Nice VRBO. Very comfortable and clean. Each bedroom has a bathroom! Lots of steps up to main floor and another set to bedrooms on 3rd floor. Lake view from master. It was great to have a covered boat slip. Thanks for the memorable trip!

The townhome is very well maintained with plenty of room and well stocked. The garage is deep enough to park 2 cars and the covered dock makes it very convenient to leave your boat on the water during your stay. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for everything.

My 3 siblings and sister in law stayed at the condo. (We have not vacationed together in over 50 years.) Had a blast, condo was great only we are not as young and the stairs gave us all our exercise for the next year. Would recommend renting again. Thanks

Nice location, but unpleasant, awful and nasty experience with the owner.
The owner abuses the security deposit. Extremely complex checkout procedure: forgetting to dispose of anything will result in charging the deposit. I followed the checkout instructions precisely. I did two hours of cleaning before I left the property, proud. Yet, the owner sent me an insulting ugly message : "Trash and liquor bottles left inside the house. Kitchen left in a greasy nasty mess. Cleaning staff charged extra to clean the mess up left behind."
I have my own rental property elsewhere and never treat my guests like this - its sad. The apartment was very poorly stocked and they were stingy with cleaning supplies. There are no sponges to wash the dishes. For a 5 night stay, they left two dishwashing detergent tablets. I had to wash the dishes by hand without sponges using small pieces of clothing. Despite this inconvenience, I did my best to clean everything. One of the guests may have left a bottle of whiskey. The owner seems to want to use that to suggest that there was a lot of drinking going on - which there was not. If the owner doesn't want any alcohol on their premises, they have the option to make that a rule, but this would result in fewer renters. During our stay, the owner took 3 days to respond to a question I asked about the safety waiver, wasting our time. See previous negative reviews which confirm the deposit abuse, a very loud refrigerator, TVs not working, etc. Stay away!

First, knowing that there were 17 steps to walk up before you entered the condo would have been nice to know. This made it difficult for my older mom to go in and out. Second, the view from the living room was non existent. Not as listed. Third, listing stated there were TVs in EVERY room on 2 different places on the listing. That was untrue. Only in living room and master bedroom. Not good for my older mom who watches TV constantly and couldn't. Fourth, The refrigerator made an awful noise all weekend. Messaged the owner and she called right back. Texted her the fridge label so she could research how to get it to stop and never heard back from her. Fifth, The fridge was also dirty and had old crumbs in it. Was not cleaned as it should've been. Sixth, one of the bathrooms was not cleaned. It had hair all over the shower wall and was totally disgusting. We did have a good time spending time together but the condo didn't live up to our expectations we had from the listing. I would not stay here again.

We checked in and the unit that had not been cleaned. The cleaning lady got there at about 5:00 (check in was at 4:00) Once she came she did a good job but it started our trip off bad. The cleaning lady left at 8:00. The owner refunded me (mailed a check) for one nights stay due to the unit not being cleaned!! Per the instructions for check out we stripped the beds and put all linens from 4 beds in the laundry room along with the used towels and wash clothes. She now wants to charge me an “extra cleaning fee” for excessive laundry. How is it excessive when it’s from her beds? Do not rent from her! I’ve stayed at many places and have NEVER had this problem.
The issue is that she refunded us one night due to the unit not being clean upon check in but now wants to charge us the same amount for excessive laundry. She’s just trying to recoup that first night. We even reused our towels. Stay away from here! Very unethical!

Perfect location in Hiawassee
This place was perfect for our stay.
We were in town for a wedding and this was central to most activities and even ended up being in the same complex as the other guests.

Beautifully decorated, and all amenities provided.
Cyndi was easy to communicate with and quick to respond.
Definitely hope to return to visit with our friends in the future!

Beautiful decor and sparkling clean
This town home is just lovely - deserves 5 stars. It was so pristine we felt like we were the first renters. The guest book proved us wrong - there were many well satisfied before us.
Just a note that there are stairs to climb - a flight from the entrance to the main floor and another to the second. The lake view is somewhat obstructed by trees but the waterfront is very close.
We especially loved the large lakeside pavilion. It was the perfect spot to watch sunsets and make s’mores in the stone fireplace.
The complex is private, safe and well maintained. The host, Cyndi Herbert, was gracious. She responded quickly throughout the rental experience.

Perfect Spot

Wonderful Experience and Relaxing Stay
The property is very well kept and the unit was very clean inside. It had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. The property manager was very responsive to our questions to enable us to plan. Our rental included a covered boat slip which worked out VERY WELL for our fish/ski boat plus a secure area to park our boat trailer. The location is centrally located for food and things to do as well as convenient to getting to The Ridges Marina for boat fuel.
We will definitely see if it is available for our next visit!

Great Family Holiday Spot
The property was excellent, in great condition, clean, and perfectly located on beautiful Lake Chatuge. Having a boat slip was an added bonus. Only way it could have been better is if the unit were directly on the lake. We loved our stay!

5 Star Trip! Nice clean townhouse with dock access made our trip the best! No complaints other than our crew found out we are bit out of shape. A little bit of a hike from the dock and then the stairs but worth the climb for a awsome lake vacation!

Fun Weekend Getaway
The property was very clean, nice and updated decor, location is perfect for all the fun water activities , restaurants, bars and grocery store. The kitchen is nicely stuff with all the gadgets that we need for cooking and eating. Enough towels and sheets for all is us and even use the washer/dyer of the condo. The condo also comes with plenty of swim vest, 2 kayaks and a canoe that we use all the days we were at Lake Hiawasee. The only thing that should have improve is the checkin/checkout time. Too early to check out at 11:00 A.M. and too late to check in at 4:00 P.M. Seems like the owner of this condo should have work on changing these times.

Clean and cozy
The townhouse was clean, cozy, and well furnished. A very short walk down to the lake to see the geese and jump in for an evening swim was my boys' favorite part of our trip.

Very clean and beautifully decorated. Plenty of room for 6. My brother, his wife, my husband and two teens. We absolutely loved the access to paddle boards, kayaks and the canoe. We used them almost all day every day. The pavilion is great! Grilled everyday and spent a LOT of time there. From the top floor master bedroom balcony you could see the lake. We couldn’t see much of the lake from the 2nd floor family room balcony but we would sit out there for hours talking because the views of mountains were beautiful and it’s a nice community. Everyone was friendly. We loved it and will be back. Visit Bell Mountain while you stay. Well worth it.

Fun vacation on Lake Chatuge

From the top floor master bedroom balcony you could see the lake. We couldn’t see much of the lake from the 2nd floor family room balcony but we would sit out there for hours talking because the views of mountains were beautiful and it’s a nice community. Everyone was friendly.

Quiet Townhouse
Quiet townhouse within walking distance to Lake Chatuge. You have access to the boat slip which was great. We ended up having to use the public ramp to drop the boat since the closest marina is now private. That isn’t a problem if you have boat with an onboard motor. The use of the kayaks were a great addition.

Wonderful White Christmas
A beautiful little spot in Hiawassee! Perfectly located for convenience to Brasstown Bald Mtn, Georgia Mtn Fair Grounds, Young Harris, you name it! Grocery store is easy to get to and what a lovely spot right on Lake Chatuge. Very comfortable for a family or couples. All amenities provided and nice personal touches all throughout the home. Thank you for providing a wonderful place to stay while visiting family during the holidays!

The townhouse was very clean. And it had everything we needed in the kitchen. It was roomy and was close to all the trails we wanted to visit. I wish the fireplace worked but other than that, we loved it. I would recommend it and we will be returning.

The location was fantastic as the townhome complex is right on Lake Chatuge and we were able to make use of the complimentary canoe and paddle boards. It is a bit tricky to get the boats down the steps to the lakeshore so either have two strong adults or an excessive amount of grit. There was plenty to do close by with waterfalls, state parks, and hiking - we had a packed week with only one rain day. The washer and dryer were brand new and the beds were super comfortable. The master bedroom does get quite bright in the morning so bring an eye mask if you want to catch a little extra sleep. Each bedroom has it's own bath so it would work great for more than one family as well.Cyndi was very accommodating and easy to work with when we had some weather impact our travel days - we would highly recommend her place to anyone looking to get away and experience some nature.
