We loved our stay. House is the perfect size for our group. We loved eating dinner on the porch and playing games at the big table in the kitchen. It was immaculate when we arrived and the owner came over to welcome us. It is close to the bay beach for sunsets and a short walk to the best ice cream in Surf City. Can't wait until next year!

Had a great stay. Was perfect location being 4 houses from bay beach, 2.5 blocks from ocean. Was very clean and well kept. Owner was on top of things and had great communication. Everything was listed properly and accurately. Wifi approved by teenager usage. Wish bigger bed was a queen as husband is 6’6” but that’s my ONLY complaint. That the largest bed is only a full for the adult couple who rents. Wonderful rental and will more than likely rent again!! :)

The location is perfect! House accommodated what we needed. Great mini get away!

MaryAnn was very welcoming upon arrival at the property. She was easy to contact with questions both before and during our stay. The unit was very clean and smelled freshly disinfected when we arrived. As other reviewers have mentioned it is a basic unit with no frills, but the location is super convenient and really allows you to relax - which is exactly what we were looking for. Because of COVID we had to supply all linens including pillows, but that was well communicated prior to the stay and okay with us since we knew what we brought was safe! Would recommend this property to anyone who wants to get away, relax and unwind.

This is the second year we’ve stayed here. Perfect for our family. Great house if you don’t need all the bells and whistles. Easy walk to the bay and beach. Hope to stay again

Nice sized apartment for our family. Mary Ann was easy to work with and very personable. Location was perfect...bay beach a stones throw away. If available will stay again!

We came here with our 4 month old and walked to the Bay Beach with him every single day. I’ve been coming to the island for 30 summers and this is the cleanest house I’ve ever been to. Also, the outdoor shower is HUGE! Great for kids/families. To top it off, the owner, MaryAnn, is the sweetest ever! We hope to come back every year.

First floor apartment was spacious, cool, and clean! 1/2 block from bay beach and a 10 minute walk to ocean. We would definitely stay again! Top floor next time though. It was a little noisy with a toddler running around above us, every morning,starting at 7 am! ha! We just decided that meant it was time to get up and enjoy breakfast on the lovely shady porch. Be advised, there is no laundry near by. It is a 15 minute drive to the mainland for the nearest laundromat. Even still, we had a great time and our host was attentive and even mailed me glasses that I left. Loved the big outdoor shower and beach badges that were included with our stay!

Perfect location for a week away. Beach is close and bay is closer. Our two young boys loved playing at the bay beach. The property is somewhat dated and kitchen is limited but exactly what we were looking for. Mary Ann was excellent and we had a great time.

My family and I had an amazing time!!! The property isn’t fancy, but it was very clean and in a great location (1/2 block from the Bay and approximately 5 short blocks from the beach), plus it was close to shops. Mary Ann was so friendly and accommodating, she truly made us feel right at home. It was a perfect beach getaway and we will definitely be back again soon!

The rental was amazing! Just the right amount of size for a week away. 3 spacious bedrooms and large living room area. Outdoor seating area was great for beautiful views of the bay. Only a few houses away from the bay beach for gorgeous sunsets.

We had a great time staying at this property! We LOVED the short walking distance to the bay beach where we could go on a whim if we had an hour to spare, and my four year LOVED swimming in the water without the fear of big waves. The deck was a wonderful place to sit out on, and the overall feel of the place was comfortable. We rented bikes for the week and it was the best way to get around! The property was close to anything we needed without the traffic of retail shoppers. Would definitely recommend!
