We had a wonderful week at Ooh La La with our four kids, ages 12-21. The house was immaculate when we arrived and had everything we needed and more! Comfortable beds and pillows, great layout for bedrooms and living space, multiple deck areas, and well stocked kitchen. We made most of our meals at home and had everything we Needed. Even a pan for make a birthday cake for our daughter. Close to beach and walking distance to Avon restaurants and pier. We would recommend Ooh La La for a great week in the Outer Banks!the

The home is lovely. Lots of room for everyone. The pool was perfect and a very short walk to the beach. Jennifer provided great communication. No complaints at all!

What a great place to stay! The house was super clean and had an amazing kitchen with everything you would ever need to prepare a great meal. The deck off the bedrooms was a perfect place to relax in the shade and feel the ocean breeze. The top deck had views of the ocean and sound and was a great place to sit in the evenings. We will be back!

The place was very spacious for a family of eight. We bought an inflatable bed since three of the room had only a single bed and the two nephews were not going to share a bed together. The first-floor game room has a sofa that convert into a bed but the fridge in that room was extremely noisy. The kitchen had all the cooking appliances available to you and the grocery store was less than three miles away, which was very convenient. The short walk to the beach was nice. You past two residential homes and the steps to the path to the beach was right there. We're very pleased with our stay and would recommend anyone who is looking for a location that's right near the beach and shopping not too far away as well.

Having stayed in rentals at the Outer Banks numerous times, I have to say I loved Ooh La La. The home was very clean, kid friendly including gates for the stairs. The home was simply decorated so I didn't have to worry about nick nacks being broken by toddlers.
The kitchen was one of the best stocked I've ever seen.
The host was easy to communicate with and responded in a timely manner to my messages.
If you are in serious need for some carefree salt therapy, this is the place for you.
We're already planning next year's trip.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ooh La La. You can really tell that Jennifer loves her property and is happy to share it with guests. We’ve been staying on Hatteras Island for over 10 years and this has been one of our favorite spots. Decorated nicely and has everything you might need for a beach stay!

Everything you want a Outer Banks vacation to be! Awesome location great house completely stocked . Stress free time,fun for every age and we were able to park our boat in on location which is a rarity! Can’t wait to go back! Missing Avon already

Beautiful space and property. The house is nice and spacious for multiple families. Pool was very nice and nice temperature. Quick walk to the beach. Has lots of beach things so you can pack light on this end- shed by pool has toys, floats, chairs. Some things you will need are sheets for the beds, bathing towels and kitchen towels.
Really enjoyed the area and the places that were walkable for coffee, sweet treats, ice cream, dinner.
Extra bonus for us were the baby gates and booster high chair.

From beginning to end, Jennifer was a wonderful host. The house went above and beyond our expectations. It was extremely comfortable, clean and the kitchen had everything you can imagine to make a beach stay so much easier. We cooked a lot of meals in with our family and the kitchen was perfect. The pool was an added bonus. It was very clean and well-maintained and we enjoyed a lot of family time there. Close proximity to the beach was also very convenient! I would highly recommend Ooh La La for your vacation!

Great location with a pool
Property was all we could ask for in a place by the beach. You are 50 yards from the beach access. There is a pool to cool off in if you don't want to walk to the beach. The place is clean and had plenty of room. Would stay there again.

We had a great stay for the week. The property was clean, comfortable and just a quick walk to the beach and drive to the sound. Jennifer was a wonderful host; very easy to contact. We will def stay again. 5 stars 😊

Beautiful, clean, and spacious!
This was a beautiful, spacious and clean home that easily accommodated our entire family including my siblings kids. Each floor was well set up, has everything you could possibly need, the house was close to coffee/ice cream and the exterior pool kept everyone so happy and was a great place to cool down before mealtime! The beach was an easy walk - you can see it from the driveway and watching the sun set from the top porch was nothing but amazing. Would definitely recommend this home for your Avon beach vacation!

Comfortable House in a great location
A great place to enjoy time at the beach! House is comfortable and well-appointed, with loads of great spaces inside and out. The screened-in porch was a welcome place to relax in the evenings, and the pool was so much fun - especially in the evenings with the underwater lights on!

Amazing beach house
Super clean beach house with its own pool and a short walk to the beach..what more could you ask for?!?! My family and I enjoyed our vacation and felt right at home. Jennifer was a great host!

What a wonderful experience

Great place!
We really enjoyed the property. I have 3 smaller children ages 8, 6 and 2. The kids loved the pool. It’s not too far to the beach even with the littlest guy. Overall great experience!

Spacious and clean
This property is so close to the beach with a short walk to get there. The house is very clean and comfortable. It’s got plenty of space for the whole family. The pool is lovely and the water is warm. Close to restaurants and small shops.

Even Better Than It Looks Online!
The owner has carefully considered the guest experience in every corner of this house. The kitchen is so incredibly well-stocked, and every room is appointed with comfort and convenience in mind. It was also the cleanest place I have ever rented--truly spotless from top to bottom. I was also struck by how big it is! Every room is spacious, and the furniture is meant to accommodate large groups--great dining table, comfy sectional, huge TV for movie nights, tons of high-quality outdoor seating. The pool was wonderful too, and the proximity to the ocean can’t be beat. We absolutely loved it and would love to come back.

A nice home away from home
Cozy at home feel, good location, nice private pool, clean, good for kids. Unfortunately, the weather was windy and chilly most of the time so we didn’t get to enjoy the pool very much, but we still enjoyed the beach house. Pool floats and toys were provided and that was nice. Not a far walk to the beach. Overall, we liked it and would stay again.

Nice getaway
We enjoyed our stay. The kids loved the pool and the easy access to the beach. The house was nice and had an extremely well supplied kitchen. Flies in the house and around the pool were a nuisance; also saw some crawling bugs in the living room and dining area. House owner was very responsive.

Wonderful vacation experience!
This home was as described! It was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need, and Jennifer, the owner, was very responsive. This was a family vacation so the pool was popular with the kids too. It was so fun to use it at nite with the colored lights in the pool. The only bad thing we experienced was the very low water pressure on the top floor for the kitchen & our shower/toilet. Overall, we would come back to this house in a heartbeat. It was large enough for all of us into eat together or go to have some private time, Highly recommend!
The beach itself was clean & not crowded at all. Beware that the sand gets very HOT so wear shoes (not flip-flops). Also, at night, the beach covered with CRABS! We were unable to walk the beach at nite due to them being everywhere.

Ooh-la-la was the best vacation home I have ever stayed in! The house was nicely decorated and furnished, and Jennifer does an outstanding job of keeping it clean. Great view of the ocean and a short walk to the beach. The pool is also wonderful and a great amenity to have. Jennifer was so easy to communicate with and responsive to any and all questions and concerns. We loved this house!

Wonderful house and beautiful beach!
Our family had an amazing vacation! This house is perfect. We are a family of 6 and we brought my parents and had plenty of room! My kids are 7,5,2, and 1 and we had an amazing time. The beach is beautiful and the pool is perfect. I cannot say enough amazing things about this property The location to the beach and access is easy and super close! Everything was great! We will definitely come back.

Great Place to Stay!
We had a great stay in Avon! Jennifer was a great host, everything was exactly as described. The location was perfect, a nice quiet neighborhood with easy access to the beach. Spacious and comfortable—stocked with everything you’ll need.
This is an excellent property in a pleasant neighborhood. It’s a short walk to the beach and is right next to restaurants and other Avon shops. Our family enjoyed the pool, the spacious beach and relaxing on the deck. This is also a very well stocked house. You’ll find everything that you need to make yourself feel at home. We’d definitely stay here again!

Home away from home
My family had a great time at Oh La La!!! The house was so clean when we arrived!! Beach access was easy to get to, quite a walk on the beach to the get to the water, but that is to be expected in Avon. The house is super kid friendly, baby gates galore, toys in the house, and kids kitchen utensils. Great shared living space, fully loaded kitchen, and comfy beds!! We fit 6 adults and three small children so comfortably in this house. We will absolutely be back!
