The outlook was superb. The host was very friendly and personable. Everything was pritine clean and presented well. The breakfast was very generous. Altogether, it is a lovely peaceful place with everything one needs and more.

Chris was a friendly but not intrusive host and provided a delicious and generous breakfast . Our room was well appointed and had spots to relax and unwind overlooking the beautiful garden . A very comfortable bed and quiet location meant we slept soundly and woke refreshed . Yet it was close , walking distance, to the main street cafes and restaurant and allowed us to do walks from the house . A short drive to Mt Macedon for some more lovely bushwalks and cafes.

Loved every minute! Just gorgeous! Chris made me feel so welcome and the apartment was fantastic! So clean and the most beautiful view of the greenery outside.

What a beautiful stay at Hollyhock B&B! One of the best night's sleep I've had in ages, the bed was so comfortable. Everything was so clean and well presented - it showed that old fashioned 'extra care' in all elements. Breakfast was delicious, love a fresh berry compote with my cereal!

The privacy of being the only guests. The magnificent gardens and views of them from the room, the beautiful bird life that adorned the garden and veranda! The breakfast was fabulous, everything was clean and it was a delightful stay.

We liked everything about our one night stay at Hollyhock (except the weather which was quite miserable unfortunately). The room was a good size, well maintained, and lovely and cosy, with both ducted heating controlled from the main house and an independent R/C AC, as well as heat lamps in the bathroom!! The views of the garden were really nice from the enclosed verandah, which also let in plenty of light despite the gloomy day outside. There was a DVD player as well as Netflix and guest Wifi available for use. Chris was a lovely host, she welcomed us on check in, cooked us up an amazing breakfast the following morning, and caught up with us before we headed off to make sure our stay had been enjoyable.
