The host was very nice and continuously checked to see how things were going. With this being just outside Charleston it was absolutely perfect!

This stay was beyond expectations! The photos do not fully encapsulate the experience. David was a very accommodating and prompt professional host . All booking and stay information was effectively communicated , efficient and easily accessible. David was accommodating to the times of our stay especially at short notice. The room itself was spotless, perfectly adorned and spacious. Perfect Air conditioning to escape the heat . The outdoor deck and patio were perfect. Approximately 10mins give or take from Folly Beach and close to stores , restaurants etc. I booked this suite as a gift and they absolutely loved it! Thank you.

The Island Nest property was exactly as described.It was spotlessly clean and comfortable.There was a lot of parking, and the visitors in the other two units were quiet and never disturbed us in any way. However, the road in front was often very busy making it difficult to hear the tv on the deck- not really a deal breaker!The location is close to Folly Beach and getting to downtown Charleston is not a problem.The property owners were very attentive and helpful and were available to answer questions.

The place is as advertised. The location is great. We loved the outdoor sitting area. We’ll definitely be back!

This rental is as described. We were looking for a quiet low key rental between Folly and Downtown Charleston. The best part of the rental was the bed/pillows and jacuzzi tub. The road it’s on is pretty busy, so we didn’t really spend but an hour on the deck as it was a little noisy. However, the patio is very nice and we would have enjoyed it otherwise. There is good communication so there is zero chance that you’d have to reach out with any questions. Lastly, I would advise you to leave the rental 15mins before checkout, as the cleaning crew will be ready to enter early. To summarize, we had a comfortable stay and we were in a good location in relation to the places we wanted to visit.

Very comfortable place to stay in a great location, minutes from Charleston and the beach. Took a day trip to Savannah less than 2 hours away. A great spot, we'll be back.

This is a great property with an overall good location in the Charleston area. We easily accessed Charleston, North Charleston, Mt. Pleasant and Folly Beach. The hosts were very easy to contact, instructions were detailed and provided for an easy self check in and check out process. Accommodations were as advertised and the tub was great after a full of day of walking and touring the area! The outdoor kitchen may not be for everyone if you are planning to cook all your meals. However, if you plan to eat your larger meals out or you are used to cooking in an outdoor kitchen, the Island Nest is a fantastic place! We highly recommend you trying it!

This was the perfect spot for our honeymoon in Charleston. The property was private, cozy, and romantic, yet it was plenty spacious enough for 2 people. It's also in a super convenient location- only 10-15 minutes from downtown Charleston or the beach. It was nice to be able to go out on excursions and come back to our quiet nest in the evenings. David, the property manager, was quick to respond to any questions we had as well. We would absolutely stay here again.

Road/car noise was only negative and it was not terrible. Strong white noise should do the trick. Everything else was really great. Id stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay! The extras, like beach chairs, towels, etc. made going to the beach a breeze. The location was perfect and the guidebook David put together makes check in and out dummy proof!

Very nice quiet secure location that is close to everything in and around Charleston. Especially enjoyed the jetted tub and outdoor kitchen.

Cozy room with a jacuzzi tub and a nice grill setup. Great way to have steaks and relax. Definitely a place I would recommend and will definitely return for another getaway.

My husband and I booked our honeymoon to Charleston. This was the perfect experience. The host was so accommodating and wanted to ensure we had the best experience. My favorite part was the king sized bed and jacuzzi tub, my husband's was, of course, the outside kitchen with the TV. It was perfect for an evening on the porch to watch football. Overall our stay was more than amazing, and we hope to use this host and location when we book our next Charleston trip!!

Perfect space for our family trip. Enjoyed the outdoor kitchen for when local friends visited. Hosts are awesome, attentive; we felt so welcome!

The property was located in a decent spot which provides convenience to downtown Charleston and Folly Beach. The overall cleanliness was satisfactory, but not above average. The shower had mold inside door and a wood plank to stand on which felt slimy. The toilet ran if the handle wasn’t wasn’t lifted after each flush. Minor items need repaired, door handle falling off of bathroom door and the grill and outdoor sink was not clean. The outdoor patio was comfortable, but the traffic was loud if trying to watch tv. The outdoor space overall needs cleaned up. Looks a little junky.

The property was cute and cozy. We enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and it was very quiet. The bed was awesome! However the toilet was to low. I struggled because of sciatica and knee pain. Overall I would recommend this property .

This property was the perfect place for our anniversary trip to the Charleston area. It is perfectly situated between the city of Charleston and Folly Beach, making it easy to spend the day at the beach followed with a fancy dinner downtown. The outdoor space is great for lounging and cooking. We started every day by cooking breakfast on the outdoor flattop grill. Accommodations are nice and the host is great at communication. 100% would recommend.

Everything from the first contact until the last with this host has been spectacular and extremely responsive. The space itself was very clean, easy to the downtown area and safe. They have a key fob remote that opens and closes a gate to the compound. Keyless entry and well lighted area. We will rent here again.

We loved our stay at the island nest. The outdoor kitchen is reminiscent of international travels, with all the comforts of home.

Great place, clean convenient. Love the outdoor deck. Only downfall is traffic noise but this is coming from someone who lives in the country. Would recommend this place to friends

Great location right between Charleston city and Folly beach. It was a great experience!

Nice spot. The deck wasn’t so useful for us, and was too covered in pollen and dust to use. Nice to have coffee provided and the location was nice and easy for us to get around to Charleston and the spots we were visiting.
