My husband, my dog & I LOVED every second. Beautiful, tranquil & comfortable.

My husband and I enjoyed a few days working remotely here with our two pups. The cottage was cozy and the views were awesome. We were able to get out on our paddle boards during the day and enjoyed sitting by the fire in the evenings. Hosts were quick to communicate and help us out when a small issue came up. Close to some great breweries and hiking/walking spots. Overall Great stay :)

Unfortunately, we didn't have too much time to enjoy the quaint little cabin on the river. It was however adorable and super picturesque. We hope to visit again before too long.

Nice, simple cabin on a river. Great owner. I wish we could have stayed longer to canoe and travel the local area more.

Everything from beginning to the end was great! The cottage had everything we needed. Jane and her son John were helpful if we needed anything. John took us out on the boat on the river. It was so nice! The leaves were starting to change. It was a perfect fall weekend!

This cottage was exactly what we were looking for to find some peace for a few days. We loved the easy access to use our kayaks and paddle board. The owners were kind and helpful and the view was stunning! We loved being able to have our dog with us too! We will definitely be back!

I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a quiet getaway, the views and people who run it are very good and helpful.

This was by far the most relaxing vacation we have ever taken! The property is absolutely beautiful, the river is clean, the cabin is comfortable, and the owners are extremely hospitable and helpful while also respecting our privacy. We took our 2 large Dutch Shepherd dogs and I am pretty sure they would have happily stayed there forever! We spent most days fishing, kayaking, hiking (White Mountains and Lake Winnipesaukee are only about a 45 min drive), taking naps in the hammock, exploring town and the Franklin Falls Dam, or swimming with the dogs. We spent most nights grilling dinner and having campfire s'mores. Very quiet area, solitude bliss. Thank you for everything Jane & John!! We will be back! We stayed 7 nights & I could have easily stayed another 7 :)

Love love love our stay. Waking up to a beautiful view! And it was so peaceful and quiet. We lucked out with the warmer than usual weather for September in NH. The house was as described and pictured and was perfect for the two of us and our dog. The hosts greeted us and made themselves available if we had had any questions/concerns but otherwise left us alone. We were invited to a boat ride/tour and I say it’s a must!! If you get invited- don’t hesitate- go for it! The river is calm and was perfect for paddling and fishing. I recommend, it’s the first place I’ve stayed where I can’t wait to come back again next year!

Listing and photos are spot-on. John was great on the communication prior and during my 3 day visit. The cabin just as described and photographed. Very much enjoyed the evening pontoon boat ride with the other guests. Watching the bald eagle fish for dinner was amazing to see. This place is off the beaten path and is very peaceful. Bella the rescue lab was an extra bonus.

The Pemi Shore cottage was a quiet, peaceful stay on the river for a short stay with my pup. The cabin is small and rustic (perfect for two people), warm in cooler fall weather and has great outdoor amenities including a big fire pit and patio to watch the sunsets. The owners were kind and even dropped off a bone for the dog!

Wonderful little cottage situated right on the river. We had a relaxing stay and the owners took us out on their boat! Highly recommend

This really nice cottage is located in such a beautiful, peaceful area. We loved boating and just sitting by the water. So pretty. We will definitely be going again!

Had a blast! Went for two nights and 3 days. My dog absolutely LOVED it. She was swimming the whole time!

Amazing little vacation spot! We absolutely loved how quiet it was! The outside amenities were the best! Great place for a real camping experience in a cabin. Perfect quaint place for a short getaway!

The cabin was very cute in a secluded quiet location. My daughter enjoyed the beach. Owners were very friendly. Would definitely stay again.

We arrived 4 hours early to see what was the earliest we could check in because we had to leave our home early due to having our floors refinished. Jane and John promptly went into our rental and prepared for us to begin our stay. We had a peaceful couple of days with our fur babies Rustie and Bobbie. John and Jane also took us out on a boat ride which was a bonus. We will definitely be back next year.!!

I rented this property for my sister and I, her 31st bday is coming up and I figured some time away from three kiddos would be much needed and appreciated. We had the BEST time. We brought our kayaks, some lawn games, music and enjoyed our long weekend. John and his mother were so warm and welcoming- they treat you like neighbors you’ve known for years. We enjoyed the pontoon ride with other stayers and Miss Marylin. They were even gracious enough to offer us another night to stay ( the next renters weren’t able to make it when planned) or even extend the time instead of 11am check out- but due to having to be back to work on Monday and booking a zip lining tour at gunstock on Sunday we did not stay... but if we did not have prior commitments we definitely would have. My sister had such an amazing, time she is already talking about bringing her family next summer so they can enjoy it as well. We will most definitely be back! Thank you all so much, you made this weekend so perfect and we couldn’t be happier. - Monica and Bianca
