Location was great - two minute walk to the public beach access. Kids loved the pool. When the ocean was too rough or we had had enough of the beach, we would continue the water fun in the pool. The water slide was a big hit. Especially, with the water pump turned on. Beds were comfortable. The kids liked the loft with the cubby holes for their stuffed animals and treasures and curtains for privacy. It was like sleeping in a cave for them. We used the bikes provided as well as the beach chairs. It was nice not having to pack our own.

We enjoyed our stay immensely! The hosts were gracious and easy to work with. We love a beach home with a pool for evening swims between the witching hours of before and after dinner and this pool was one of the best. One of the beds is really, really high off the ground - like, very able-bodies adults had to launch their selves into it but all the mattresses were great. Will be booking again! Thanks!!

This property is 100% what you are looking for! Just a short 3 minute walk to the ocean. Games for the kids (board, video, ping pong, etc). One of the most relaxing and fun outdoor settings we’ve seen. Like your own oasis! Completely setup for your trips back from the beach (hoses, showers). The kitchen is stocked with just about everything you will need! Plenty of space and beds are nice too! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and if we didn’t vacation at a different beach every year, We would definitely book another stay here. A huge plus for us was the laid back area. It was very peaceful and still had enough for the kids (ice cream, shaved ice, shops, touch aquarium). Definitely a five star review all the way around!

This was our second time staying at this property for our annual family beach trip. We love the salt water pool ~ one of the larger pools on the island! We also love the pristine condition of the home as well as its close proximity to the beach/ocean. We have already booked this home for our 2024 trip!

We come to Surf City/Topsail every year and this might be my favorite place yet. Having the pool is a must - the kiddos loved the slide! The house was very comfortable and having chairs and beach wagon there was super helpful. Would stay again for sure!

House was very nice. Kitchen equipped well, could have used a couple more dishcloths, toilet paper and paper towels. Ran out of all pretty quickly. Had to wash dish towels every day. Good cookware and plenty of sizes. Pool and grounds beautiful. Owner very prompt with any concerns. Would stay again.

My family and I just returned home after a fabulous week's vacation at this property. My two adult children, their spouses and 3 little ones (ages 2 and under) had a great time! The house was extremely clean, comfortable and well appointed. We loved the upstairs bunk and game room! The short walk to the beach with the three little ones and all our gear was very easy since we were so close to the beach access point. It was so convenient (not to mention enjoyable) for the adults to enjoy the pool and backyard oasis while the little ones were down for their naps. I was so impressed by information shared by the host, her responsiveness to my questions, the location, and the amenities of this rental property. 5 stars all around! We definitely will be returning.

This house had all we could need and more. We loved the location across from the beach and were able to ride bikes to dinner, ice cream, the pier, and the touch tank aquarium. We appreciated all the little touches the owner thought of. We would definitely stay again!

This property and it’s location made for the perfect Beach weekend for our family. We were two adults and three children and everyone had an amazing time. The beach access was a short walk, and the beach was pristine. Coming home, dropping our stuff under the house, showering in the outdoor shower, and then lounging in the pool until dinner. We all slept like babies in the comfy beds and plenty of space for us all. The kitchen was well appointed, we stayed in for our meals. Instacart delivered groceries from Publix! We are definitely planning another stay here.

The house was well set up with everything we needed and more. The pool was a lovely way to hang out around the house. There was plenty of space to cook and eat meals together. The outdoor deck provided the opportunity to have peaks of the ocean and listen to the waves.

This property is perfect for our family vacation. We have 4 adults and 3 grand boys. We all have plenty of room without being on top of each other. There are nice extras, i.e. beach chairs, beach wagon, outdoor shower, easy beach access etc. This was our 3rd summer and we will be back for a 4th. The owner is quick to respond and very pleasant to deal with.

The pictures of the rental are spot on. The house is awesome. Everything was clean, linens & beach towels provided and vacuum sealed, ready for your use. Beds are all very comfortable. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan, as does the living area. The house is the same cool temperature in every room. The kitchen has a huge table with built in bench and chairs; easily sits 10 people.. The walk in pantry room has tall shelves for your grocery items Washer, dryer & a second full size refrigerator. The outside grill is wonderful to cook on. Public beach access walkway is 3 houses South from the rental - and not crowded. Had to contact the owners once during our stay - The Propane gas tank on the grill was empty; I wrote Tay - she answered within one minute that a full, spare tank was avail in the storage room. Problem resolved. We loved the house, will stay here again & highly recommend

We rented the property for our fourth annual family beach trip & everything was perfect! This home was by far the nicest one we’ve stayed in on Topsail. Our five year old granddaughter really thought the upstairs loft was very cool! The rest of us especially enjoyed the pool & slide! We enjoyed our stay so much we’ve already booked this home for July of 2023!

It was a very easy process. No worrying about getting to an office for a key. Very clean and and beautiful home!!

Everyone loved this house so much in 2021 that we came back this year!! The location perfect— short walk to beach, quick drive to everything, can walk on beach to the pier, and great shelling on beach. The house itself is perfect also — kitchen well stocked, large table to enjoy meals, fun bunk/game room area for kids, and beautiful heated pool with low shelves and a fun slide for kids. Just Awesome!!

We spent a long Easter weekend here and it was a wonderful visit. The pool was warmed to a comfortable temperature and our boys loved the slide. The layout was great with everything on the main level with the exception of the kid's room/playroom upstairs. The owners have really taken the time to ensure amenities are available and accessible to guests. This is much appreciated although we do tend to bring some of our own stuff due to preference, you really don't need to bring much of anything. The beds were all comfortable which is another aspect of a rental that can ruin a nice trip. And the mom in me was so excited to see they had a Speed Queen washer and dryer! One thing to keep in mind is that beach access is very convenient but not handicap accessible. The access is very steep with no stairs so if you have anyone with mobility issues, you will not be able to use the convenient beach access. Also, the housekeeping details felt rushed as there were tables left undusted, food left in the oven, and shower doors/windows that had not been cleaned properly. You will be very happy with your decision to rent this lovely, well maintained, and decorated home and the owners were very responsive. In summary, we had a lovely visit and would certainly return again. Thank you!

We escaped our 35 degree Michigan homestead for a week of fun in the sun. The house was truly amazing!! The little things like matching cookware shows the property owners really want you to enjoy your time there. The table games, four bikes and heated pool were perfect touches for the escape.

While we didn't have the best weather during our stay, the pool at this property was a life saver! The kids in our crew loved the loft and games. The home is as very clean, comfortable and well appointed. A quick and easy walk found is at the beach daily hunting for shells and shark teeth. Great place for friends and family!

We will be back to this property! Super clean and well maintained. Essentials were provided and easy to locate, providing for a relaxing trip. The kids absolutely loved the loft room with bunks. They loved pulling the curtains for some private reading time. The warm pool was fantastic on the chilly days. Beds were very comfortable. Thank you for an enjoyable weekend at the beach.
