The hosts were so friendly and had so many thoughtful personal touches that made us feel welcome! The cabin was clean and updated and adorable with everything we needed, and the river access was perfect! We loved the trees and shade and animals! It was such a great getaway and we will be back!

Location is amazing. Just a min walk from the river. Cabin was furnished with everything you could possibly need. The host even provided supplies to make s’more’s!! This is the cleanest rental we have stayed in. We will absolutely return!!

Grounds & spot on the river are breathtaking! It was wonderful waking up listening to the river & the birds & the surrounding nature. Cabin was cute, quaint & had everything that we needed. Carlton & Laura are wonderful hosts. Highly recommended!!

If you're looking for a quiet get away look no further. Quaint, beautiful and roomy home for 2 with full kitchen and walk-in shower. And don't forget to bring your tubes and river chairs. The calming waters of the Guadalupe await you out the back porch and a short walk down the stone steps for easy access to and a relaxing day on the river. There are also plenty of chairs to sit in just above the river bank. Enjoy your meals on the large back porch while watching the birds at the bird feeders and listening to the flow of the river below. There's plenty of room to take a walk around the beautiful tree covered property. And the wildlife come out at night! While enjoying supper on the porch we saw 2 foxes, a raccoon, and later a group of deer who come out to feed at night. Owners Laura and Carlton are also raising some ducks you can even enjoy visiting with up close. If you need anything during your stay, Laura and Carlton are just a stone's throw away on the property. If they don't have what you need or forgot, they can tell you where to get it nearby. They were great and friendly hosts. So glad we found this beautiful place. Closed to the river, The house had everything you needed .

My husband and I needed a place to decompress, and this was the absolute perfect place! We could not have asked for better host. Thank you for making us feel and know we were welcomed.

Warm welcome by hosts including detailed information about the property and area. Cell service is not great but WiFi provided was excellent. The cleanest rental we have been to, and we have been to dozens this year. The wildlife on the property made it feel like you were in your own animal sanctuary. Water access was perfect, but the property also allowed tons of shade. Beautiful spot for morning coffee and a day full of fun on the river. We already want to come back!

Cabin is located on the river and located perfectly if want to get out and visit local restaurants and listen to bands that play on weekends. Great place to sit on the river and relax.

This has the perfect place on the River. Great stay. Will be back. The only problem was the shower. It was a little comical trying to take a shower. It would be difficult for a bigger person. Thanks Carlton for sharing your place on the River !
