We had the most wonderful two week stay at 561 Sagg Main! Jim is the most gracious and attentive host and the house and grounds are spectacular. We wanted for nothing. The house was well stocked with luxurious Molton Brown bath products, gorgeous linens and towels, endless beautiful dishes and everything a cook could imagine in the wonderful chef’s kitchen. Everything was perfect. We had delicious salads everyday with fresh lettuce and vegetables from the garden. And Jim welcomed us with freshly cut flowers from the garden throughout the kitchen and family room when we arrived. We woke every morning to coffee on the lovely back porch followed by a short walk to the beach with our children and dogs. We simply could not have had a more perfect, beautiful and relaxing stay. Jim thought of everything and could not have been a more wonderful host. We are all looking forward to our next stay at 561 Sagg Main. This will be the first of many! Thank you so much, Jim!

The kitchen, vegetable/herb garden and apple trees are perfect for those of us who love to cook and bake. The bedrooms are luxurious and we love the pool house, very charming. Location is perfect, morning stroll to the beach is our daily ritual and botanical gardens and wineries are close by for a day out. The owners are personable and attentive. Waking up to the sounds of songbirds, picking vegetables from the garden, swimming in a gorgeous pool, swinging on the backporch in an afternoon daydream, relaxing by the fireplace in the evenings...those were days of pure relaxation and beauty in all surrounds. The home offers so many unique experiences: from poolside lounging to apple picking in the orchard to movie watching in the den. With so many choices it felt like we had everything that we could possibly desire at our fingertips. This variety kept us completely satisfied and also offered ways to enjoy private moments or get many friends together for that perfect celebration or event. The gardens are particularly lovely with vegetables and herbs in one spot, numerous fruit bearing apple trees in another and ornamentals at the front and back. Amongst those we found a variety of lettuces, asparagus and rhubarb from which to conjure the perfect meal in the amazing chef's kitchen. The pool offered respite from the heat of sunny days and warm evening swims after dinner. This was a truly luxurious experience that left everyone feeling refreshed and invigorated. The owners were attentive and responsive throughout our visit ensuring the estate was ready for our visit, met our expectations, and that the entire experience was truly best-in-class.

I had a wonderful time renting this very beautiful garden property surrounded by tall hedges --- complete privacy, it was like heaven. There is an ample vegetable garden to make your own farm to table dreams come true in a chef's kitchen and dining either relaxed in a breakfast room or a large formal dining room. The entire property is breathtakingly beautiful and perfectly maintained. From fresh cut flowers to Frette sheets and linen pressed for dinner. The pool house is it's own oasis I would sneak off from a house full of guests (did I mention 8 lovely bedrooms?) for a morning cup of coffee and a catch up with the Times and both afternoons and evenings are perfectly framed by a dramatically lit pool. If you are bored (who can be bored with tranquility away from the City?), it's a short 15 minute morning walk to the ocean. The owner's are delightful and extremely accommodating, although in our case there was very little to want for! I cannot recommend them enough!!
