Super cute, very clean and incredibly convenient! We had never been to Folly Beach before but this property didn’t disappoint! It had everything we never knew we needed. The beach is a literal 45 second walk from the property which was fantastic with a 2 year old. Highly recommend!

Katt was a very responsive host and the cottage was just as advertised. The only surprise was that the outdoor shower isn’t meant for anything except rinsing off sand. Otherwise, a perfectly sized cottage for 4, if two of your party are small. Fantastic beach access and not too far from the action on Center Street.

Definitely recommend this property. What a quaint little place. Perfectly located with a short walk to the beach. Everything was as described by the owner. On this adventure we stayed most of our time on the island. Everything you need is right there. We will definitely be back (our 4th trip to Charleston but 1st staying on the island). If, If I had to say anything in the somewhat negative...it would be that this place needs a washer/dryer, because if you stay 6 nights like we did, it would be nice to not have to go anywhere else to wash your clothes. Trust me, that was not a deal breaker. You will not be disappointed by booking this 2 bedroom house. Enjoy!!

Super cute, and clean cottage a few steps from the beach. It was super hot as we went in July, but the Air Conditioning worked GREAT and the beds were super comfy. Kay was super friendly and available. Highly Recommend!

The place has been renovated and is even cuter than the pictures! Katt put some love into the Beach Shack and it shows in all the details. The place was very clean and organized well with all the accommodations. It is perfectly located a minute walk from the beach, 5 minute walk to Bert's convenient store and about 10 minute walk to the main street of Folly Beach. Katt was an excellent host and we look forward to staying at the Beach Shack again! HIGHLY recommend this location!

The beachshack is cute, clean, and convenient to all Folly Beach has to offer...Perfect accommodations for a beach getaway with our children. The owners are responsive and the house was comfortable. We hope to return again soon!

As someone who's lived on Folly Beach (albeit, 7 years ago), Folly always seemed to buzz with a sense of busy-ness and tourist-filled flow in the months of June, July and August. We got this place for it's easy walk and location to a beach access (since we have young children). I never imagined a place to be so calm and relaxing in the midst of tourist season (especially 2 blocks from Berts! An awesome beach mart). But we found (my wife and I) sitting outside on the patio underneath the umbrella at night after the kids went down to be incredible calm with the ability to listen to the waves crash just 2 blocks away. We often marveled at how nice and quiet it was in the evenings. Would recommend 100 times to any friends and family thinking about visiting Folly.

We really enjoyed our stay. This place is perfect for 2-4 people. We really enjoyed the covered patio and the outdoor shower, which was perfect after a day at the beach. We would come and stay here again. Thank you Katherine for your hospitality!

This was a celebration trip for turning 60 with my friend. We loved this property, we loved everything about the house, the location and the hosts! We especially enjoyed the front patio area each morning with coffee and each evening with cocktails. The covered patio came in handy a few times it rained but it was by far THE BEST FOLLY PROPERTY I have ever rented and I will definitely book with Kat Grimes again the next trip to Folly. This was my 6th time on Folly and I finally found a "go-to" spot for my trips. We cooked a few times and every single thing we needed was there from pans to spices - Kat did not skip any details when putting this property together and it always felt like home and it will always be a fond memory. We plan to return in 2 years to celebrate turning 62! Folly is my happy place and now I have a happy place to call home and look forward to returning to. Thank you so much, Kat, and your wonderful cleaning crew for everything!

The house is on a very busy street & their are no sidewalks along the roads except on the Main Street. The roads in town can be very congested with no where to walk to the town & restaurants. Parking is definitely at a premium. We thought we had parked correctly on a side street & we got a $60 parking ticket for improper parking. We were told we should have read the city ordinances. The Beach is close & it was great having beach chairs & towels available for our use. Overall, it was a nice vacation.

This was the cutest beach house with everything you could need to make your vacation awesome. Katt was a wonderful host and answered every question we had. Check in was great! The beach chairs and towels were a great addition. The location of the house was perfect! We would definitely stay here again.

If your tall like me, it will be a distraction. Also, Ashley St. is the main rd used to travel from one end to the other on Folly beach. If you want a laidback, surfer town vibe, Folly beach is the place.
