We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay at this cabin. We knew as soon as we arrived that it is a special place! It’s gorgeous inside and out, beautifully decorated, beautiful lighting, very clean, cozy beds in all the bedrooms and we felt right at home. The property has beautiful paths all around it and there was so much room for our 3 boys to play and explore! They especially loved the swings, the frogs by the ponds and Penny Lanes. Our dog loved it too! We hiked a lot of trails in the area, and visited a few of the Finger Lakes, ate at some local restaurants and did some shopping but we always really looked forward to coming back to the cabin after our adventures. We had a fire in the fire pit every night too and got to meet Carol one evening, which was so nice! She is such a wonderful host!! Communication was awesome and I can’t say enough good things about our stay! We loved it so much that we already booked a week for next year! Thank you Carol and Lou for sharing this slice of Heaven with us!

Our family recently had the pleasure of staying at this cabin in the woods for the weekend and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a beautiful, peaceful setting that immediately put us at ease. The cabin itself was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for our family of four to spread out and relax. The decor was rustic and charming, with lots of wood accents and cozy furnishings that made us feel right at home. One of the highlights of our stay was the beautiful natural surroundings. The cabin was nestled in a wooded area, with plenty of hiking trails and scenic vistas to explore. We spent hours each day hiking, exploring, and taking in the breathtaking beauty of the area. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing vacation in a beautiful natural setting. Thank you to the owners for providing such a wonderful experience for our family!

Great cabin with all the amenities of home in a quiet wooded location. The cabin is beautifully decorated and stocked with everything you need. The grounds are very well kept including ponds and hiking trails. Conveniently located to Lakes Canandaigua and Seneca. The hosts were very nice and helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer!

This cabin is awesome, it sits in the hills of Naples NY and has its own trails and property. The cabin was impeccably clean and the owner, Carol, made you feel at home. I’m looking forward to staying again.

We stayed at the cabin with my sister-in-law and her husband. We both took our dogs and they had a blast running around the grounds. Each morning we would take them for a walk around Penny Lane and through the other paths in the woods. Firewood was provided, so each evening we would build a fire and enjoy making S'mores. The cabin was beautiful and well kept. The beds were very comfortable. The town of Naples is only a 15 min. drive, we enjoyed wine/beer tasting each day. Carol was very attentive and always quick to answer a text. As a family we are discussing when we can go back.

We so enjoyed ourselves…the owners really thought of everything. It was such a beautiful setting. We are planning to return sometime soon.

This was our second stay at this cabin. For a quiet, relaxing getaway in the woods, I can't imagine a better place. The cabin cozy but modern, with a great kitchen, fast wi-fi, and a warm wood stove. You can stay inside or hike through the woods, and if you're so inclined, it's a short drive to some excellent restaurants in Naples. The owners are friendly and accommodating. We plan to stay here again next winter.

Love this rental! Cozy, clean, warm, secluded, and relaxing. A great place to get away from it all for our family of four (2 adults; 2 teens). Especially love the wood stove for winter nights. Thank you again, Carol and Lou!

From the very beginning, Carol made this experience so easy. She and Lou are the best hosts I've come across. The communication was seamless throughout the booking/check-in/out processes. And the Cabin - wow. The pictures do not do it justice. It is so cozy and inviting with comfy couches and a great dining room table for puzzles (and for eating!). The kitchen is equally cozy and well appointed. We wanted for nothing while we were there. The Cabin is also on 5 acres of land with trails and a lot to see and investigate (just ask our dogs!!) and within walking distance of several trails! The little village of Naples is right down the hill and only a 10 minute drive away. We did a lot of running in and around the vineyards there and had the best breakfasts at the Old School Cafe. This was such a great place to disconnect, slow down, and enjoy some real time outside!

This cabin is a perfect the getaway for someone looking to relax and unwind. The inside is tastefully decorated and has all the amenities you could ever need. While the outside offers beautiful trails for hiking and fun areas for kids and pets to play. We will definitely be back!

We spent a long weekend at Carol and Lou's cabin, and we could not have asked for a better place to stay. The cabin and property are beautiful, and the cabin itself is so welcoming. We enjoyed walking the property and driving to the nearby lakes to see the sights and explore wineries. Carol was super responsive to any questions we had and both arriving and leaving the cabin was well explained and super easy. We can't wait to come back. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get away to a private location but still having access to more touristy areas. You'll fall in love with the property!

We spent a weekend around a bonfire in good company and Carol and Lou were super helpful and sweet! The property is gorgeous, close to trails and has a lovely interior to play board games with friends. It was homey and cozy, the perfect start to fall! Thank you Carol and Lou! The property and the cabin were spot on with listing. The owners were first rate. They easy to get in touch with and responded quickly. Dogs enjoyed the property and especially chasing the frogs around the pond. However, the frogs were quicker, so no loss of life.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the cabin! Amazing property, very clean, grounds very well maintained, and Carol is great! We wished it were a little bit closer to town, but the property made it worth it. Our kids (ages 6 and 8) had a great time exploring.

An initial draw of this rental was that they allowed pets, but everything exceeded our expectations. The house is beautifully decorated and there are many wonderful touches - such as frosted glasses waiting in the freezer, sharpened sticks for toasting marshmallows over the fire pit (where there are Adirondack chairs and tree stumps to hold drinks, etc), picnic table on the back porch, and a walking stick hanging over the front door. Our dogs enjoyed splashing in the pond and we spent our days almost entirely on the property- great trails for walking. A great stay for us….As our 10 year old grandson said ‘wow, this is so much better than I expected!’ -:)

This cabin is cozy and comfortable with modern amenities, so we could enjoy our getaway without getting too “rustic”. Our family of five loved having the cabin as our home base after a day of exploring the Finger Lakes region. Just as much, we loved hanging out at the cabin, playing board games, roasting marshmallows around the campfire, and taking nature walks around the property. Each detail of the house was beautifully thought out. We loved our stay here.

We wish we could keep this amazing cabin of Carol and Lou’s a secret, but we can only hope other families have the opportunity to go - whether alone or with a dog family member or with their kid(s)! Just a wonderful experience/stay from start (booking over 6 months ago) to actually staying. We had 3 little ones in tow (1, 3 and 5) and they cannot wait to go back again. The grounds are perfect for exploring, and Penny Lane is brilliant. The cabin has everything you may think to need, and Carol is quick to respond if you need anything or have a question. Washer and dryer are key when you’re getting dirty daily and was so appreciated. Fans in all the rooms (and a/c on main floor) make a summer stay doable with exhausted kids! Lovely, thoughtful decorations and such a comfortable space in every way. It is quite a testament that this cabin gladly welcomes dogs, yet as a family without a dog due to allergies, there wasn’t any semblance of dog “scent”…great cleaning! We explored the Lakes and waterfalls during the days and always came back to cook dinner or make a fire. Spent a week making great memories and will definitely go again!!

Spring Break 2022: April 18 -22. What to do for Spring break? That was the main question we were asking ourselves beginning of April. We have been to Finger Lakes / Upstate NY before, but it was during the winter and summer seasons. Spring is the perfect time to avoid the crowds, but certain trails may be closed. However, we kept ourselves very active with scenic trails/waterfalls and visits to museums. Host Carol were very kind to let us rent her cabin. It was clean, organized and stocked with plenty of household supplies. We enjoyed cooking breakfast, pack lunches for our day trips and coming home to prepare dinner. Sounds like alot of work, but we enjoyed it as a family activity. If it saves us money and is also heathier- well that is just "icing" on the cake. Everything we needed to prepare meals were provided with this cabin. Thank you Carol for being so attentive to all her clients' needs. Our dogs (Bichon Frise & miniature poodle) also enjoyed their stay. This was one of the few places that allowed pet(s). This was important because pets should also be allowed to enjoyed family vacations, right? Carol was the perfect host. She checked up on us and see if we needed anything during our stay. In return, we tried to be respectful of her cabin and tried leaving in the same perfect condition when we arrived. Everyone (including Buddy & SnowBall) had a great vacation!! Thank you for letting us stay at your house!!!

This property was a perfect for our little retreat. We brought two kids under five and enjoyed all the amenities both inside and outside. The house is exactly as pictured but the floor plan is better than I could piece together. Direct communication with the owner was highly appreciated. We can’t wait to go back!!

The cabin is beautiful, roomy and comfortable. Perfect for an extended family — we were two grandparents, two parents and a six year old. Plenty of room for a few more people if needed. Beautiful law, woods, stream and pond! Our granddaughter appreciated the hidden penny trail, swings and trees that were easy to climb. Very close to High Tor Wilderness Area with challenging trails with Waterfalls (for them, check out appropriate gear and clothing).

We were looking for a relaxing weekend getaway in the woods, and this lovely cabin exceeded our expectations. It was very comfortable for the two of us; it would also be perfect for a family. Everything worked as it shouid: the heat was easily adjustable and very comfortable, and the wood-burning stove added charm; the well-equipped kitchen was laid out nicely; the first floor bedroom was comfortable--even the wi-fi was excellent. We're definitely planning to come back again.

This cabin and property are fabulous! Do yourselves a favor and book this cabin! It was just as pictured and described! We had such a wonderful time that we requested to book one more night, and we were so happy it was available! Walks in the woods through the trails, sitting by the wood stove playing board games and putting together a puzzle, and cooking delicious meals together. Carol was so friendly and attentive by checking in with us to be sure we were all set. You can just feel the love the owners have put into this cabin and property! One of our favorite rentals by far! We live just down the road, but so enjoyed the escape this beautifully appointed cabin offered us. As a mom traveling with 2 young girls- this was the perfect retreat to reconnect and we look forward to visiting again!
