The outside gardens are what we enjoyed mostly. on an evening, with the lights lit up it was magical, peaceful and relaxing. The location of the property is a little village ideal for base to hike in the troodos mountains.

The accommodation that we stayed in was really old fashioned, cupboards were locked up, nowhere to hang / place clothes and the hot water in the shower was inconsistent.

I had a truly wonderful week at Cecilias Courtyard. It was such a peaceful setting in a traditional village in Cyprus's wine region. It's a great location to explore beaches, ancient ruins, vineyards and the Troodos mountains. The hosts were so helpful and answered all of my questions promptly. They also gave excellent recommendations on what to see and where to eat. The courtyard is a really beautiful place to unwind: read, swim, eat, watch the stars, have a glass of wine. I really didn't want to leave! Thanks again for making my time in Cyprus so special.

The garden and courtyard are beautiful, shady and quiet. The studio is nicely furnished, arranged and well equiped.

The nearby Troodos Forest is quite beautiful. Cecilia's Courtyard looks good in photo, and the tiny garden is pretty. The help that greeted us was kind. The snake repellent bottles outside our doors and by the swimming-pool must work, because we didn't see any snake in 2 days, but maybe we've not been there long enough... but we wouldn't have resisted any longer.

We choose the "Country house with garden view", bad choice: the photos of all the units are mixed together, and the few of the "with garden view" enhanced by wide angle lens. This review regards this unit. The place is at the bottom of the garden, on the lowest point, facing north. The entrance is tucked away behind a large trunk draped with loose cables or pipes, a snake repellent bottle greets you at the door. One's enters directly in the large bedroom, which is reasonable. You then pass directly into the unequipped kitchenette, which is useless, even if the place is advertised as "a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave and a fridge": no cutting board, no knife (besides 3 or 4 blunt butter knives) and a minute camping stove, good only for tea and toast. Also, the ceiling here is on average 2,15 meters high, but the beams are 7 cm lower. From the kitchenette you access a minute bathroom, so tiny it feels you accidentally stepped into a cupboard, impression reinforced by the lack of window or vent, and to top it up there is black mold on the wall. The whole place has no curtains, nor shutters in the kitchenette french doors, so from the pool they see you getting naked out of the shower, unless you dress between the toilet and the sink. The "Country house with garden view" is damp, and in two weeks in Cyprus, its the only place where we've been bitten by mosquitoes; and unless you're really short you need to duck to pass through all but one door. We bumped into the lady that appears to be the owner once: in person as in writing she doesn't greet you introducing herself and welcoming you, she curtly tells you what you have to do. The swimming pool is only 3 x 6, so when other guests are in it gets really cosy. To top it all, at night the woodworm, loudly munching away, kept us up for a long time.

Everything was perfect - it's cosy and brilliant place to spend a few days. It was clean, quiet and made style. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Cecilia's Courtyard. Our little cottage had everything we needed for a 1-week stay, and the swimming pool and shaded spots in the courtyard were an absolute godsend over summer. Our hosts were always quick to respond when we had a question and to help out if we needed anything. For us, the location was perfect - a quiet village surrounded by vineyards and close to the mountains for hiking.

This place is amazing! Perfect place to relax and recharge. Location is ideal for trips to nearby villages. The scenery at night with the lights it’s magical. Definitely visiting again.

It’s not actually things we didn’t like but things to consider for improvement. Firstly the room had to be more clean due to the fact that it’s an old building and it gets dusty easily. Secondly some curtains should be considered to avoid light and for privacy reasons. And lastly the pool should be vacuumed more often.

We booked the two houses to spend the weekend with friends. The owner upgraded one of the houses to the biggest one and offered us late check out since there were no other guests the next day. Everything was sparking clean and we had all the amenities we needed. We didn’t use the pool due to the cold but made full use of the beautiful garden..our barbecue set up in the evening was magical due to the little lights wrapped around the trees in the garden. 100% recommended and will definitely visit again.

We loved the atmosphere inside the courtyard, it is a very special place. The owner prepared a fish Barbecue at the evening which was very delicious. We will come again :)
