My family and I enjoyed our stay at Debbie's property. It was as advertised and a 5 minute walk to the beach. The house is situated in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood and had plenty of space. Debbie was very responsive as a host. The only downside was there was no soap or shampoo provided. There was barely enough handsoap provided either. Also, there were ants in the master bathroom. But these are small issues. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay and I would recommend this to a family seeking a quiet, relaxing getaway close to the beach.

We loved many things about this property. The patio shown in the pictures was a delightful place to relax and enjoy the sun. The neighborhood is really quiet at night which is great for sleeping. The place was super clean and the kitchen had everything we could want to make meals. The on-demand hot water heater meant no waiting between showers. The owners were very responsive whenever we needed something, so that was great. The reason the overall rating is 4 instead of 5 is that there is no comfortable place to sit in the house. The low back on the couch makes sitting very uncomfortable. The seat cushions on the armchairs seem deflated or missing so they aren't comfortable either. One of us found the bed way too soft and had trouble sleeping on it. More comfortable furniture would make this a wonderful place to stay.

We stayed at Debbie’s wonderful home for three nights over the new year holiday. The home is very spacious and well appointed to meet all of our needs. The kids enjoyed playing a variety of board games, the adults had books and TV! The kitchen had all the necessary items for us to cook! The home is located at a very quiet street and is near the beaches. We didn’t venture to the beaches due to the high surf as a result of the atmospheric river. Communication with the hosts was also very easy. Highly recommend this home.

Our communication with Debbie the owner was easy and effective before, during, and after our stay. The house was perfect for our stay with four adults and two teenagers, very roomy and comfortable. House is in a great neighborhood and close to the beach. After our stay one of our party was missing their keys and believed they left them at the house. I contacted Debbie and she made sure that the housekeepers searched for the keys. The keys were found and Debbie mailed them the same day and wouldn’t even let us reimburse her for the postage. We were very pleased with our stay here and our interactions with Debbie. Look forward to staying here again soon.

We stayed in Oxnard for a few nights to visit the Channel Islands. Unfortunately we had a lot of rainy weather but the location of the house was perfect for all of the activities we had planned. My young kids could walk to the beach and the playground nearby. The kitchen was nicely updated and everything was very clean. My husband wasn’t a fan of the very soft beds but it didn’t bother me. Overall I thought it was a good value for a 3 bedroom house and we would stay here again.

This is a lovely place to stay within walking distance of the beach. The neighborhood is well cared for and the people seemed friendly. We loved the bikes and boogie boards. There was plenty of room for our family of 5 to be comfortable.

This home way surpassed our expectations. It was so much more spacious and beautiful then the pictures could show, and literally a less then 5 minute walk to the beach. The host was amazing and so helpful and responsive. We were so over the moon with this rental, I couldn’t recommend it enough.

House is in a nice area, close to beach, comfy, and the beds were quite nice. Ants were a problem ( don’t leave food out, need to have it in sealed containers). Kitchen was good and decently stocked. The owner was quite good in answering questions, would stay there again.

Great vacation house for the family with kids. Great neighborhood near the marina. We enjoyed using the bikes and beach equipment.

We've been vacationing in this area for several years now and are so happy to have found this home. We loved the comfort of the house, the well-stocked kitchen (everything we needed to really cook and serve a meal), and appreciated the great and prompt communication with Debbie. Beautiful beach house.

Friendly owner, quiet neighborhood, close to commerce and stores, warm home environment. There is no A/C was the only problem.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property and will definitely be back!! Everything was exactly as we expected it. The house is adorable, the beds were comfortable and the location was great as well!! The host was so easy to communicate with too! Can't wait to come back again soon.

Debbie’s home in Oxnard was the perfect location for our 3 day getaway. Really we couldn’t have asked for a better spot. The house was clean and had all amenities we needed. The front yard seating and fire pit was great in the evenings. The neighborhood felt safe and the location was just perfect being a short 3-4 min. walk to the uncrossed beach. We would love to come back (soon)!!

Great location right near the beach. Lovely neighborhood with nice outdoor space, albeit not necessarily private. House could stand a few updates but generally a nice property. Property manager was very responsive.
