It was a good stay...a bit expensive

Spa bath water was not hot only shower was hot. But looking great 👍

Great spacious room, and the bath was awesome!

There was a water bottle and some other stuff from the previous guests under the bed.

We wanted a nice stopover on our way home to the UK from Hungary. We searched high and low across the A3 motorway location and this exactly matched our requirements. Location, budget, free parking, good decor and a feeling of something a bit special for the last night of our holiday together. Villa Bowdy ticked all the boxes. We opted for the room with the spa bath and it was fabulous. The room was immaculate, the staff were wonderful and the hotel provided all the services we required for a wonderful night.

There was nothing I did not like about this hotel.

hottub was nice with good hot water. no personal contact with anyone, we took the key from a locker outside and had straight acces to our room.

in the hottub, the water came out really slowly, took about 30-45 minutes before water was at a point where we could sit. in the hottub were hairs and dust from previous guests, which was not really hygienic. also a huge black spider was on the (white) ceiling. i bought a romantic arrangement, which included bubbles, but no glasses were served with it, which we had to choose between (dirty) soda glasses or drink straight from the bottle. the pillow also was really really soft, when you put your head on it, it felt like there was no pillow underneath it. i contacted the owner with problems above, but i received no reaction.

Very clean with covid free access.Excellent bed.Brilliant parking.I made a mistake ranking the room on the form provided and thought 6 is good.Apparently not in Germany. :).Great place.Strongly recommended!

Nice jacuzzi, but leaks water on to floor when using. Damage from this can be seen in room.

The hotel is apparently used quite often for weddings. It is located on a busy road, but my room to the back (room 4) was quiet. Ample free parking. Very friendly staff. Late checkin was no problem. Breakfast was served on a tray outside the room because of Covid19 and was excellent. Additional food could be possibly bought at a supermarket that is next door. Would certainly stay again if in the area.

Control of the heating hidden under the window sill (took me some time to figure it out). There were some cobwebs on the ceiling in the bathroom. Free WiFi sometimes hung.

Nice rooms and great breakfast. The staff were attentive and very helpful (they are there only during certain hours). Overall served a purpose for a short lay over whilst travelling with a large supermarket and a few restaurants a short drive away.

Close to a busy road. No aircon. Setting not very interesting.
