if you are looking for a low-key but comfortable place to stay in NE-- they really did everything they could to make our stay run smoothly.

It got a little cold at night, but they lit a fire in the living room for us which was lovely! Just make sure you bring a warm jacket because Nuwara Eliya can be chilly.

Very kind and helpful staff. They helped arrange trips and renting a scooter. Room was very nice, beautiful view and good bed. And the cook was very good. We really enjoyed our stay.

it's interesting how the building isn't finished yet. it seems they are going to build 2 more rooms on the floor we stayed later. Anyway it didn't affect our stay.

The place you can feel like at home, very friendly owner, beautiful sunrise, kind people all around, very beautiful bathroom with strong hair dryer! It can be a little bit cold but there's a chimney, blankets. The room is unique, big windows and such a beautiful view. There are puffs you can sit and enjoy the view and chilling even if it's raining.strongly recommend to visit this place.

Everything was perfect.

The place is a like dream. I stayed at their king suite, it was really breathtaking. You can never get enough of this place. Owner was super helpful, and always help you with what to see and where to go around Nuwara Eliya. Food wise I had their Chicken Wrap with Chips twice my stay. it’s really tasty and full filling. Overall this was a top notch experience.

Prince and his family are lovely people. Prince helped us with our planning, gave us great tips, arranged our transport with Kareem, our amazing driver who saved the day when our train tickets were cancelled at the last minute. We really enjoyed our stay and would come again.

Clean, beautiful room with amazing view, got an upgrade from the host. The host is very friendly, has good recomentations on activities, food and so on, even organised a perfect trip to the tea factory and the waterfalls for us. Big "social room" with open fire in the evening, perfect to just relax or connect with other travellers!

Comfortable beds with enough layers of blankets to sleep (very important in this region!!), fresh towels, soap present, good shower (but cfr infra). Friendly host! He gives more than enough advice about sightseeing! Breakfast is good, but we don’t love that much Sri Lankan style, so we asked for European breakfast. The host did everything to arrange this! Loved their effort! Good communication with the host!

The boiler of the shower did not work properly, the water was freezing cold sometimes! It’s a little bit cold inside the building, so perhaps some heating would be a great idea. A fresh towel every day is a basic need, so a guest should not have to ask for it several times!

A bit expensive for what it was. The photos look like a hotel in the forest and it's not.

Prince was amazing. Very welcoming. Helped organise our time there and was very kind and generous. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the family room had incredible views.
