From the time we met our host to the day we left we LOVED this apartment. The location alone is worth every $$ we paid. The quiet neighbourhood, walking distance to explore the city and of course the rooftop view of the Acropolis were beyond expectations. We were 3 couples travelling together and the apartment was spacious, lots of places to relax and unwind. Highly recommended this apartment

We stayed in the penthouse of A.U.R.A., Which includes a pool and a stunning view of the acropolis day and night. Gracious host. Marianne looks out for everything you need. Spacious rooms, beautiful upgrades.

We were only in Athens for 3 days but had a very large group. There were 6 adults and 5 children. The pool was amazing after we did our sight seeing and the property was so clean. We loved the neighborhood and felt very safe.

Fabulous property with a spectacular view of the Acropolis from the rooftop pool area. Perfect location - quiet area and easy walking distance to main attractions. Property managers were lovely & friendly; super helpful with providing information and offering support if needed, as well as organising taxis for us when we went a bit further afield & transfers to the airport. Gave some fabulous recommendations for a couple of restaurants (our absolute favourite was Kuzina!) Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We stayed at Marianne's beautiful, central apartment for 3 nights. With roof views of the Acropolis and a private pool, this was heaven. The aparment is huge and spacious. Marianne and her property manager Eva were always available and helpful. The location is perfect with the Acropolis entrance only a 5 minute walk and easy access to so many of Athen's other gems all within a short walking distance. I could not imagine a better place to stay in this wonderful city. Sincerely Andrew

We had a wonderful stay at Marianne’s apartment! It was clean, spacious and Marianne was incredibly helpful and responsive. We also loved the neighborhood!

This is the perfect location in Athens! We were a family of 12 with 6 adults and 6 children ages 5-9. We could walk to the Acropolis and several other historical sites, restaurants, and shops. The restaurants were all rated very highly. There was a bakery two blocks away that sells coffee, fresh homemade pastries, cookies, etc. and a local grocery store across from that. I highly recommend going there. The property itself was very clean and safe. Marianne is very sweet and accommodating. She greeted us with fresh baked goodies and helped me with getting groceries. On the down side, There is a washer but no dryer. Clothes dried on a drying rack quickly though. Only one set of towels was given to each family member to use for 4 days. If you are traveling with children there is a mandatory quiet time 2:30 - 5:30. We could not use the pool at that time and had to do quiet things inside. We were not told this until arrival. In general, we were very pleased and would recommend staying there.

Marianne has created the perfect penthouse for a large group. Well appointed and in excellent working order. The neighborhood is historical, quaint, clean and super hospitable with authentic Greek restaurants along the way to a short walk to the Parthenon. Thank you Marianne for going above and beyond the call of duty. Your gardens and terrace are breathtaking as well as the view. Everything was amazing! Location, Marianne, Amenities and Pool! Fabulous!

We were greeted with a tour of the property by our host. She showed us how everything worked and answered any questions we had about the property and the area. The villa itself was excellent. Very clean and well furnished. Easily accommodated myself and 6 other guests. Loved the rooftop patio and pool. Great view of the Acropolis from the rooftop as well. Looks real nice lit up at night. The neighborhood was great. A little bar across the street and some great pizza at Dolce Mondo a couple doors down. About a 10 minute walk to Monastiraki Square (just enough time to finish your Freddo Cappuccino!). Everything was pretty walkable actually. Didn’t use a vehicle our entire time there and we went to just about all the sites. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

Our stay here was perfect! Marianne was a great host from the beginning of our booking until our farewells on our last day. The apartment was perfect for our large family group including an 18 month old and 8 adults. Our views from both the glassed-in dining area and the rooftop patio were breathtaking. The beds were very comfortable, living area was large and the total space was immaculate. Bakeries, restaurants and a market are steps away. The location and beauty of the street made this location extra special. Marianne and her assistant Eva also assisted with our transfers/transportation which made local travel very easy. Thank you again Marianne for hosting us!

The property was amazing. Very comfortable, clean, well laid out and in a great location. We couldn’t have asked for better. And the property owner and her assistant were amazing, they were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They made our stay so much more than it would have been. They helped us out above and beyond what you would normally expect. We are looking forward to be able to go back.

We traveled with two adult families for the holiday and the property location was excellent to walk into town, restaurants, ruins and shopping felt very safe and liked that we were so close to walk everywhere.. Two Michelin Star restaurants that were excellent, great bakery a block away and grocery store a block away. The view of Acropolis from the Penthouse is stunning and we really enjoyed the roof top deck with pool, even in December. Couldn't have asked for a better location and home that was welcoming, spacious and fit the 7 adults comfortably. Would definitely stay again if opportunity arose. Marianne was a joy to meet and work with.

This property was even better than advertised. Spacious, clean, and excellent location in City Center.

The property came as advertised and was everything we wanted in a rental while in Athens. We loved the pool area and spent most of our waking hours (while at the apartment) in and around the pool—a perfect place for the sunrise, sunset, and view of the Acropolis. The neighborhood was a gem with all the amenities we wanted and needed; especially the wine bar and the restaurant located across the street from the apartment. The apartment also was in an ideal location within the city as we only had a 10 to 20-minute walk to all of the top attractions and neighborhoods. Lastly, Marianne made everything incredibly easy from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. She was caring, friendly, informative, and welcoming. We felt very fortunate to have met her and plan to visit her again the next time we are in Athens. I highly recommend taking advantage of this fantastic place in the neighborhood of Thissio.

Marianne is fabulous and so is her property. It is located in a great neighborhood that is easily accessible to a variety of restaurants and attractions. The view is impeccable and so is the care that she puts into her guests and property.

Do not let this get away! The 2 story apartment in a beautiful family neighborhood close to great restaurants, across the street from coffee shops and close to the pedestrian walkway that is an easy walk to the Acropolis, Monasataraki and the Plaka neighborhoods!! Marianne is an exceptional host who gladly provides any direction, advise and arranged not only our airport transportation, but also a chef, who cooked for us the first night we arrived! Marianne spent time explaining every aspect and feature of this incredible apartment that is not only beautiful, but spacious, clean, with enough bathrooms for four women, comfortable beds, a beautiful modern kitchen and the most incredible view of the Acropolis from the front sunroom and the beautiful rooftop deck with pool. We were four women traveling together and this was our last stop on a 2 week vacation that was the perfect end of a glorious vacation! Marianne and Eva are friendly, helpful and professional. You will be very happy staying at this exceptional apartment!

We stayed here for a week and loved it. The property lives up to its listing and is amazing. Great views, great facilities and a great location. Marianne and Eva were absolutely fantastic in supporting our needs. One of our group had a fall whilst we were on holiday and Marianne was fantastic in provide advice and support to enable us to get through the holiday and be reassured. I would recommend this property for a great holiday.

The penthouse with the pool was awesome for 9 adults. Marianne was an excellent host that provided excellent recommendations for sight seeing and arranged transportation from/to the airport. The property is close to all amenities and walking distance to the Acropolis. Truly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

Marianne looked after us very well and provided a very professional service. The pool deck was amazing with incredible day and night-time views of the Acropolis and had outdoor dining option on it. Kept nice and cool by the new air con units for the apartment block- costing 40,000 euros and fitted 2 days before we arrived. Ample space , comfort and privacy for our family group of 12.

We had a wonderful day at this property! Marianne was a very helpful hostess and accommodating to our group. We had two families (9 total) along with our mother and we had plenty of space for all of us. The apartment is beautiful, modern and clean and in a perfect location for hitting all the sites of Athens! It was great having a washing machine in the unit to get some last minute clothes cleaned before heading to the island. Bakery, grocery store and restaurants all nearby within easy walking distance. We hope to stay here again!

This penthouse was immaculate and in a great location, walking distance to many attractions. Pool was wonderful after day of sightseeing, with Acropolis view ! Marianne and staff were the best, so helpful with everything ! Cannot recommend enough !

Our stay was spectacular! The property was very spacious and immaculate with great views and everything in the apartment was in great working order. The kitchen appliances are all top-notch including the full-size refrigerator which our group of 9 really appreciated! You can't find a better prime Athens location with the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum, grocery stores, bakeries, coffee shops and excellent restaurants all within a very short scenic walk. We were amazed at how quiet the street and apartment are given the close proximity to all the major tourist sites! The rooftop pool is private, has amazing views and is a great place to relax with your group during the day or in the evening. Marianne is truly a super host: she personally greets you and is an expert at explaining to you everything you need to know about the apartment, pool, places to eat and sights to see; Marianne even recommended an excellent chef who prepared us a great meal in the apartment. All 9 of us totally enjoyed our stay at the AURA Penthouse and we will definitely book again when we return to Athens!

My brother and I live 600 miles apart but get our families together for vacation twice a year. COVID stunted some of that but this European Odyssey that we began planning in 2019, enjoyed its final days at this magnificent penthouse. We travelled as a group of 12 from age 13 through age 64 and everyone loved this apartment. The place is immaculate, which really pleases my wife, spacious and includes a variety of indoor/outdoor spaces. There is a glassed-in dining area that overlooks the street, a large living area on the first floor, a professional quality kitchen (a panini press, really?). There are two levels, at least 7 beds, 5 bathrooms, a gorgeous pool; Oh and a nice view of the Parthenon. The location is perfect, nice neighborhood ( dine at merceri across the street) walking distance to the Parthenon Museum and Acropolis. But the crowning jewel of this property is the manager, Marianne. She was thorough, professional, easily reachable and made every effort to insure the success of our stay. Just her connection with the transportation company was a big plus. The only negative was that we should have been able to stay longer.

Marianne’s hospitality and the quality and location of this apartment exceed expectations. Our group of 6 women spent 3 nights. Location is awesome. Pool is great to cool off after a day sightseeing. View of Acropolis at night from the roof is magical. Well lit, quiet street, lose to metro. Beds comfortable, kitchen well equipped, good water pressure and air con, lots of room to relax. Nearby a terrific bakery, grocery store, excellent restaurants, and main historical sites. Marianne arranged our airport transportation and recommended a fabulous guide, Kelly. Best VRBO I have stayed in ever!!

This apartment was lovely, we had a wonderful stay! Clean and comfortable, there was more than enough space for the six of us in this chic home. We appreciated that the pool was heated and used it to relax and enjoy after a busy day sightseeing around Athens. The apartment is very conveniently located, the Plaka and Acropolis are all walking distance, but the nicest of all was the hostess Marianne. She gave our stay a lasting memory of warm, Greek hospitality.

We had an amazing stay at Marianne's penthouse in the hip Thissio neighborhood of Athens. The location is perfect and rather quiet given the close location to the city center. The pool and roof top deck are really quite unique and offer the perfect way to unwind after a busy day of touring. Marianne is a great host and communicator. She was there to greet us, speaks great English and is really warm and friendly. Highly recommend for any group. We will be back. We loved our stay in Athens.

Marianne was wonderful, we couldn’t have asked for a better host! The location is fantastic, close to the Acropolis, a very easy walk. The apartment was fantastic and the pool at the end of the day was awesome. We were a party of seven and there was more than enough room for everyone to spread out. There are loads of good restaurants in the neighborhood. I just can’t say enough good things about this property and would stay here again if I’m back in Athens.

We cannot express our pleasure at having chosen Athens Unique Residence Apts for our visit to Athens. We were a large party of nine adults and the penthouse turned out to be the perfect location for our group and at an incredible price. Our stay was much better than any high-end hotel. It is located in a perfect location for viewing and visiting the Acropolis, a quiet neighborhood, easy walking distance to the flea markets, sights, and several of the very best restaurants in Athens. The kitchen was well equipped, and the rooms clean and the beds comfortable. And the access to the pool and deck gave us the perfect experience. It’s as if we were living as Athens locals. Marianne was fantastic, with great communication throughout, assisting with restaurant reservations, taxis, transportation, and an excellent source of recommendations and information. If we travel to Athens again, we will definitely choose A.U.R.A. over other options. Five star recommendation.
