They had the cabin all set up for check in. Fireplace on, tv and lights! Owner was super nice and responsive. Backyard was great and secure! Just a few minor things need attention: kitchen items (utensils, pots, pans need to be replaced). Driveway is a bit tight, but cutting the trees back would help. I would definitely stay here again, but bring my own kitchen items! I recognize owners don’t use them regularly, so I hope this feedback is helpful.

Me and my party stayed for 4 days and it was amazing! The location is perfect, not too far away from the Main Street of Julian. Cabin was clean, FULL KITCHEN PROVIDED, both couches are pull outs and are pretty comfortable plenty of blankets, pillows, and towels also provided !! I will be definitely staying here again :)

This cabin was exactly what we were looking and hoping for our trip to Julian! Definitely recommend. Thanks for the stay!

Very cute cabin, everything needed for a stay was provided. Had a bit of a problem with the AC, it was 100 degrees during our stay and it made it a bit uncomfortable. Back yard was roomy for the dogs, unfortunately full of foxtails so we couldn’t let them out in the yard.

Although located in a neighborhood, we were able to look out the windows to trees and open the doors to the sound of the wind. Exactly what we needed as a break.

My daughter and I spent 3 nights at this amazing cabin. It was very comfortable and well-equipped with a beautiful patio and a fenced backyard for our pup to play safely. There are extremely comfortable leather sofas, a nice dining table and an ear in kitchen with bar. Super cosy gas fireplace and nice TV. Everything was clean and well organized. Our hosts instructions were clear and easy to follow plus there’s a great information folder with everything you need to know about Julian which is a charming town with good restaurants and amazing pies!! I highly recommend this cabin as a great place to stay.

The cabin had everything I needed and my dog enjoyed the backyard. Very close to town to eat and dessert. There was a night that one of the neighbors was having a fight with someone but, other than that, nice.

Amazing space very quiet neighborhood with a beautiful opening on the deck to view stars and galaxy core picture. Enjoyed a few meteors from the Lyriads right from the comfort of the cabin. Clean and organized well maintained

We were very lucky to find this amazing cabin !!! We were there when it was snowing quite a bit. It was amazing ! The cabin is nice and cozy and has lots of windows to see the beautiful trees ! We are very thankful to Mathew, the owner of the cabin, very friendly and kind. The first day, after a huge storm he and his family came and helped us clear the snow so we could park in the drive way and made us feel safe letting us know that what ever we need to call him… We definitely recommend this cabin for a great time away from your busy life and the kids 😉

This cabin was awesome, perfect for a weekend getaway and next time we will bring our pups as the backyard was perfect for them.

The cabin itself far out did the pictures posted. It was the perfect getaway for a couple. The cabin was fully furnished with everything you need. We absolutely loved it and we look forward to booking it again in the summer and around the same time next year in December. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a place in Julian. It was super close to town as well. I can't thank you enough for the experience my girlfriend and I had. Definitely one for the books and a timeless memory!!

The cabin has a great location and the host was great in communicating. I loved the stay.

The cabin was clean and had plenty of linens which was good because it was quite cold during our stay and the cabin was not adequately heated. We were grateful for the extra blankets. It took almost 24 hrs to warm it up with the one and only heater at full blast. About 1/2 of the electric outlets didn’t work. The shampoo container in the shower leaked. It was empty when we arrived but I found a container to fill it. It was empty the next morning. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and close to he downtown area.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. The host was very responsive and let us change our travel date twice. The property was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The host even provided firewood, charcoal for the grill and fire starter. We ran into an issue that the host could not foresee but I do wish this was more clear on the listing. This was supposed to be our anniversary weekend and an adult only trip. However, our babysitter got sick and we had to bring our 1 year old daughter. The listing says one bedroom but it is really more of a loft layout. There are no doors separating the rooms which means we had to spend the hours after my daughter’s bedtime outside to not wake her up. Another thing I want to point out (even tho it did not apply to us) is that the house is not wheelchair accessible. There are definitely stairs to get into the house. The second “bed” is accessible through a very narrow latter so not ideal for elderly people, small children or people with mobility issues. All in all this listing is PERFECT for a couple’s get away. Very quiet, clean and equipped with anything you would need to relax for the duration of your stay. Definitely recommend !

The cabin was so cozy and inviting. Clean and well stocked with everything you need to have a wonderful stay. We will definitely be booking again. Highly recommend and great communication and ease of check-in and out.

The host was really great and let us come come a couple hours early!! Our dogs were welcome and very happy in the yard with all the smells and logs to climb on! Bed was comfortable, house was clean, very nice deck in front front and close to downtown Julian.. We will definitely rent this again!

Beautiful neighborhood.

The deck overlooking trees and the street (which was a little busier than I would’ve thought) is amazing! Every morning, I sat there and drank my coffee and ate my bagel! Big backyard for the dogs— we felt comfortable going to the beach and leaving them there. Great cabin— I recommend it!

This was our second stay at this cabin. We absolutely love it! Great location, good neighbors. Mathew is a great host. Can't wait to come back again.
