The cabin was wonderful; super clean; kitchen very well equipped. My teenage children loved the loft, having their own space. I would recommend to anyone. We would love to come back.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at s'mores amore cabin. Carrie reached out at check in and was very responsive and helpful. The cabin was very clean and well stocked, we were very impressed! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the screened in porch and the firepit. The cabin is close to town which made it easy to go out for meals and shopping on Main street. We also really appreciated the 11am check out time. We highly recommend this cabin and hope to come back!

The property was very clean, updated, very well supplied, comfortable living conditions in mountain retreat. Appliances in excellent condition, comfortable furniture and bedding. Wi-Fi connection good.

My family and I stayed there for a local wedding. The cabin was a great refuge from the craziness. The manager/owner was very responsive to any questions.

We had the best time staying at this cabin. It's super cute well equipped with all essentials need as most rental are always short. The owner of this cabin has thought about all little details that most rental don't think about it to make your stay very special. We had a little incident that was my fault for not communicating with the host and she was very friendly and understandable. We work it out to a great solution. Would def. go back and referrer it out with absolute no doubt.

We were a party of four (two couples) who spent a beautiful weekend in the mountains at this cabin. Overall we were very impressed with the listing and accommodations; the property was very clean and well-stocked, especially the kitchen. We used the fire pit (thank you for the fire starters and s’mores sticks!) as well as the grill for a steak night. The screened-in porch was our favorite spot overlooking the woods; we spent a couple of nights there with wine and enjoyed watching deer nearby. It was nice having two bathrooms, though visitors would need to bring their own shampoo/conditioner. There was parking space for two vehicles, including one covered spot. We didn’t think neighbors were too close, and it was nice enjoying the quiet of the woods without feeling too alone. The main thing to note is that this cabin is a solid 45-minutes away from downtown Asheville (the listing says 30) in the town of Burnsville, so the location was a little inconvenient for some of the farther activities that we had planned. The property is also located a way’s off the main road up a one-way hill, which was fine for us, but driving at night might be difficult and an AWD vehicle would be needed in certain weather conditions. Overall we’d rank this a 4.5-star stay and had a great time!

The home is perfectly appointed, and better than the description. The owners take great care to make sure everything goes well, keeping in contact and answering any questions so quickly. The home is comfortable without being 'fussy' with lots of thoughtful extras (screened porch, fire pit, s'mores sticks, labeled remotes). You can tell it's a home, and not just a rental, and that they want you to relax and have no worries. Quiet neighborhood, ample parking, and a quick drive into town. We would 100% stay again! Oh, and the outdoor motion lights only went off if we went by to our car at night - which is super nice because it's pitch black dark, gloriously light free up there, perfect for star gazing!

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and well equipped for anything we could have needed. The screened in porch was great for winding down after a busy day exploring but neighbors were a lot closer than we expected them to be so privacy wasn’t what you’d think it would be. There was also a motion light outside that shinned in the bedroom window waking us up multiple times. Some mini blinds would go a long way towards eliminating that. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would book here again

This was my second time staying here. There had been quite a few upgrades since I had been. Everything you need is available for you. I really enjoyed my stay with my spouse and friends. The owners go beyond to make sure you have a wonderful, relaxing home like stay!

The cabin was very clean and ready to go. The owners have everything you can possibly imagine ready for your use from a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, seasonings for your food, internet, tv, cold a/c to firewood for the fire pit. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this cabin to anyone visiting Burnsville.

A cabin in a secluded wood where the nights are quiet and the view of mountains goes for miles. Also a modern home with all of the conveniences and appliances you'd expect from a nicely appointed condo. Felt like home to us. Well done

We loved the cabin, especially the screened in porch and area for the fire! We had deer come up the two nights we had a fire! The owners really thought of everything, we appreciated the smart tv with use of Netflix and Hulu! Great spot, felt secluded which is exactly what we were looking for yet it’s close enough to hiking and the Biltmore/Asheville area! Loved it and hope to come back again!

Our goal in coming here was to relax, unwind and chill. This lovely cabin and its fabulous porch was just the place! The screened porch feels like being in the woods. It is so quiet and relaxing. Proximity to Burnsville is great and we always do our part to support the local economy! This cabin-home is so inviting. The kitchen is wonderful, fully supplied and functional. The appliances are excellent. Master bedroom very comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised by how well internet and tv worked. The living room furniture is very comfortable. We look forward to returning.

We were looking for a place to escape from the craziness of life for a few days and this property was perfect for us. The screened in porch was perfect for morning coffee, breakfast and conversation as well as relaxing after the days activities. The firepit was the perfect place to be each evening as the sun went down - very quiet surroundings. The house was clean, well furnished and had everything we needed and then some - this was one of the best provisioned properties we have ever been to! Check in was quick, convenient and easy. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a very comfortable relaxing get away!

My first experience with VRBO. Brought my family up to Burnsville to enjoy a few days away from the oppressive SC summer heat. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the cabin and its layout. We lost our dad in March as Covid started. I Promised him one final trip to North Carolina where he did his gem hunting that’s what this trip was about the cabin was beautiful secluded it help us grow closer together as a family it let us have the privacy to grieve and communicate without neighbors and then walls as a motel would provide it was just a great place to be and we will do it again next year. Dad came to North Carolina for the past 18 years collecting germs and creating amazing friends down in Rio does Jen mind if we brought Dad with us and they did an amazing memorial for him while we were there and we left a piece of Dad in North Carolina it was his second home thank you very much for helping us through this with your amazing cabin

We loved spending Thanksgiving away from it all in the Edwards' little mountain getaway. Everything was perfect. If visiting in the winter months, be sure to have a car with 4WD/equipped with proper tires. It's a steep, narrow road to get to the cabin!
