Pristine property right on the banks of the Tennessee River w/ incredible views of the water. Busy boat traffic during the day but fun to watch the activity. My dog had a blast as well! Communication was flawless and the entire stay could not have been more comfortable. We will definitely return!

My sisters and I gathered from around the country for a long weekend to celebrate our Mom's birthday. This river location was a very relaxing and restful place to visit and reconnect. As the owner mentions in the listing, the steps down to the dock area are a bit steep, but if that's an issue for you, you don't need to go down there to enjoy the great view of the water from the screened-in patio or kitchen area. There aren't a ton of restaurants nearby, but we had a great cheeseburger at the Geezburger and drove into Rogersville (not too far) to visit the Bloom Winery, where they make local wine and had a great wood-fired pizza (pizza is currently on weekends only due to the process involved to run the pizza oven). Also, in Rogersville is a cool old lodge with a restaurant at the Joe Wheeler State Park-- just drive slowly because we saw at least a lot of deer and even a turtle slowly crossing the road.

This house has plenty of room! It's on a quiet spot on the lake, only 20 minutes from lots of restaurants in Athens. The view from the deck, the screened-in patio, and the kitchen are wonderful. We would definitely stay here again!

This house is perfect in every way, and the view is truly heavenly. From an awesome walk-in shower to super-soft bedding to a kitchen with everything a chef could appreciate, along with delightful decor and heart-warming personal touches, this house is a true VRBO treasure. My family and I had a wonderful stay. The owner decorated the house for Christmas. Even had a tree. We all slept comfortably. The lake views were stunning. A big plus is that my (adult Kids) dogs were welcomed. So it truly was a wonderful stay.

Spacious, clean, tons of amenities. Great communication, check in and out were seamless. Loved hanging out in the 3 season porch area. We had to ride out a massive storm but had fun playing ping pong and cards.

House fit all our needs for 2 couples with pets. Host had great communication.

The property is very nice and extremely quiet. Good fishing even without a boat. The property is far enough out to be quiet, but convenient to get to town.

Everything was perfect, the house was clean and the yards were neat. We loved sitting out on the deck to drink our coffee in the mornings

Our visit was so serene on the lake. It was a great rental and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Would definitely come back again!!!

House was absolutely gorgeous. We got to totally relax. Only difficulty was the steps into the lake. The bottom step is under the water, slanted and slimey. It would be helpful to have some sort of grip on it

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this waterfront home. The home is equipped with everything that you would need. The screened in back porch was our favorite place for our family to gather. The kayaks and the ping pong table was also a hit! The host was a pleasure to work with!

Our family really enjoyed the screened porch and the dock. We paddled about in the kayaks and even the dogs enjoyed swimming in the lake. We grilled out each evening and enjoyed a quiet, restful time. Well-stocked kitchen, excellent beds and fast WiFi.

The house was great! Peaceful, great views, and very helpful owner :) I was on a 2 week stay locally for work and in the middle weekend my family came to visit and we stayed at the lake house. Next time I will try to get the house for my entire stay :)

The owners were great communicating about early check-in and making sure all was ok once we arrived. The check-in process was easy. They also made sure all was well once we checked-in. When I first toured the place I was pleasantly surprised, as I’ve stayed at a few places recently that photographed well, but didn’t meet expectations once we arrived. This place was the opposite. It ended up being more than I expected. If you have pets or kids, there are green spaces they can enjoy on the street side and riverside. The latched screened-in porch is spacious enough to seat 6 comfortably, up to 12, if you have another table. The table in the kitchen seats 6 and guests inside and outside can see each other easily through the kitchen window. There is an additional open area adjacent to the kitchen you could seat more if you had another table. In other words, this place can accommodate a large family, gathering for a meal. The kitchen has your basics and the Big Green Egg grill is large. There’s a large, gas-powered flat griddle outside too. The living room ceilings are high with exposed beams, so it feels spacious. The downstairs shower is huge. Washer and dryer are downstairs. There’s a large master suite with bathroom upstairs, as well as a separate loft bed. There’s a small bedroom downstairs, as well as a large bedroom. The neighborhood is quiet and the river views are nice and peaceful. The place was clean, but not sterile. It felt like the perfect balance of a nice family home with a touch of rustic lake-side charm. We’d definitely rent again for future family reunions. Thanks!

Very close to work, very large house right on the water, and the owner was extremely accommodating with anything I may have needed. I would highly recommend this property.

Liked the Elvis lamp. Beautiful home, nice screened in porch and deck with awesome view of the lake. Nice kitchen & dining table. Celebrated or 30 wedding anniversary. Dock was nice to enjoy the evenings. Saw the otter swim by after dark. Launched my boat from Lucy branch boat launch. Caught my first blue catfish weighed 5.25 lbs was excellent eating. Was good value for rental price. Only downside are the bed mattresses are sagging in to the center, not real comfortable. Would stay again if I should have the opportunity. Gary from Pennsylvania.

We had a unique stay for the entire month of July between moves with my 2 college aged kids and me. Enjoyed almost every night on the dock watching the sunset. So nice to be on a quiet spot, not a lot of boat traffic and noise. Enjoyed a couple trips out on the double kayak that was there, and borrowed the fishing poles but had no idea how to fish. Kitchen was nicely stocked and we cooked most nights. Using the Green Egg grill was a treat! Met thousands of Mayflies and were glad thats a short season! I loved to read on the dock in the early morning, move to the deck when the sun got hot and then onto the porch for the breeze of the ceiling fans. I'm sure the owner is going to be servicing the deck soon as some of the boards were getting soft, and he said the ping pong table and paddleboard had been broken, so he will probably update the listing and remove those. The seating was comfortable and the space was perfect for our needs for the month. 35 minutes from Madison, 15-20 to Athens which provides everything you need!

We went fishing and caught catfish, bass, and perch off the boat dock. The mayflies would launch at sunset and it was so beautiful at sunset on the dock! There are two very very comfortable beds. Lots of pillows and blankets, which I love. The only short-term rental I would go back and stay again! Great place for groups.
