We really enjoyed our long weekend on Mona Lake. The house was very well stocked and had every thing we needed. Kim the property manager was awesome and answered any question. We paid to rent the pontoon and loved cruising the lake but it needs more details in the description about the exact dates when the boat rental is extra! But we would definitely like to return in the future!

The house was wonderful, a definite 5 star house with a large open living area and plenty of sleeping spaces. Very clean and nicely decorated. Nice large gathering area in the kitchen. Everything we needed was there, all kitchen appliances and utensils etc. Fun to hang out on the deck or in the hot tub looking out over the lake . We opted to pay extra for use of the Pontoon boat provided which was fun to do leisurely trips around the lake. The only downside of the property was the many geese families often present on the back lawn with the landmine of their droppings to walk through, otherwise a full 5 star place. A suggestion would be to put fake plastic swans in the yard to keep the geese off the yard (that works by our subdivision pond). Thanks for the wonderful place and quick responses to any questions we had.

My family visited for a long weekend due to my daughter’s dance competition in Fruitport. The home was clean, appeared as advertised, and had everything we needed (plenty of towels, kitchen utensils, etc). Communication from the hosts was excellent - clear, friendly, and timely. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and making s’mores on the fire pit by the lake. We’d definitely visit again!

Wow! This house was beautiful. Fully stocked with necessities. Amazing view of the lake. Close to the grocery store for last minute needs. Heated floors, comfy beds. My suggestions: • giving the person who booked a heads up before calling with details. Or giving them the option for a call or a detailed message/text. It isn't always easy to answer a phone. • A bath mat in front of the shower in the 1st floor bathroom. • Quick guide to the hot tub. We hope to be back again soon!

It was a wonderful ladies weekend at this lake house. Unfortunately the weather was not the best but somehow sitting in the hot tub while raining makes up for it! The house was perfect for hanging out around the long counter/island with open concept into the livingroom. The boat was great to do a chilly ride around to check out the site. The beds were super comfy and the place was very clean. Would highly recommend!

Rarely is a house in person as it is in pictures. This one was. Never perfect, but you always hope for new/clean and comfortable. We rented this 2-story knowing we would not be able to use the 2nd floor/stairs, due to a disability. But we found we did not need the upper floor at all. We slept in the lower bunks of 2 bunk beds and had a/c in the room. Bathroom shower was a bit hard for our use and bathroom very small, as well as some attention was needed (spiders indoors and outdoor furniture (dirty) and geese were an issue, but we used the hot tub. And large center island in kitchen - very nicely new. We were house hunting so we were not there as much as we would have liked. I would stay here again, and anyone seeking a nice house with available boat should highly consider this property.

All of us sisters/ nieces came in to relax before my baby sister got married. We enjoyed the lake and sitting around the fire. We made breakfast, lunch, and dinner and had enough pans for everything!! Communication with the property manager was on point. Can't wait to return.

The house is beautiful and it is wonderful to be right on the lake with a boat! The outside areas are not as nice as the house and could use some really good cleaning and updates but over all the place is fabulous!

The house was spacious enough to accommodate 8 people, including two small children. The bedrooms were a good size and comfortable. The living area and kitchen were large enough to maneuver around. The kitchen was well stocked. Having a wash and dryer was a plus especially with small kids. The non-carpeted floors were dirty and there was a wad of black hair in the first-floor bathroom shower drain. The outdoor space great. A large grassy area for kids to run around in. However, you had to contend with goose and duck droppings. Several outdoor seating areas in and out of the sun. The property had a canoe, kayaks, paddle boards but there was not a good area to launch them into the water. A pontoon boat was also included. The pontoon boat was a necessity if you wanted to go swimming. Some of the days the sandy beach across the lake was unusable for small children because of the goose droppings. Instead, we went to Grand Haven State Park on Lake Michigan were the bleach was clean. Overall, a good location that was in close proximity to other cities.

We had a terrific time at this house. Check in was a breeze and they provided the pontoon, paddle boards, and kayaks. The water was the main draw, but there’s lots to do nearby. Everyone enjoyed going to the farmers market, picking blueberries, shopping in Grand Haven, and touring a submarine and Coast Guard ship.

We loved the home, the pontoon, the fire pit and our time together in Norton Shores, on Mona Lake. The weather was warm enough that we skipped the hot tub, but sure loved the sunsets on the lake! Hope to stay again!

We loved the cleanliness and space that this property offered. The hot tub was such a wonderful addition to some chilly nights along with the fire pit. This house doesn’t have a beach but a very nice pontoon to go around the lake with plenty of places to dock and enjoy the sand. We really enjoyed our stay

We were so SO IMPRESSED by our stay! Such amazing communication with us! The house was super cute! Decorated well, stocked, had all we needed and there was plenty to do! The pontoon boat was our all time favorite! Kids and adults enjoyed fishing, casual rides and even jumping off for a swim! This place was top notch! Perfect place to celebrate our parents 50th anniversary! Highly reccomend!

Place was so clean, and well appointed. Kim did a great job communicating, making sure we knew where things were and how they worked. Enjoyed the boat, hot tub, and neighbors. Would stay again!

We had the most amazing time celebrating my sisters Bachelorette party! The house was perfect and was stocked with everything you could think of. The hosts were so nice and went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing time. Everything was so clean, the boat and hot tub were a perfect addition to our stay. If you’re looking for a quiet spot on the lake for all ages, this has to be it. BEAUTIFUL home. We had 7 adults: 2 young married couples, 2 divorced middle aged, and one almost 90 year old. It was the perfect spot. We caught some great fish out on the pier. Took the pontoon for a few rides. Sat in the hot tub and enjoyed the outdoor patio. Inside was a huge kitchen for cooking meals and open concept. HEATED FLOORS! The beds were comfy. We have nothing negative to say about the space. Kim-the property manager was awesome and worked with us well! We hope to return!

I loved this house, the property was perfect , everything was great, my family lives near there and came to visit and hang out. When I travel from now on I would love for this place to be my home away from home.

My 3 friends and I loved staying at the boathouse/cottage this weekend! It was very well kept and comfortable allowing us to enjoy our time together! The property manager was great also when we had to reschedule in the fall due to COVID!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Mona lake. It was relaxing but also had convince of being close to things. Loved the beds, living room, views and hot tub ;)

Great place for our family Thanksgiving. Everyone had their own space and the outdoor area had lots of different sitting areas. Nice hot tub and we actually went kayaking Thanksgiving morning. Would definitely rent again. This place would be perfect for a summer getaway. Thanks for sharing your place with us.

The place was super cute! There’s a lot there to do in the summer. We stayed in October so it was pretty chilly and we mostly stayed indoors, but we had a great girls weekend!

This is our second year staying at Mona Lake for our birthday weekend. Lovely property and FABULOUS amenities. We spent most of our time paddleboarding on the lake, cruising on the boat, and relaxing in the hot tub. Kim was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Can't wait to return again next year! :)

Booking and check in were easy and no surprise fees. The home was well decorated and clean, many amenities and full use of the Pontoon boat. Communication was easy and the property manager was wonderful! Decent sized lake for water sports and fishing. You can't go wrong with this wonderful property in Norton Shores!

We had a blast staying at the property. Very close to Lake Michigan and plenty of things to do on the lake or at the house. Great interior for cooking and hanging out and awesome outside area for playing games and enjoying the lake.

We had a small family reunion at the cottage, and it was the perfect lake location. The pontoon seems like its almost new, we had a great time breezing up and down the lake and going to the small beach area on Mona Lake. The house was great and had everything we needed for the adults and kids. Kim was super communicative and welcoming. Thank you!

We loved being on the lake! The pontoon boat was beautiful and between that and the paddle boards and kayaks, we had plenty to enjoy. The jacuzzi and fire pit were an added bonus! We'd stay here again.
