This was our first time at Culburra. We arrived in heavy rain and a bit of a chill in the air so to find such a cosy and welcoming cottage was a true bonus. We were able to heat the space well to take away the chills . The games cupboard was well supplied and once the rain went we enjoyed such games in the spacious backyard. The wifi and ability to use Spotify was also a plus. We were indeed very comfortable.

The cubby house is a sweet and welcoming home away from home. Plenty to do from the location - access to the beach and Lake, plus the abundance of games and activities in the house itself.
Highly recommend for families of all ages.

Perfect place for a relaxing weekend near the beach. Loved the house- clean, characterful and with all the essentials! Camilla was a great host! Would highly recommend.

We were 2 couples with kids under 3. We loved our stay, the proximity to the water was a real plus. Outdoor dining was lovely. Would definitely stay again.

Had the best stay. The location is amazing, literally across the road from the beach and river and the bunkhouse accommodation is so well appointed and has everything you could possibly want. Our host Camilla was great to communicate with and even offered us an early check in and late check out so we could make the most of our stay. This is my new favourite place to stay at the coast.

We loved the Cubbyhouse & all of the gorgeous retro pieces in the house. We really enjoyed our stay, the house had everything we needed, along with a well stocked pantry & very comfy beds. Highly recommend.

Nice beaches, the property was good for a short stay, the minus was a lack of railing at the back. The drop was not very high but high enough for a 14 months old baby.

We had a lovely stay in the Cubbyhouse. The place is in a great location beside the lake and beach. Beds were comfy and outside area would have been great to use if we had had better weather. Would be a great place to stay in hot weather.

The Cubbyhouse provided the perfect setup for a very relaxing holiday. The location and garden setting were wonderful with just a quick walk to the beach or lake. The house was imaginatively furnished and had everything needed and then some. Plenty of space to entertain. Loved the outdoor shower! Would certainly love to return.

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at culburra. The organising and checking was easy, the location was perfect and the place was just lovely! Private back yard and great deck, bedrooms and rooms all spacious and plenty of essentials for doing your own cooking. Lovely coastal feel to the place. And Camilla was so helpful with everything. We plan to go back for sure!

Everything is just so easy with the cubby house, booking, location, lay out. Feels like visiting a friend’s home.
Bringing towels is a bit of a pain but in the scheme of things a minor inconvenience. Clean, easy and a fabulous deck front and back.

This was our second time staying at Camilla’s property. We had hoped that our family could’ve stayed longer with us, but the time away was a blessing. Our two dogs were very safe and secure at the property. We have stayed at many other homes and this property has no spots that we had to find items to stop our dogs escaping.
The location is brilliant and steps from the water, however, the best bit is how quiet and comfortable the home is. Everything we needed was in the home and because of current concerns with COVID we didn’t get out and about as much as last time. Nevertheless we are very grateful to Camilla for her hospitality.

This super cute cottage is a ripper. It has everything you need, with the best ever backyard for kids and the fur babies. It is so peaceful and a brilliant location to the beach with a park right across the road. It rained all weekend for us, but it really didn't effect our stay. We had a well needed unplugged relaxing weekend. The host Camilla is lovely and we thank you her for her care and kindness.

Our stay was very nice. Everything was as described. Unfortunately the beach across three road had be baited for wild dogs so we couldn’t take our dog over there which was the only downside however many other beautiful beaches to go to! We would definitely stay again.
