N/A, Long list of issues we had at this property

Villa Trung expected 50% deposit within 1 week of booking and to be paid in Vietnamese currency. NOT per Booking.com rules. Villa Trung CANCELLED our booking when we did not pay the 50% deposit without notifying us. We are from Australia, so how on earth are we expected to pay a 50% deposit in Vietnamese currency? Besides, due to the large number of scams, there is no way we were going to pay 50% sight unseen. We were a group of 10. Imagine our surprise when we were already in Vietnam and a week out we logged into Booking.com to check our booking and found or accommodation booking was CANCELLED. Suddenly we had to scramble to find alternative accommodation, luckily for us, Villa Trung had something else available, although at a higher price $ than what we had originally booked. Accommodation was dirty. There is NO heating in the accommodation. No spare blankets. Forced to wear clothes to keep warm in bed at night. Too few kitchen utensils, plates/bowls/cutlery/cups/glasses/knives for chopping. Should accommodate for the number of people staying NO hot water in room B4 for the entire stay, showers & bathroom sink only ever got luke warm at best Accommodation old/dated, furniture old/dirty. Pantry shelves dusty 2nd hand (used) thongs/slip on provided to wear inside the accommodation. Stinky, used dish cloth provided. Only 1 tea towel provided. Should be new and fresh, not soiled and re-used NO mops to dry floors after showers or bathroom mats. Rubbish bags provided DID NOT fit the rubbish bin. No TV in any rooms, only 1 TV in the common lounge Not enough towels provided for the duration of the stay. We had 10 people staying 3 nights with only 1 small towel each Pillows too small and only 1 pillow provided for each bed No hand towels or face washers provided No Ironing board. Iron provided was dated and filthy Small inadequate broom provided. NO dust pan to sweep the dirt into to take outside NO key for outside room next to B4.
