I don’t know what they could do to this house to make it look even more beautiful. We had an amazing stay here. The kitchen was stocked with everything a chef and baker could possibly want. The views from almost every room in the house were stunning. We had lunches and dinners out on the patio and movie nights in the family room. I saw some other reviews that mentioned no cable. This is common in the area for houses. The hosts left very good instructions for how to connect with cable through YouTube and we were able to set up all of our streaming services. So there was no problem whatsoever. I can’t wait to return to this house with friends and family.

Overall, we were happy stayed at this property and I, as a host recommend to my friends and others this place is very good , however when I booked this property the pictures and informations was exactly matched the same that I wanted, but one week before checking they mentioned that one of the shower of 3 bathrooms is out of order because of leaking, so one of my senior’s guest couldn’t use the other bath tub.

The main room offers ample room to view the lake, cook, watch the cooking, or lounge on the large sectional. The kitchen is well furnished for all types of cuisine (knives could be sharpened). The upstairs loft (2 rooms) is perfect for our teenagers and friends, while the lower level has three spacious bedrooms. We all appreciated the contemporary interior & decor! We will definitely return to stay.

This house was exactly what we wanted for our trip to donner lake. It was beautiful, clean, spacious, and very well furnished. The beds and couch was all very comfortable and we felt right at home. There are a couple of things that could make this house perfect, and they’re why I’m giving 4/5 stars. The lighting in the entire house is harsh, white light bulbs. If you’re anything like my group, lights set the entire vibe and these lights were so harsh. Thankfully we found 2 lamps in the house that had warm light bulbs and set those up in the living room, but it was too dark. I would highly recommend to the owners to swap the bulbs for soft neutral or warm lights! Secondly, the stairs that lead from the deck don’t go all the way down to the road so we had to walk down the back road to get to the water. Still doable, but would have been much easier access if the stairs went all the way! Overall I would still highly recommend this house and I will definitely book again!

We had a great weekend. We came with our adult children and grandson for weekend snow play. There was a winter storm, that closed everything down but we had so much fun playing in the snow right where we were. Our host was responsive and and made our extra night stay due to weather very easy. I just can't say enough good stuff. Beautiful inside and out.

Great location and very comfortable home. Excellent kitchen & greatroom for cooking and entertaining.

House was plenty spacious and had beautiful views of Lake Donner. For $600 per night, comfortability was a bit of an issue. The house lacked amenities. We had to go purchase TP (sandpaper) soap (size of a matchbook), shampoo (none), conditioner (none), paper towels, etc. Furniture and beds were uncomfortable and water pressure was low. It was also a warm week so we kept windows open at night and closed them around 10am and it was uncomfortably hot in the house by 2pm. For $300-$350 per night this is a great place to stay. Side note: nothing is really open in the Donner Lake area Mon-Thurs.

The house was beautiful with a beautiful view! I would definitely recommend staying here! Very close to everything and easy access to the lake.

It lived up to our expectations in all regards. The house is very spacious and has a great rustic feel with the decorations and the furniture. The kitchen was functional and reasonably stocked. We loved the balcony and the snow outside the house. The in house heating was slow to catch up the first night but the manager promptly delivered space heaters which fixed it. Overall great stay!!

Wonderful house with amazing view. Really well laid out facing the lake. Game room was key for the kids and hot tub delightful. Would highly recommend!

The place was so cozy. Perfect location, half a mile to the west side of the lake. The view from the deck is gorgeous. The hot tub was a plus. The space accommodated my family. My children loved the big connect 4 and jenga game. The master bedroom and the jet tub was amazing. My only complaint is that there was no AC and it was a hot weekend. We were sweating by 5p all the way through the night.

What an amazing property! The views were breathtaking. A paradise for sure! We had the best time just relaxing and taking in the beauty. The owner/property manager were very attentive. Location was excellant, lots of games for the kids to play, very clean. The property manager Holly was very nice to work with. Hope to be able to visit this location again. 5 STARS!

Our entire group of 8 adults was very pleased with our recent 3-night stay. The property was very clean and roomy enough for all of us to enjoy. We felt that the bed sizes in the two bedrooms seemed more like full sized beds instead of queen.

This was a great experience. Beautiful home with gorgeous views. There were a few maintenance issues but I still give this a 5 star review. Veggie sink garbage disposal smells horrible had to put drain stop in needs to be replaced. MB toilet needs new fill valve. Main floor shower leaked into downstairs bedroom. Put towel down at front floor and that stopped it. Futon bed in game room had hard time opening and couldn’t close it. None of that bothered us because everyone had a great time. Views of lake were awesome. I would definitely rent this place again if it was available next time. Thank you so much for the use of your beautiful home.

We loved our stay and thought the house was great! We did have some issues with the thermostats and heating the house. It was quite chilly but we were able to reach out for help and they responded right away. I do suggest updating that binder with better tips on using the thermostat. The hot tub was very relaxing and a perfect ending to our day. Location was great. Thank you! We will be returning :)

We absolutely loved our stay at Donner lake. The house was perfect for our large family/friend group. The house was just as pictured. Lots of space in this beautiful 3 level home. Ample, comfortable furniture, beds all comfortable, rooms nicely decorated.The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need. The only suggestions I’d make is to bring spices and coffee (they have both ground & whole bean type coffee makers). It was nice to have so many bedrooms plus a game room & living room for everyone to spread out to visit & relax.We arrived the day after nearly a week of snow from a torm. The roads were clear, but the last little hill up Reed Ave that leads to the house took a bit of time to conquer. It’s steep & was slick. One car eventually made it up using the 4 wheel drive but our second car required we put chains on to make it up to the house. It would have been nice to have been warned about that.Holly was fantastic to communicate with. She was very flexible regarding a few requests we had.We absolutely loved our stay and would love to to return in the summer’

We chose to take a quick getaway, chose the paradise property. Let me start by the communication they provided was great, email us with suggestions and basically everything that we needed to know prior to arrival. We got in town early and accommodated us with early check in. The house is in great shape and located just perfect from the lake. Beautiful views. It was so peaceful. Can’t stop talking about it.
