We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely villa with its stunning views. A very warm welcome from Elisabeth and Pierre got our week off to a great start. The infinity pool with its view of the sea is truly wonderful - difficult to tear yourself away. We also enjoyed watching sunsets from the roof terrace. Walked into Tamariu a couple of evenings to eat although the return uphill journey was a challenge with full stomachs and after a few drinks! Really enjoyed a visit to Begur on market day, exploring the narrow streets and had an excellent lunch here. Also enjoyed the easy coastal walk at Llafranc and one day we walked to the nearby beach of Aigua Blava for a swim but have to admit the return walk was a struggle in the heat. Elisabeth and Pierre were great hosts and responded quickly to any queries. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful house.

Elizabeth and Pierre were very welcoming and the property was exactly as described. It’s a great location for accessing this lovely region and there was a good level of information provided. The villa has a great vista and is perfect for sunbathing and relaxing. A few local restaurants in the town and many more just a short drive away. Overall excellent, better suited to older children rather than the very young.

Fantastic pool, awesome views from the back and front of the villa, amazing location! A great holiday enjoyed by all ages…2yrs to 86 years. Lots of steps though, you need to be quite fit but it’s a good way to work off the fab food from the nearby restaurants!

The views from the villa are wonderful and the property is five star. We had a really enjoyable holiday. Both Elisabeth and Pierre were great hosts who helped us make the most of our trip.

We had an amazing week at this incredible villa. Gorgeous inside, it is quiet and restful, and the view over the infinity pool and sea is spectacular, and just as in the pictures. I found it a stunning place to swim, and also just to sit and watch the boats go by. At the back of the house are views of verdant forest. We watched the sunset here, and at dusk, saw a few bats flying among nearby trees. A magical experience. The house is kitted out with everything you need, including a coffee machine, washing machine, dishwasher, and air conditioning. We also appreciated the beach parasols and bats and balls in the garage, which the owners were happy for you to borrow for beach trips. The location is great too, around 10 minutes drive from Begur, a beautiful historic town, which also is where you'll find the nearest large supermarket. There are multiple beaches nearby. We particularly loved Aigua Blava, a sandy beach a few minutes drive away where you can swim in crystal clear waters, and Llafranc, larger but still small enough to be very pretty and where you can hire paddle boards and kayaks. Nearby Tamariu has two little Spar stores plus beachside restaurants, and you can also buy fresh bread at the bakers/ cafe. You can walk into Tamariu – it's about 20 minutes downhill from the villa, though bear in mind that the road is pretty steep in places so going back is definitely more of a challenge. Elisabeth and Pierre were very welcoming and quick to reply with any queries. I would definitely recommend staying in this gorgeous house.

It has been a lovely experience!

We had a truly magical two weeks in this lovely home. From our initial tour of the house and greeting from Elisabeth we were made to feel at home. The sea views from the villa were stunning and every day we spent time outside in the terrace enjoying watching the activities taking place in the bay or at the back of the villa watching the sun set. The night time views were spectacular under a full moon. We were even treated to an eclipse of the moon during our stay. The villa was very well equipped with all modern conveniences and we had everything we could ever need. It is well situated and has been designed to make the most of the local sea breezes but also has air conditioning of required. In addition to being very well stocked with crockery and all the utensils you could ever need there were also an abundance of cleaning materials. The villa is set up high and has a lift for taking up suitcases and food items (very useful as there are a number of steps). A short drive away are all local amenities including a choice of four super markets. Lots of lovely restaurants and bars all within easy reach. The local beach, Aigua Blava, was a few minutes away by car and only cost €3 per day. The swimming there was lovely in the crystal clear waters. I would heartily recommend this lovely home to others. When you’re a big family it is not easy to make everybody happy. But this marvellous villa was just the right place for us and our four children ranging from 9 to 20 years of age. Relaxing at the pool, the magnificent view over the sea, terraces all around the house where you could always find shade, sun, wind whatever you wanted. The house has no air conditioning, but it is right on top oft he hill and there was always fresh air blowing through the wonderful minimalistic rooms. Elisabeth and Pierre ware great hosts, we all felt at home. And we will come back...

Nice house, no airconditioning, only fans available in the sleeping rooms (little bit to warm for the kids), great swimming pool, magnificent areas to visit (Begur, Perratalada, Pals) Nice dining in Tamariu, great view on several beaches but no fine sand and the beaches are small. A little bit more cleaning in the house according the ladies but it was ok (our standards are high :) ) Overall a very good holliday!
